Chapter 20 - Underworld

After Leo and Serafall left the hotel, they boarded a train to the underworld.

On the outside of the train, the only thing that could be seen as a mixture of iridescent colors.

"Surprised?" Serafall asked with a playful smile when she saw Leo look outside with interest.

"A little" Leo admitted.

"Normally we could teleport immediately but this time we can't," Serafall said as he looked at the second train car.

"Serafall-sama, we'll get to the underworld in an hour" A butler interrupted.

"Okay, keep the guests in good condition and remember that none should get out of the wagon" Serafall ordered.

The butler nodded and quickly left.

One of the reasons why Leo and Serafall were traveling by train was precisely because they had to escort the hostages to the underworld.

How they managed to kidnap all these devils from prestigious families. Leo didn't know.

Even so, most of these devils had not yet received their evil pieces so once they reach the underworld, they prepare to receive their evil pieces.

After the butler left, as they had nothing to do. Serafall and Leo were talked about trivial things to kill time.

While Serafall and Leo chatted. A voice interrupted their conversation

"Soon we will reach the Sitri clan" The voice informed from the interlocutor.

"We're here," Serafall said as he made a small jump.

"Now. I welcome you to the Sitri clan." She smiled and gestured toward the window.

A mass of clouds separated to reveal numerous hexagonal fields, lakes, and mountains as far as the eye could see.

Unlike other territories, the territory of Sitri was known for its natural reserves and is said to have most of the natural reserves present among the few territories of the other clans.

The Sitri clan was also known for being one of the few territories that have advanced medical facilities with one of the most famous hospitals in the underworld.

"Soon we will arrive at the terminal and there is where the hostages will stay. I will leave the hostages and I'll be right back. So wait for me here until I come back" Serafall said before they reached the terminal.

"No problem," Leo nodded.

Upon arriving at the terminal, Leo looked outside with interest. It was something similar to a giant palace that had banners hanging on the sides. Also, it had multiple tracks where trains were parked while the devils entered and exited.

In the middle, a giant tower connected the other buildings with bridges for easy access.

Naturally, the largest tower would have the largest flag, showing the emblem of the Sitri family. The emblem consisted of a kind of necklace enclosed in a circular shape, both blue.

Once they were at the terminal, several devils uniformed approached to the hostages.

"All of you follow me. I will take you to another place to divide you into your respective groups to be examined," said one man as he wrote on a form.

"Excuse me, we have been examined before coming, why do we have to be examined again?" Asked a young man.

the man didn't bother to look at him and without taking his eyes off his form he replied.

"The exams that were done before coming were to verify the condition of your bodies, now we will examine them more thoroughly," Said the man.

"Any more questions?" The man asked.

Seeing that no one spoke, the man left with a group of people.

"I'll be right back Leo-chan," Serafall said as she followed the group.

After she left, only Leo remained on the train.

About fifteen minutes later, Serafall returned to the train.

"Everything is already fixed, I will show you where you will stay Leo-chan" Serafall smiled and grabbed Leo by the hand.

Upon leaving the terminal, Serafall along the way presented him with the most famous places of the Sitri clan until he reached his home.

How they flew, they didn't take long to get to the Sitri residence.

Once they arrived, Serafall gave him a brief tour of the mansion while explaining that they were the different places of the mansion.

"You are free to visit most of the rooms in the mansion. As for the one in the center of the mansion, that's something you can't know" Serafall said with a smile.

"Okay" Leo nodded in compression.

Taking Leo to one of the many rooms in the mansion, Serafall knocked on the door softly.

After a few moments, a voice rang from the room.

"I don't see why you have to touch, Oneechan. You never do"

When she heard the voice, Serafall smiled and entered the room.

"Jeje... but this time is different because I bring visit Sona-chan," Serafall said with a smile.

Upon entering the room, Leo could see a double bed, a large desk and a door that led to what appeared to be a garden. But what attracted the most attention was the person sitting at the desk.

Short black hair that reached her shoulders and violet eyes, that was Sona Sitri, the next heiress of the Sitri clan.

After a few moments, Leo realized that she was not wearing her characteristic glasses.

'It must be because she is still young. In any case, is it necessary for her to wear glasses in the future? She's supposed to be a devil, shouldn't she be able to see well?… wait, it's not time to be thinking about that.' Leo thought to himself as he scolded himself internally.

"And he is?" Sona asked as she was curious about who her sister had brought.

Before Serafall had time to respond, Leo stepped forward.

"I am Tomika Leo, a friend of your sister. You must be Sona, right? Your sister has told me a lot about you." Leo said with a smile.

"Onee-san, you should stop that habit of talking to strangers about me" Sona rebuked her sister while massaging her temple.

"Leo-san, I'm sorry for the inconvenience my sister has caused you. Sometimes she is ... as I say "Unique" would be the right word" Sona says while leaning slightly.

"Sona-chan, you shouldn't talk like that about your sister. With so much that I love you" Serafall says while pouting.

"So, why is your visit Onee-san? You were supposed to be working in the human world. Don't tell me you ran away from your job again" Sona says changing the subject.

"¡Of course not!" Exclaimed Serafall.

"I have already finished the issues that I had to solve in the human world. This time I have come for your ceremony Sona-chan and..."

Before Serafall could continue, she was interrupted by a maid.

"Serafall-sama, were you calling me?"

Seeing the maid, Serafall smiled.

"Linet-chan, you're finally here. Take Leo to his room," Serafall ordered.

"As you order"

Finishing speaking, the maid looked at Leo before leaving the room.

Serafall seeing that Leo did not move, she urged.

"What are you waiting for Leo-chan? first, go see your room and then you can come to play with Sona-chan"

Leo looked at Serafall before following Linet.

'I've been with her to the mansion so when did she call her?' Leo thought to himself.

After Leo left, Sona looked at her sister.

"Onee-san, who is he?" Sona asked with intrigue.

"He is someone I found in the human world. Although he is not a Devil, he is at the level of a high-class Devil," Serafall says as she sits down.

"Sona-chan, have you already chosen who will be part of your evil pieces?" Serafall asked.

Surprised by her question, Sona thought for a moment and answered.

"I already have a candidate in mind. her name is Tsubaki Shinra. she has a special quality of calling abnormal beings through a mirror. "

"So that's what you've brought Leo-san for," Sona added when she discovered what her sister was thinking.

"Sigh ... I can't hide anything from you," Serafall said with a sigh.

"I have known Leo for several years. At first, I intended him to be part of my team, but he refused. So I decided to bring it for you to try to take it to your team"

"If he didn't want to be part of your team, why would he want to be part of mine? according to what you have told me, he may be stronger than me" Sona said.

"Right now I don't have time for these matters, the delivery ceremony will be next week and I still have to deal with my commitment" Sona added with a sigh.

Serafall, seeing her sister could not help her heartache. Sona was still young but there wasn't a trace of immaturity in her.

Since she taking office as Leviathan, her sister held the position of the heiress of the Sitri clan and was strictly educated from an early age to occupy the position of heiress and at that same time, her parents decided on a compromise which she was forced to accept.

As an older sister, she wanted the best for her sister but her position did not allow her to intervene in the affairs of the Sitri clan so she could only see how her sister was forced into a commitment that she did not accept, without being able to do anything.

Sighing, Serafall looked at his sister and said softly.

"Do not worry, even if it is necessary to leave my position as a leviathan, I will not let you marry against your will," Serafall said as the ice spread across the room.

Looking at her sister, Sona felt warmth in her heart. She knew that her sister loved her very much and had not objected to her commitment because she hoped to find another solution, but she knew better than anyone that if the commitment was made, her sister would not stay idly by.
