Chapter 68

“Your Excellency…?”

Lloyd called Cassian, asking if I had just heard correctly. However, he called Lumiere’s name once more without answering.

“Lumiere.”

“Yes, Cassian. It’s me.”

She smiled with a shocked expression on her face.

Lloyd’s expression became serious at the strange situation. He looked at the bottle that Cassian had drank.

A question appeared on his face as to what the hell was that.

Cassian grinned and raised his hand, clasping Lumiere’s cheek, and lowered his head. Seeing that, Lumiere’s eyelashes trembled, and then the green eyes shut.

Lloyd was terrified and called Cassian.

“Your Excellency…..!”

He raised his hand to stop Lloyd, before spreading his palms out.

As Lloyd grimaced, he tilted his head as he looked at the hand in front of him. With a stern expression on his face, he took up Cassian’s sword and put it in his hand.

Cassian took the sword, raised his body, and released the hand holding her cheek.

Seeing her closing her eyes as if asking for a kiss, his anger grew. He didn’t know if it was mental magic or black magic. If there was another problem, he didn’t want to know.

What was certain was that the potion did not work for him.

A cool blade slid across Lumiere’s neck.

“Lady, do you have any last words you want to say?”

“…Yes?”

Lumiere raised her eyelids and asked with a puzzled face.

On the other hand, Lloyd made an incomprehensible face and then brushed his chest away.

Cassian said, revealing his disgusted feelings. “Now that our deal is over, there’s no reason for me to look after Lady.”

“Nonsense…”

Cassian said with a cold face, clutching the empty bottle.

“I think I know roughly what kind of potion it is. I feel very dirty.”

He pondered whether or not to cut Lumiere off. Here, his heart was like a chimney, wanting to cut it down at once, although Elysia might not be in the place she was talking about because Peloit may have moved.

At first, it felt like he should keep her alive.

Lumiere stared at Cassian with a blank expression on her face and screamed at him.

“Lies! Say you love me quickly. Don’t do this, please.”

Tears filled the green eyes.

She looked at him with earnest eyes. As if waiting for her name to be called again.

“Noisy. Lock her up in an outhouse.”

“Understood.”

“Lloyd. You stay here so I can call you right away if anything happens.”

Saying so, he eventually left the basement to go to Lowell’s estate.

Cassian may appear calm on the outside, but on the inside, he was not. His desire for Elysia to be there filled his mind.

…May she remains in good health and unharmed.

If she comes back to him and complains about why he was so late, he’ll beg and beg for being sorry for not finding her sooner… He’ll get down on his knees, let her hit him, whatever resentment, as long as she just stays safe and secure.

Cassian’s hand trembled as he gripped the reins in his nervous heart.

Growing up in a former possession facility, she had lost her reason only once.

It was a necessary process for young vampires to experience what would happen if they did not drink blood. When she felt it was getting harder to move her body as she wanted, Elysia applied strength to her wrist and pulled the chain in the opposite direction.

Even if she couldn’t loosen the restraints, she could move her body once she broke the chain.

‘Wrist…. Will it break?’

It was scary, but what can she do?

At least, it was possible because Peloit didn’t know her well.

Blood gushed out of her biting lip, and blood spurted from her thighs as her body became too forceful. At the same time, the chain broke and the body rolled down the bed in the recoil.

Elysia immediately called the cat.

“Der…!”

She then crawled on the floor and hugged Der.

From the first day she was imprisoned here, Der had been asleep without a move.

She didn’t know what the principle was, although it seemed to be because of the black magic over the pattern on the wrist.

Thinking so, she untied the hair ties and tied the wounds on her thighs. It was increasingly difficult for her to hold onto her mind. She struggled to get her body up and walk towards the door.

As she watched the maid open and closed the door herself before, there seemed to be no special action on the door. Of course, Peloit might have done something the last time he went out.

Elysia grabbed her staggering body and grabbed the doorknob.

“What kind of stairs… Haa—”

Elysia sighed as she looked at the endless staircase.

‘Oh, my gosh. When will she be able to go down with all of this?’

Still, she took off her shoes and put on only her stockings before starting to go down the stairs. Her vision was increasingly blurred, and she felt blood dripping from her wounds.

She regretted not stabbing her arm as she watched the blood seeping over the skirt of her dress. Scared to think that she was lucky that no one was in front of her, a cold voice came from behind her back.

“Where are you going like that?”

Elysia immediately backed away, though she couldn’t avoid his touch as she walked down the narrow stairs.

She didn’t know if she had stumbled upon him, or if he was supposedly signaled when she left the room. Right now, she could only feel that she now had no time to think about what she would do.

