\"No way…\"

Li Yi looked at the seven identical Sealing Swords. Even he could barely believe his eyes.

The Sealing Sword was a weapon at the same level as Dragonslayer. Its Attributes may look pathetic now, but that was because the sword had not been activated yet.

Even so, getting seven at once? That was some unbelievable luck, right?

In the past life, only three Sealing Swords had ever appeared over the eight years of King of Pantheon's operation. Two of them were from the Southern Continent, and one from the Western Continent. Every player who owned a Sealing Sword had, without exception, the right to participate in the God Wars.

On the other hand, only Warriors could wield Dragonslayer, and only Violent Warriors at that. The only players who could get 99 Wrist STR were Level 190 and above Violent Warriors who sacrificed their DEF and put all their points into their STR.

In other words, Dragonslayer's requirements were too difficult to meet.

The Sealing Sword was not quite so picky, though. Anyone who had 200 STR, regardless of class, would be able to equip it. At the same time, this sword even improved according to the player's wishes. If a player wanted it to gain more M-ATK, it would. If they wanted it to gain more STR, it would.

In the past life, countless people wanted to get their hands on a Sealing Sword. Unfortunately, just like Dragonslayer, this thing was an extremely rare drop. Amber Sword Heart had camped in the Demon God Halls without getting it.

It was just so hard to obtain.

\"Could it be that the seven Genghises were Divine Spell clones?\"

Li Yi considered the possibilities and soon came up with an answer.

Who else knew King of Pantheon as well as he did?

The mysterious appearance of the seven Genghises had piqued his suspicion, and now he saw that all seven had even dropped the same equipment. Only the legendary Divine Spells could do that.

\"Was a god messing with us behind the scenes?

\"Heh, it's Carulla…\"

Of all the gods on Mount Pantheon, Li Yi had only ever provoked the God-queen Carulla. Once he thought of that, he only had to follow the logical explanation to figure out the identity of the mastermind.

Li Yi kept the seven Sealing Swords away and turned around, leaving the Demon God Halls.

Since the God-queen Carulla was the one behind all this, Li Yi was determined to have his say too. He always believed in not picking a fight unless provoked, but taking an eye for an eye once provoked.

'You're the one who started it, so don't blame me for what I do to you!'

Now that the seven Genghises were dead, Li Yi had completed his quest as well. However, he did not leave immediately because there was something else he had to do.

He had not killed the Second Demon God yet, so how could he bear to leave?

Once the seven Genghises were killed, all the demons would also become seven times weaker. For every action, there was an equal and opposite reaction, so the system kept to that too, strengthening and weakening the monsters accordingly. This was a perfect opportunity that would probably never arrive again, so how could Li Yi let it pass?

Legend had it that the Second Demon God was guaranteed to drop a Divine Weapon. That alone was enough to make sure that Li Yi would not share her.

'You're seven times weaker than before, so what if you use your Territory? My Territory is Rank 12, think I can't beat you?'

Li Yi stepped on the mechanisms and soon arrived at the end of the spiral corridor. There, he saw the Second Demon God, Aersith.

The beautiful, seductive Demon God Princess stood there with her flute, looking exactly the same as the last time Li Yi had seen her.

By then, the World Channel had gone insane.

The demons were seven times weaker now, and the players who had been farming monsters sensed it immediately. The monsters had become much easier to kill, but the EXP they gained remained the same. Was it no wonder that they were excited?

\"Everyone, come to Foreignland now! I'm slicing through these monsters like a hot knife through butter! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, come quick, hahaha…\"

\"Ten Fire Wizards here looking for a Sky Vagabond healer! Don't need to heal HP, just restore a bit of mana. Any Sky Vagabond healer who wants to level together, come now!!\"

Li Yi's killing the seven Genghises had indirectly benefited every player who was leveling in King of Pantheon.

When Aersith saw Li Yi, she sighed softly. \"You're back, human. Are you trying to kill me again?\"

\"You're a demon. I'm human. It makes perfect sense for me to kill you.\"

Li Yi raised his Orange Quality Bow and aimed it at Aersith.

\"I never hurt you, and I never intentionally harmed any human before, either. I hide here because I wish to avoid battle, so why must you force my hand?\"

Li Yi paused. He had drawn his bow, but the arrow firmly in place.

Aersith may just be a bunch of algorithms, but her words made Li Yi think that she was worlds apart from other regular monsters.

'You're a demon. I'm human. It makes perfect sense for me to kill you.'

Li Yi wanted to say that to Aersith again, but the words had almost left his tongue when he realized how foolish he was being. She was just a monster, so he should just kill her. Why waste time talking to her?

\"Psshh—\"

Li Yi let loose an arrow and the blue Star Arrow flew past Aersith. He missed his target.

\"C'mon, you're a Demon God. Shouldn't you be attacking me first?\"

Aersith looked at Li Yi and shook her head slowly.

'F*ck this, forget it! I'll just kill her!'

Li Yi drew his bow again and aimed a Powered-up Arrow at Aersith. The arrow buzzed, but just then, Aersith spoke all of a sudden, \"Legend has it that several millennia ago, demons lived peacefully on the Pantheon Continent too. They coexisted with the other races in mutual love and respect…\"

\"Psshh—\"

The Powered-up Arrow struck the ground. Li Yi could not bring himself to attack again.

Why did that sound so familiar?

Aersith turned around and waved at Li Yi. \"Go. I won't kill you.\"

Li Yi looked at Aersith closely and suddenly realized that her figure looked rather similar to that of the Defiants' Confederation's Mysterious Leader.

Could she be…?

Was she really the Mysterious Leader Gerald?

'Well, f*ck a duck! That's downright crazy!'

Could the legendary Second Demon God really be the leader of the Defiants' Confederation???

Li Yi stared at Aersith's back, and the more he stared, the more convinced he was. If Aersith's name above her head was not red in color, marking her out as a hostile party, he would have long since run up to examine her.

'That can't be. If Aersith really is the Mysterious Leader, her density should have been discovered a long time ago in those eight years of my past life. So why haven't I heard about it? All I heard was about how strong the Second Demon God was, and how many players she had killed, and how she had a Divine Item...

\"Why aren't you leaving, human? Aren't you scared I'll kill you?\" Aersith said, her back turned against Li Yi.

\"I killed all seven Genghises, so you should be seven times weaker than usual now. I don't think you can kill me now, can you?\"

\"Oh?\"

\"Whoosh—\"

A dark purple Territory Barrier spread around Aersith, enveloping Li Yi in an instant. Li Yi had an idea and released his Territory Barrier at the same time to counter hers, but as a result, his Territory stuck closely to his body and nearly vanished from the overwhelming pressure.

'F*ck!

'Genghis is dead, so why isn't she weakened?'

\"I'm not like the regular demons. I am a demon with the purest bloodline, and the only upper-class demon unaffected by Genghis' power!\"

Aersith turned around slowly and looked at Li Yi, her eyes cold.

\"Pfft!\"

She was as strong as ever...
