70 You Wouldn'st Dare!

*Clap*

"Okay, then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Jaime intervened and saved Brie from an awkward situation.

Then the party of 3 proceeded to the shopping district. During the journey, there was a tense atmosphere coming from Brie. Linri was wondering what Jaime was planning to do to solve this or if she even had a plan at all.

"Have you given any thought about what I said? Are you planning on going to Autumnfall?" Linri asked. He wanted to know Brie's decision and wanted to push her if she didn't plan to confront her brother.

"I... I don't know" She was troubled by his question and looked at Jaime helplessly.

"You don't have to know anything though. I might be a liar screwing with your head or I might be telling the truth. In both situations, you can just find out the truth by going there. You can not escape your troubles by avoiding them, I wouldn't want you to suffer because you were unprepared." Brie was still conflicted about her choice.

"What's it to you? Why do you care?" Finally, she snapped back at him. Instead of getting annoyed Linri was happy because that showed that he was having progress with her.

"Yeah, why do you care?" Jaime suddenly stopped being a bystander and joined to help Brie. She was greeted by a glare from Linri.

"Well, Brissa this is a little hard to explain. You see your big sister and I have been living under the same roof for the past month. Can you imagine what would happen if two teenagers, opposite genders, start to live under the same roof? You must have also noticed that her personality changed a little, don't you think this can answer your question?" Being the conman he was Linri decided to deceive the innocent little loli. He was talking while looking towards Jaime so he hadn't seen Brie's reaction.

He turned towards Brie who had a blank expression on her face. She first looked at him and then towards Jaime. Then she became beet red. Linri could see that his suggestive words were taking root in her pure mind and she was quickly filling in the blanks.

"Brie don't be coaxed by this liar's words. He wouldn't have guts to do it anyway." Instead of backing down Jaime pressed on and looked at Linri suggestively. He felt like it would be bad if he let her take charge of the conversation. It really was troublesome to deal with this new 'Spark'.

"Oh really? Was there any lie in my words? We have been living together for the past month and you have even met my parents. What do you think is the next step?" Brie was looking at her big sister.

"Parents? Big sister don't tell me you are pregnant? Are you getting married!?" Brie was examining Jaime head to toe. Linri thought that it was better to tease this innocent loli, at least it was more fun to tease than Jaime. Whenever he was with her he felt like he had to choose his words carefully. Jaime, however, did not even hit Brie. She walked past her and stood in front of Linri stopping him.

"Prove it! I am standing right here. You can kiss me and I wouldn't move an inch." Jaime said all of this while looking straight into his eyes and he felt troubled. Brie who was next to them was covering her face with her hands. She was flushed but at the same time, she was peeking through her fingers. Linri's heart missed a beat at the thought of kissing Jaime's rose pink lips. Linri was not dense so he could see that this was Jaime's way of coming onto him and this was the exact reason he was troubled. He wanted to fell into temptation and let go but he remembered Mira his girlfriend back home.

"You are right, I am a coward and a liar so let this one go," Linri answered in defeat. At that moment he reaffirmed his decision of not to tease Jaime any more. Things were getting out of his hand so he just wanted to put a distance between them.

"Che, see I told you he didn't have the guts." Even though she was speaking harshly he could see the disappointment in her eyes.

"Then you are not pregnant?" To her question, Brie was greeted with a fist to her head.

"Of course not! How could you even consider it in the first place!" Brie felt that she was wronged. She did not even have anything to do with this but she war unreasonably hit on the head.

"But he is handsome? I thought he was your type?" The situation was becoming awkward for him and Linri decided to leave the two ladies and kept on walking.

"He is, right!?" Jaime had a beautiful smile on her face. She was like a girl whose boyfriend was praised by her family. Seeing her reaction Brie was even more confused, were they a couple or not? Did she like him or not? These questions were too hard for her to answer.

Eventually, they made into the clothing shops. Linri gracefully decided to stay outside and not have anything to do with this. Jaime tried to bring him inside forcefully but Linri would not budge so she had to go inside by herself. The reason he told her was simple, he said he wanted to be surprised inside the pool.

Maybe this would sound cliché but Linri waited outside by himself for almost an hour before they finally came out. Just what did they even do inside that it took an hour. He knew that girls liked the feeling of seeing themselves on a mirror and how beautiful they looked but come on. He was waiting alone by himself so at least they could consider his well being a little.
