151 Jin or Soul IV or Lawrence

Sunday Morning

Tomorrow was going to be the start of The Game event, so they were going to break into Ms. Snow's room tonight. A couple of days ago, Hayato set down a hidden camera in the Teacher's Hall to observe Snow's daily program. Every night, at 12 AM sharp, she would leave her room to go somewhere and she would return at 4 AM: that explains the dark circles under her eyes. Linri guessed that she was probably building her nuclear bomb under the school in secret, or she might just have been experimenting in her own lab since she didn't hide the fact she left her room in the first place. That was a tricky conundrum, but at least they found the time frame they were going to break in and that was what mattered.

He was free for the day. Normally, he would go to the city center and have fun, but, after yesterday's events, he didn't feel like it. Izaya(?), who wasn't even given a real name by Trumpet or Linri, was an unknown. It was alright to use him as a throwaway NPC during the club, but, now that this world turned into reality, he became dangerous.

He was especially wondering from whom he learnt Linri and Luke's identities. Aside from that, where did he get the guts to have them captured? When they beat him yesterday, Linri didn't feel anything special about the guy. He shouldn't be an ability holder, so that means he was working for someone. Unlike the Izaya from Drrrrr!!!!, he was quite dumb. Did he really think that he would get away scot-free for kidnapping them?

Linri frowned. That shouldn't be it. Even your average Joe could tell that it was a dumb idea, so he must have some sort of guarantee that ensured his safety. The question was if it was a person or an item?

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Linri went to open the door. It must have been Riku who forgot his keys or something.

"Morning," said Kris as he came inside the room along with all the other transmigrators in the school.

"Yeah, come on in! No need to ask for my opinion or anything!" Linri said in a sarcastic way.

"It's not like you had anything better to do, right?" Drake said as he made himself comfortable on Linri's bed.

"We were going to have a gathering and decided it would be best if we held it here," said Kou in a polite manner.

"What? Couldn't you just RSVP?"

"Would you have joined if we did?" said Kris.

"No!"

"See, all the more reason we gather here," said Kris while putting his arm around Linri's shoulder before Linri pushed it away.

"What's the deal? Are you guys worried about the event tomorrow?" Linri said as he pulled up a chair to sit.

"Obviously," said Jaime. Linri looked at her for a second and then looked away. His heart hurt the more he saw her face.

That was when Linri focused on the guy with a sleeveless purple hoodie. His name should be Jin, the only other transmigrator he hadn't met yet. His bangs were black while the rest of his hair was white, which was already a weird hair color for sure, but it was, even more weirdly, actually all-natural. If Linri was not wrong, the white part of his hair should be a result of him overusing his ability in the past.

Jin was also looking at him silently. His gaze was cold and contained a little bit of hostility? That was weird, this should be the first time they met face to face. He couldn't really be called friends with Soul IV, but he didn't remember offending in any way when they RPed in the club. He was an American, so they didn't really RP much together either.

"You guys haven't met yet, right? This is Jin, or Soul IV, or Lawrence. Whatever you want to call him. And Jin, this is Linri, or Kasaix, or Max: again whatever you want to call him" Kris introduced the two to each other.

As a sign of courtesy Linri reached out his hand, yet Jin looked at his hand then turned his hand. Linri's mouth twitched. Look here you little shit! He was trying to be civil alright!? Who the fuck do you think you are to-

"Okay, now that introductions are out of the way, let's talk about tomorrow's event. Do you think you will participate?"

"I will. I participated during the club and I also plan to do the same here" said Linri matter of factly.

"Praise the Sun! My glorious self also plans to join the event" said Rondo in his arrogant tone. When Linri looked at him, he felt the same bloodlust he did back at the Old Pervert Richard's office. He really wanted to tear him from bits to bits. The silver serpent bracelet on his arm started to give the eerie red light again and Linri put his hand behind him to hide it, but this didn't escape Kris' secondary [Living Computer].

"Are you sure? I thought you guys would prioritize self-protection above else," said Linri in his trademarked sarcastic manner.

"What? Are you the only one who is allowed to put his life into danger?" Jaime quipped back.

"Who said anything about putting myself into danger? I am winning that thing," Linri said as he reclined on his chair with an arrogant smirk.

"So you have a plan then?" asked Fosse.

"When have I never had a plan?"

"So what is it?" Kou asked impatiently.

"Not telling!"

"Don't you need allies to pass the second stage safely?" asked Fosse as he frowned.

"No, that's why, if you really plan to participate, don't count on me," said Linri as he made his stance clear. He really couldn't trust this bunch of self-serving idiots. Well, there were exceptions like Kris, Kou, Drake and Jaime, but all the other people were his enemies. He didn't know the reason himself, but he wanted to kill Rondo and Jin seemed to hate him for some reason. As for Fosse, he really didn't like that blind bastard. He seemed just like himself, meaning another cunning asshole, and there was no way in hell that Linri could trust him. Heck, if another version of him appeared in front of him next second, he would probably have a fight to the death. Nothing good could ever come from himself or those alike.

"Hah! You must be an idiot if you think you could defeat this divine body," said Rondo while striking a pose.

"Do you want to take this outside, you narcissistic bitch!?" Linri got up from his chair as three [Fire Balls] appeared behind his back ready to burn Rondo into ashes. The same eerie red light started to come from his bracelet again, but this time Linri couldn't be bothered to hide it.

The people in the room became tense. Kris and Drake held back Linri while Kou and Fosse stood in front of Rondo.

"I think you guys have overstayed your welcome," said Linri as he calmed himself down.

"You are right. We can talk somewhere else... You should get that thing checked out," said Kris. He whispered the last part so only Linri heard what he said. He knew what he meant. Even an idiot could see that his outburst just now had something to do with this goddamn bracelet.

Linri only remembered a single instance where it gave off that red light aside from today. It was when he was threatening Kris' mom. However, today felt different. It felt like the bracelet itself wanted him to kill Rondo. It was either that, or his Werewolf bloodlust activated and for some reason targeted Rondo. Linri did not know how that exactly worked since he had just written it in the passing, but he might need to talk with Arkady about this. Maybe it was both? It could be that his bloodlust activated and the bracelet directed it to Rondo. Anyway, if he didn't want to be a murderer, he had better stay away from Rondo. If he was going to kill someone, he would rather it being his own decision, not some stupid bracelet's or his bloodline's!

Actually, the more he thought about it, the better Kitsunes seemed. From his Kitsune bloodline, he got his looks and ability to deceive and charm people. What did he get from his Werewolf bloodline? Just some stupid muscles and desire to kill people. Ugh! Teenager Max, what did you see in werewolves anyway? They were not cool! They were just a hindrance if you had to be one yourself!

Thank god that he was not going to stay like this for long. Just another event after The Game and he was finally going to be a Woxen! Now that was much cooler! He had to give it to the Teenager Max. The Woxen idea was pretty cool and it was the best of both worlds… Wait! Was he still going to retain the bloodlust characteristic? Linri did not remember about that. Please god! Don't let him retain it! He didn't want to be a senseless killer. Although...
