Ning Ruxing stepped forward and helped Jin Yebei take off his coat. As she did so, Ning Ruxing caught a whiff of his fragrance. She couldn’t tell what it reminded her of but it was a very comforting fragrance. Ning Ruxing hung his coat on the clothes rack and noticed that Jin Yebei was still wearing the same white shirt as yesterday. It vaguely showed his muscles as Jin Yebei picked up the phone on the table.

“Lisa, come over and assist Ning Ruxing in her internship confirmation.”

As soon as he hung up the phone, a woman in her thirties came in. She was surprised to see Ning Ruxing. Although she had been interviewed yesterday, the Chairman of the Board of Directors had not said that he wanted to hire Ning Ruxing. And now, here the candidate was, arriving for work all of a sudden. Regardless, Lisa smiled professionally and said, “Miss Ning, your work desk has been arranged. Please follow me.”

Jin Yebei frowned. Assistants usually sat in a separate office. But Ning Ruxing was different from the others. He had already decided that she would be his wife a long time ago. If she were to sit away from him, what if someone comes and steals her from him? How could he allow her to sit separately from him? When Lisa heard this, she looked at Ning Ruxing. If all the assistants worked in the chairman’s office, Lisa would have won over the chairman long ago. Why would there be a new assistant, then? What was so good about this little girl?! Lisa’s face was already much colder than before, the smile on her face gone.

“No, they don’t!”

When Ning Ruxing heard this, she was even more puzzled. Since no one else had been given such an arrangement, why did she have to be in the chairman’s office? Ning Ruxing didn’t ask any further and continued to fill in the form with her head down. Chairman Jin didn’t seem to be a bad person so there shouldn’t be any problems.
