672 Beast-taming Skill

Of course, everyone understood that logic but to really do it, no one dared to. Doak was an ancient-grade BOSS. Staying back-to-back with him was as dangerous as touching a tiger's private parts.

If he was not careful, he would die without even knowing how. Wang Yu's source of bravery came completely from his confidence in his own abilities.

Wang Yu was stuck so tightly on Doak's back such that no matter how Doak turned around, Wang Yu was behind him and could not be attacked. This scene was out-of-the-ordinary. If they did not know that the BOSS had this special attribute, everyone would think that Doak was insane.

Seeing how Wang Yu had Doak under control, Quan Zhen Sect did not slack off. Spell, arrows and more were sent towards Doak who was spinning around.

After the first round of attack, Doak was stunned by all the attacks and so, he decided to leave Wang Yu behind and continued to advance forward. Wang Yu turned to face Doak and reached out to give him a slap. Doak waved his sword to counter-attack him but Wang Yu turned around again to stick himself on Doak's back once more.

Once Quan Zhen Sect's skills completed their cooldown, they began another round of attack.

Just like that, Wang Yu was responsible for holding Doak back while everyone else was responsible for attacking him. Whenever Doak wanted to advance forward, Wang Yu will find some way to stay stuck on his back to create an opportunity for everyone else to attack him.

When Doak was less than five metres away from the King of Beast Dijun's head, his HP finally fell to null. He roared in unresignment and left behind a bunch of rare top-grade items which were shining, before he disappeared into a ray of light.

After Doak died, there was still a minute left to the Resurrection Totem. Although they lost control, Sunset Magical Apes instinctively remained on the spot.

At that moment, everyone was not in the mood to bother with the quest item as they did not have it and neither they could get it anytime soon. Instead, everyone's eyes fell onto the bunch of things Doak left behind.

Doak was an ancient-grade BOSS so all the items he dropped were of gold-grade and above, with no upper limit. He might have even dropped an ancient-grade equipment.

"Old Bull, what's there? What's there?" everyone crowded around and asked.

Wang Yu heard them and picked up the items then sent each of their attributes to the guild chat.

There was only one piece of equipment which was a double-handed large sword.

King of Beast's Hunting Blade (Large sword) (Obsidian)

Blue marks: Target's attack speed reduced by 30%

The marks can be stacked.

Reward: Passive skill, target's drop rate increase by 30%.

Haste: Aggressive skill, within 15 seconds, attack and movement speed increase by 30%.

Job Requirement: Warrior

Level Requirement: 50

Item introduction: It is Doak, a bounty hunter's, sword, levelled up by the King of Beast's blood.

It was not difficult to understand the item introduction as this sword was originally a gold weapon but Doak forcefully levelled up so this sword also levelled up to become an obsidian weapon.

Levelling up was just the levelling up of this sword's main attributes while the additional attributes did not level up. In fact, only three was levelled up so it was just an imposter obsidian weapon.

Of course, although this sword was an imposter obsidian weapon, its additional attributes were quite good. The three marks' reduction and blast skill's additions were outstanding. They were very suitable for people like Boson who had the additional agility in weapon battles.

What was the most precious was that this sword had the passive ability to increase drop rates. In this game with low drop rates, such an ability is very rare.

"Hmm… A pretty decent imposter obsidian. Save it for Boson." Wang Yu mumbled as he stuffed it into his bag.

The second item was a skill mastery book.

Beast-taming Skill: Special skill. Player can tame monsters or their young to become battle pets. Required job: Hunter.

"Damn, taming!" everyone exclaimed once they saw the skill book.

Anyone who played online games will know that pets are important to Archers. Regardless of the games, weakly Archers needed their battle pets to deal with their enemies.

As the saying goes, an Archer without a pet is like a Guardian who could not taunt. Although games could not be totally completed, > had never opened the pet system to the public. Archers did not even have a "Pets" tab. In other games, they were high and almighty but here, they were like a handicapped who could only bully those of weaker Pugilist jobs.

In other online games, Archer's Beast-taming books were already highly desired. In >, it definitely was even more so. Everyone in Quan Zhen Sect were veteran players and so they naturally understood how much this was worth.

"If we auction this, it will sell for at least one thousand gold coins." Vainglory greedily asked, "Frost Blade has died and no one is an expert at the market price so we can only guess."

Ming Du looked down on him and said, "Little Chick, you have not seen the world. This very likely might be the only Beast-taming book in this entire game. How could only one thousand be enough? It's worth at least one thousand five hundred gold coins."

"Keke, I'm going to strike rich!" Vainglory was excited.

"Mind your words. We are going to strike rich!" Ming Du corrected him.

"How can we divide this book?" Wang Yu asked Ling Longmeng and Yang Nuo while holding it in his hands.

Archers are split into Sharpshooters and Hunters while advanced level jobs only included for advanced levels. Although Ling Longmeng belonged to the hidden group, she was still part of the hunter-system so Ling Longmeng could pick up the Beast-taming Skill.

Yang Nuo was the heroic hidden Demon Hunter and so she could learn the skills from both jobs, and naturally, she can also learn this skill.

These two ladies were no match for the rest. As warriors too, Crotch Lord and Boson were Thieves, Frost Blade had a lot of good stuff while with Darknorth Fisher, they could discuss with him.

However, everyone in Quan Zhen Sect was short of Archer's equipment. Usually, they would only receive money and very rarely any equipment. Now that suddenly there was something for Archers to use, both of them could use it which made it awkward too.

"I won't have a use for it!" Yang Nuo said after reading the Beast-taming Skill book.

Yang Nuo was a short distance Archer and have always taken things on herself so she had no use for anything like pets.

Ling Longmeng was a very awkward person. Seeing how Yang Nuo gave up her rights, she also said, "I also have no use for it…"

She did not think about how as a weak Archer, how would she survive without a battle pet…

"Lol… What's wrong with you two? Why are you guys giving it up to the other person?" Fearless was speechless then stuffed the book into Ling Longmeng's hand.

"Why give it to me!" Ling Longmeng said unhappily.

Fearless pointed at Yang Nuo and said, "She really doesn't need it."

"Why?"

"Because they are the same type of people." Fearless pointed at Wang Yu.

"…" Ling Longmeng was speechless and look at Yang Nuo in shock then took the Beast-taming Skill book.