Elysia hurriedly put down Der and took out the piece of glass that she had kept inside her sleeve.

And, she pressed it against her neck.

“Stand back.”

If Peloit came a little closer, it seemed that she would immediately lose her reason.

She could feel the fangs showing through the inside of her lips at the scent still slowly wafting through her.

‘No. Not here, please…’

Because she came this far, Elysia exaggerated herself and raised the corners of her lips as if she was calm.

She could see Peloit taking a step back.

“It’s really beautiful.”

“…What?”

“I want to hug you right now.”

…Really crazy.

For the first time, Elysia became afraid of Peloit.

Of course, she did this because she was afraid that it would not work to threaten him with his own life if Peloit really had a heart for her. But rather, the action seemed to have touched a certain switch.

She saw Peloit lick his lips with his tongue and tilt his head. Elysia gave more strength to her hand, which was holding the piece of glass.

Tears welled up, her vision blurred, and she blinked quickly.

“If you don’t let me go, I’ll die.”

“I’m the only one who can injure that body. I can’t allow that.”

Elysia realized that Peloit had taken a step back, but it wasn’t because of what she said… He just stepped back to appreciate her.

Even at this moment, his gaze was scanning all over her body. The expression on his face was representative of his mood now.

Peloit’s eyes lit up for an instant, and he stepped forward.

His pulse rang in her ears, and his scent lingered on the tip of her nose. At the moment Elysia lost her reason, she closed her eyes tightly to Cassian’s face that came to mind.

She expected it to be like this, though she seemed to go crazy when it happened.

‘Please, don’t do anything more than suck blood.’

It would have been better for Peloit to try to kill her. Her red eyes flickered in focus, and she took a step towards him.

“So put that down… Uhk.”

Elysia raised the corners of her lips and shoved him against the wall. He looked at Elysia with a puzzled look on his face, ripping his shirt off and stroking his body.

“You haven’t taken any potion yet. What is this… Lady?”

Elysia buried her face in Peloit’s nape and opened her lips.

The feeling of piercing his skin with a sharp object was unmistakable.

He was stunned for a moment before he realized that Elysia was drinking his blood.

“Ah, you are really… Haaa. I don’t know how you exceed expectations every time.”

From the moment he found out she was dealing with a guardian, he realized that she wasn’t normal, what the hell is this?

Was the being in front of him a human being…?

Peloit felt his body heat up and reached out his hand and hugged Elysia tightly. She couldn’t shake the hand stroking her waist, and Peloit gave his neck to her, soaking in the feelings.

However, the excitement didn’t last long.

Feeling dizzy, he pushed her down.

The problem was that Elysia’s power was so much stronger than he thought, and he couldn’t push her away, and she didn’t seem willing to take her lips off him. Because of such problems, instead of a sense of crisis, the exhilarating ecstasy filled him.

“With you, I don’t think I need anything else.”

He thought of Elysia sitting on the throne with her beautiful figure and looking down at everyone.

It was a scene he hadn’t thought of at all, but he didn’t think there was a better place for Elysia than that.

He whispered to her that he would put her on the highest place.

And, while he felt dizzy, he laughed like a madman before tangling his fingers in Elysia’s hair and whispered in her ear.

“I love you. Haa—but…..you should stop drinking after that. I don’t think I can stand it.”

Peloit raised his magic.

He pushed Elysia away and bound her to immobilize her.

Even though she looked dissatisfied that he had interrupted her meal, Peloit looked at her as if she was adorable. He rummaged through his arms and pulled out a bottle of pink liquid.

“Your husband seemed to be coming, but this is what it is. It’s going to be fun.”

He then gently squeezed Elysia’s chin and pressed it down.

As he tried to bring the bottle to her mouth, she turned her head, and it seemed that he had no choice but to feed her himself.

Peloit poured the liquid into his mouth and placed his lips on Elysia.

The sound of Elysia swallowing the liquid could be heard in his ears. Peloit, who was stroking her hair with a well-behaved face, hurriedly pushed her away as he felt the bite on his lower lip.

He wanted to give something away, but not now…

They had to get out of the place before Cassian came, but it took a lot longer than expected.

Things could go wrong so they had to hurry.

With that thought, he hugged Elysia and started going down the stairs.

Not long ago, he had disabled all types of movement magic inside the tower, which ended up binding his own ankles. Perhaps, it was his fault for giving her a lot of blood. His brow furrowed, thinking that he would have no chance of winning if he met Cassian.

Well, he didn’t think it would be a problem if she was by his side.

He hoped Elysia would wake up and see him clearly.

Peloit couldn’t even imagine how she would feel as he moved his steps with excitement.
