Chapter 27 - Mure

'Because of his speed and his mastery of magic, he is surely a hybrid fighter. For people like him, keeping a distance is crucial.' She thought when a magic circle appeared on top of her and at the same time lightning struck her body.

*Boom

A great flash accompanied the lightning strike and after a few seconds, Akeno could be seen dressed in her usual priestess costume while lightning crackled around her.

'More' She thought.

* Chi ~ Chi ~ Chi

The lightning multiplied around her as they danced around her body violently like a fierce beast that had been released.

Feeling the little control she had over lightning, Akeno inhaled as she tried to get used to her new power.

'Amazing…" Leo thought as he looked at Akeno.

Once she invoked the lightning, she noticed that she was losing control over them so she stopped immediately to adapt to her demonic energy.

Observing Akeno that she was getting used to her powers as a devil, Leo waited patiently for her to be ready since the purpose of this fight was for Akeno to get used to her powers.

"Prepare yourself, Leo-sama" Akeno smiled as she raised her hand to the sky.

*Flash

Immediately, numerous lightning appeared in the sky and if they headed towards Leo.

Looking at all the lightning that was heading towards him, Leo slid his hand up.

*Boom

Suddenly, the flames burst around Leo destroying the lightning that was heading towards him.

"Ara ara, Leo-sama is quite powerful" Akeno smiled as she created more lightning.

Destroying the lightning easily, Leo looked at Akeno who was ... enjoying.

'Is she already a sadist?' Leo wondered

Jumping back a little, the flames began to gather around him.

Raising his hand in front of him,

"Gokuencho" Leo whispered.

* Boom!

Leo's body radiated a terrible amount of demonic energy, the flames began to gather around him taking the form of a bird. But unlike before, the bird was smaller.

* Swoosh!

The bird flew towards Akeno destroying the lightning that was in its path.

Noting that the bird was still destroying her attacks and was heading towards her, Akeno's body blinked and quickly flew flush to the ground to avoid the bird.

Looking back, Akeno opened her eyes in disbelief when she saw the bird change its direction to her.

Since she couldn't get rid of the bird, all she could do was block its path.

Stopping, Akeno descended to the ground while bending down slightly.

Sliding her wrist across the floor, a huge magic circle appeared beneath her.

* KRR !!!

Huge pillars of ice shot out of the ground blocking the bird path.

* BOOM !!!

But before the bird collided with the ice pillars, the bird exploded destroying most of the pillars that protected Akeno.

Glancing at the pillars that were heading towards her, Akeno's body blinked as she quickly dodged the huge pillars.

Looking at the destruction caused by his attack, Leo sighed with relief. As he did not know if Akeno would be able to resist the attack that he did not know how much damage Gokuencho could cause with exactitude, he decided to detonate the bird before.

looking at the great cloud of fog, Leo tried to find Akeno's position.

Leo quickly dodged to the side avoiding the ice spear that passed by his side.

Turning his body in the direction from which the spear came, Leo shook his wrist and created several fireballs and sent them to Akeno.

Before the fireballs could reach their goal, several ice pillars blocked its path, but this time the pillars were smaller.

Feeling a fluctuation of magic, Leo looked his left and his right and noticed two lightning approaching him from the sides.

Jumping away from the range of lightning, Leo couldn't relax before another batch of lightning and ice spears headed towards him.

Turning his body, Leo created more fireballs to obstruct the rays while dodging the ice spears.

"Don't think you can hide forever" Leo shouted as he dodged the other ice spear. Grabbing the spear, Leo used the momentum of the spear to spin faster and threw it back at Akeno.

'In a confrontation, I can easily overcome her but if I only use magic, we are almost in equal terms' Leo thought to himself.

If it wasn't for his outrageous amount of magic, he would be in equal terms with Akeno or maybe she would get over it. For that reason, he decided to use the same amount of magic that Akeno used.

`It's time to end this.'

Putting his hands together, Leo opened them a few seconds later to reveal numerous fireballs shaped like birds.

[Gokuencho: Mure]

Around twenty birds flew out. All with the same goal ... Akeno.

In the meantime.

"I can't go on like this" Akeno thought as she away from Leo's position.

Although it seemed she had dominated the situation, she knew very well that Leo was holding back. Besides, since it was just a training session, it didn't matter who won or who lost, but if I had to choose ... she would rather win.

But before she could devise a strategy, her attention focused on the many red dots that were approaching her quickly.

"Eh ..." Looking at the horde of birds that were heading for her position, Akeno's complexion paled.

Instantly, a huge pillar the size of an iceberg emerged from the magic circle.

The birds did not take too long to approach the huge pillar, but unlike before, the birds did not explode.

Cutting off the ice pillar as if it were a piece of paper, the birds quickly traversed the pillar leaving a trail of flames and melted ice to theirs passed.

"Impossible ..." Akeno looked at all this terrified. The birds were not only fast but they will also follow her no matter how much she tried to flee and destroy everything that got in her way.

Clenching her teeth, Akeno established a barrier to receive the impact.

The effects of the explosion caused a disaster in the training camp. The debris flew and huge chunks of ice shot out in all directions.

"Akeno !!" Rias shouted in shock when she flew to the field in search of Akeno.

Akeno coughed while trying to stand up and check her condition.

While trying to stand up, a hand helped her up.

"Are you all right?" Leo asked as he helped Akeno up.

"I'm fine, you don't have to worry Leo-sama," Akeno said with a smile.

Although the birds easily destroyed her barrier, the damage it caused was minimal. The only thing that was damaged was her clothes that were burned in several parts and some strands of her hair.

"I'm glad" Leo smiled.

"Akeno ... Are you alright?" Rias approached the duo and looked at Akeno with concern.

"Fu fu Rias-sama I'm fine," Akeno said with a playful look.

"Akeno is not the time to play. It would be dangerous if you were not careful. And you didn't think about what would happen if Leo-san had not contained himself? Although you have great control over your magic, you still have to get used to your powers as a devil." Rias scolds Akeno.

Looking at Rias who was scolding Akeno, Leo couldn't help smiling.

Noticing Leo's gaze, Rias turned and looked at Leo.

A few hours later, Sona and Leo were ready to leave.

"Make sure you see me again," Rias said as he looked at Sona seriously.

"* Sigh * I don't think I can come back in a few days, I still have to find possible members for my nobility" Since I had received his evil pieces, Sona planned to find potential members for his nobility as soon as possible.

"Hmmm, what do you think if I'm going to visit you next week? So Akeno can adapt to her powers and be ready to learn with Leo" Rias proposed.

"What do you think of Leo?" Sona asked.

"It's fine for me." Leo saw no problem. He also wanted to learn to use lightning as soon as possible.

"Then I'll visit you next week," Rias said with a beaming smile.

After planning the next meeting, Sona and Leo left the Gremory mansion and climbed into their carriage.

"You're pretty amazing Leo-san" Sona suddenly spoke.

Surprised by his words, Leo thought for a moment and said.

"Well ... I don't think I so amazing," Leo said as he looked out the window.

'Everything that makes me special was given to me by a god ...' Leo thought as he sighed internally.
