Chapter 76 - Jay's Truth

***********

CHAPTER 76

Macy could not believe Jay went through all of these and yet he still saw them every time. It must have been terribly devasting for Jay.

"It was no wonder he became a playboy."

Macy had not known she said that out loud until Jenny replied. "I know. I caused it. I am to blame."

"How?" She turned her head from Jenny and took a look at Jay who seemed to be enjoying himself but had his eyes over at them every now and then.

"It started long ago." That alone had piqued Macy's curiosity.

"Tell me, please." Macy returned her gaze back to the now sad Jenny as she waited to hear the tale of the night.

"It all began as a couple of kids of business partners and friends, coming together with two, in particular, becoming closer than the rest."

"That was you and Sky?"

"No, it wasn't always Sky and although I was still close to Sky, Jay was my best friend back then. However, growing up, I began to like Sky more and it came to the time that Sky confessed his feelings to me and I reciprocated it. Unknown to me, my best friend was already head over heels in love with me."

"Then why didn't you reciprocate his love back? At least you had been closer to Jay."

"It wasn't so simple. It never was and it never would be. I always loved Jay as a friend but with Sky it was different. He was my soul, my world and my being. It was not expected though."

"What do you mean by not expected?" Macy asked. She did not understand it all.

"My dear, everyone expected for Jay and I to be the one."

"But… It always has a but." Jenny smiled at her before continuing her story.

"It just couldn't be and fate had something else planned out for us. Him I love as a friend and a brother and Sky I loved with my heart."

"The thing I did not understand was why did Jay not fight it?"

"It was way above what he could do. Fate had decided and so it was. His hands were tied and he had to watch his female best friend and first love be taken by his male best friend. It was the most devastating experience Jay had ever faced but then who were we to decide when our fates had been written in stone?"

Okay, Macy was already tired of hearing the word fate and wanted to understand what she meant by it.

"I really want to know why Jay stopped and what tied his hands."

"I am sorry dear bit in time you would know all of it. So ever since then, Jay had refused to let himself fall in love with any girl as he was too hurt to bear it all and perhaps was scared of doing so, having a one-sided feeling."

"He really has gone through a lot," Macy acknowledged.

"Well, they say, something must make a man."

"That was why he was devastated when he saw me kiss Sky/"

"Correct. It was as though it was all happening again to him and that was a huge blow to his face. I am surprised though that he did buckle up and followed through with you. This time he refused to let go and intents on chasing after you."

Macy felt like she had just been interviewed and asked some private questions and when she began to blush, Jenny knew she was a lost cause.

Jay had really found the girl for himself.

"Oh come on, I know you like him."

"I do," Macy confessed.

"Then stop sending him away to other ladies as you did earlier on with the dance and accept him. If it were another girl, I would not allow him to be with her but it is you. I know you are decent and Jay would enjoy spending time with you. I believe you can change him."

"I…"

"Hey, lovelies." Suddenly a voice said from behind them but they did not say anything as they already knew who it was.

"Jay."

"Miss me?" Both ladies smiled at him as he walked to their front to get a better view of them. "Hey, why am I not getting any answer? So none of you two ladies missed me?"

"You know I do. Now do not be such a cry baby and take Macy for a dance."

"Yes ma'am. Macy love, would you mind giving me the honour of a dance?" He dipped his head down a bit and extended his right hand out to her, waiting for her to accept it.

"You just have to ask nicely. How can I ever refuse?"

"Is that a yes?"

"You betcha." Together both of them went to the dance floor to enjoy the jive, leaving Jenny behind to watch them.

She felt happy that he was beginning to give someone else a try and that would be great.

To Macy, she began to see Jay in a new light and wanted to help him heal as he had helped her.

"What?" Macy asked as she noticed that Jay had not once peeled his eyes off of her face.

"It's nothing. I see you and Jenny were having a nice conversation."

"Yeah. I hate to say this but you were right." She flashed him a breathtaking smile before moving closer to him and wrapped her hands around his neck.

Jay wasn't so sure of what to expect from her so he decided not to think about anything and let her do what she wanted.

"It is a slow song, hon. Let's dance." He smiled back at her before wrapping both hands around her waist, drawing her body closer to his.

Subconsciously, he let out a soft sigh as he took in her scent and brought his head close to her ear like he wanted to whisper something to her but he never did.

Rather he pulled away and smiled at her as they began to move, slowly rocking their bodies from side to side.

Soon the DJ changed the music into hot disco, rocking music and they danced to the new beats, enjoying themselves to their heart's content.

All through the time they spent on the dance floor, Macy could feel that she really liked him and had just been letting her heart cry over what wasn't hers whereas the gem that laid waiting in front of her to pick it up was beginning to dull out of loneliness.

As they danced, Jay twirled her around before pulling her back and holding her close with her back pressed fully on his body and her head resting on his shoulders and she rocked him nice and good.

Deciding to give him a good feel, Macy went down rocking him and came back up in a not too fast and a not too slow fashion.

Jay was in for some trouble with her and considering he had his heart set on her, every of her body movement was making his blood boil and doing so many crazy things to him.

But being the gentleman that he was, he could not do anything other than accept all she gave. He knew she was teasing her and he could play the same game, but she wasn't one of his flings and he cherished her so much to want to do such to her.

If only she knew how he yearned to hold her and touch her… those were the words he wanted to whisper to her ears earlier on but kicked against it.

He felt a sense of relief wash through him knowing she allowed him to touch her. Boy was his mind in shambles because of it.

By the time she went back up and twisted her hip, grinding on him, Jay sucked in a deep breath before he stopped breathing altogether as he felt his semi-hard dick become fully erect under her ministrations and he knew she felt it too.

'Damn it, Jay. Behave. Get down you, get down.' He mentally scolded himself.

Even though he did that, one couldn't blame him as it was hard to have the girl you cherished go down on you and rock to silly and your body wouldn't get so excited. He would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy her doing that and he wanted more.

Following his instincts, he held her hips tight but not to the point of causing her pain and pushed his hips into her butt cheeks.

Macy who had not expected for him to do that, found herself leaning backwards and letting out a soft moan before she turned back around to face him.

"Do you love me?"

Jay blinked. He did not know why she said that all of a sudden, nevertheless he answered her truthfully. "I do."

"Why?"

"Because you are you. Everything about you is great, even your angry self. Although scary, I love it anyway. You are smart, beautiful, intelligent, you have a pure heart than anyone I have seen, you are like me hehhe, we share similar first love experience and you are the most amazing."

Jay did not get the chance to finish his words as the next thing he knew…
