44 I might have 'seaten's more than tha

Linri did not even take any time to answer as it was obvious to him.

"You talked like I had any choice in the first place. To me their life is more important than mine so of course I will go." Even if the people inside were not his parents , which they were, he would still go because Lyra was the only hope he had for living.

"HAHAHA! Well said Harclaw! Seems like you were not as despicable as I thought you were" To his surprise answer came from Lozna instead of Solas.

"Thanks I suppose." A sheepish smile appeared on Linri's face. That was Lozna's way of praising and who did not like being praised in this world.

Now that his talk with the deities were over Linri cut off his connection once more. He needed time to prepare. He could not just barge in there, he needed some tools but he did not know if he could get them here.

Linri looked back at Jaime. She was looking at Linri as if he was crazy which was understandable.

"Anyway I guess I need to explain some things to you... but first I need to wash my hair and change out of this rags. If it's not a problem can you gather anything flammable in the camp especially cooking oil?" He did not wait for Jaime to answer and just left which left her dumb founded.

"What do you mean anything flammable! I am not your servant gather them yourself!" Linri could hear Jaime's shouting from behind but he knew that she was gonna do what he said anyway so he did not bother answering.

After washing his hair and wiping the dirt he looked at his skin. It had become pale white again just like it was before coming here. All the tan he got during his stay were gone, I guess he was destined to look like a ghost his whole life.

After putting on military design cargo pants and a black shirt Linri looked like a child soldier. His hand instinctively searched for his military tag his father gave him but it was not there. It was unsettling as always. He pulled himself out of his nostalgia and went back to the middle of the camp.

He could see a smile pile of things, there were some clothes, cans, sprays, oil bottles, wood and all sort of things. Half of the stuff Jaime brought was useless, he felt like he should have been more specific but there was no use over spilt milk.

Soon Jaime came with an armful of leaves and dropped it into the pile.

"So? Talk! Why did you even want all this stuff anyway? Also what's with al the 3 months stuff?" The moment she appeared Jaime bombarded him with questions and he got the urge to immediately leave this place.

"First things first, I changed the deal with the deities right? I kinda added another clause in case of emergencies. I could talk to them whenever I want so just now I was talking to them. They explained to me my situation, seems like I went through a minor awakening so my body healed itself. They also said that I should meet Udcek's avatar in 3 months seems like something has changed and he will appear sooner. That was about it?" Linri decided against telling her the whole truth as it would be too troublesome, aside from other reasons like her stopping from going to the temple.

"Really? What about your state then? Why did you seem like you were attacked?"

"Oh that! Haha, it's kinda embarrassing actually. I was kinda hungry so I ate all my food, it was not enough so I hunted a jaguar or something and ate its meat." He was scratching his head innocently like what he had done was as simple as taking a walk.

"You! You! ARE YOU CRAZY!!! Why didn't you ask me for it? I could have given you some!" She was furious, Linri could almost see flames appearing behind her. He wondered if he could manipulate them. He let go of his distracting thoughts, he needed to diffuse the situation otherwise it was gonna be bad for him.

"Who said I didn't? I asked you for some but you just gave so little that it was not even enough to fill the gaps of my teeth. I thought about raiding your tent but I would have probably 'eaten' more than your food." Linri had a devilish smile on his face. With his damp white hair, azure blue eyes, his wicked smile and his attire he was the definition of a 'bad boy'.

His smile had caused Jaime's heart to skip a beat. Linri was handsome before but after his minor awakening he seemed more mature, more handsome. He had lost his childish looks and he seemed like a young adult even though he was only 15. With just this smile of his, he could have possibly cause some girls to go crazy and Jaime was no exception.

Jaime had a slight blush on her fair skin and looked at him with her moist eyes. She unconsciously licked her lips which seemed flirtatious. Then she got out of her daze and averted her eyes. Seeing that reaction Linri knew he averted his predicament but that was really dangerous. He knew that it was wrong to play with her feelings like that but he did so anyway. Even though he knew what he was doing seeing Jaime like that was dangerous for him. She really was a world class beauty. He took a mental note to stop teasing for a while as otherwise something he never intended might happen.

"Any-anyway why did you ask for this stuff?" Jaime was fidgeting which made her seem like a high school girl in love.

"How about we eat first? I am starving, I will explain to you while eating" Linri looked at the leftover meat from yesterday and his stomach growled.

"*Giggle* Sure"
