“The weather is so nice these days. Shall we go on a boat trip? Jennan, do you want to come with me?”

The first person to respond was the Marchioness  De Bellet.

Then, Jennan replied that he liked the idea and suggested Yernia go with them.

The Marquess De Bellet looked dissatisfied, but Yernia didn’t bother asking her if she was alright with it.

However, she got surprised when Cassian accepted the offer.

That’s how the four of them made the travel appointment as per Yernia’s suggestion.

In addition to that, no one knew that Vihani, who cried in front of Cassian at the wedding hall in the past, was attending the same trip.

It turned out she was Marchioness De Bellet’s friend.

Yernia had pointed that out loud but for some reason, it made Mrs. De Bellet look troubled.

She said that Vihani had followed her recklessly and Yernia had no way to affirm it.

“What are you doing?”

Vihani spoke to Cassian informally.

Yernia thought it was strange because she was the only one who could speak informally to him from the moment she saw him.

“Have you seen something funny? Why are you all standing together like that?”

No one replied.

Cassian simply ignored her.

Jennan also ignored her because she was a stranger.

Yernia wasn’t in the mood to answer, either.

She was here because of Cassian.

No.

It appeared like this girl was aware of Cassian’s every move.

“The sun is too hot.”

Cassian turned  to Yernia and covered her forehead with his hand.

Completely ignored by the one she’s interested in, Vihani bit her lip.

“Are you thirsty, Yernia? Should I bring you some juice?”

Even so, Cassian had no idea what was wrong with Jennan.

Was he trying to compete with him for Yernia’s attention or something?

“I’m done with the both of you,” Yernia murmured in disappointment.

‘Why were they blocking her sunlight now?’

Her thoughts had upset her and she tried her best not to cry.

She was so conscious of being conscious of Cassian’s actions that it kept her wondering all day long.

The passengers in Cassian’s private ship were Cassian, Yernia, Jennan, Marchioness De Bellet, and Vihani.

Yernia glanced at Jennan being affectionate with the Marchioness de Bellet.

She found it strange to see the two feeding each other with fruits while laughing simultaneously.

It feel like she had witnessed something she shouldn’t have.

“Lady Yernia.”

Cassian’s ship seemed pretty quiet despite the live band performing for them at the side.

It was inevitable since they were just a few of them in the first place.

After interacting with Marquis de Bellet, Jennan visited Yernia’s table.

She had a hunch that he was about to ask her to dance.

Yernia had no idea why Jennan would do that when he should have invited Marchioness De Bellet to dance first.

But if her quick prediction came true, she would simply accept Jennan’s invitation. The passengers in Cassian’s private ship were Cassian, Yernia, Jennan, Marchioness De Bellet and Vihani.

Yernia would dance and shake off her boredom on this lone ship floating in the sea.

“Yernia.”

Yernia saw Cassian—-who just came out of their cabin after changing clothes—-approaching her at the same time Jennan did.

Both of their hands stretched out to her in unison.

“Dance with me, Yernia.”

“Will you give me a chance to dance with you, Yernia?”

Yernia glanced at the white-gloved hand and the hand without anything on it.

Jennan wore the gloves which Yernia had seen Marchioness De Bellet give him as a gift.

She witnessed her take it out of the box earlier.

“I’m not in the mood to dance.”

“That’s why you have to dance. Why are you in a bad mood, anyway?”

She was in a bad mood because of him.

Cassian, who still hadn’t realized what was wrong with her, was on fire.

Was she nervous at the thought of him kissing her in front of these people?

Well, Cassian couldn’t really blame her because he knew she was too old-fashioned to care so much about it.

“Both of you should dance with someone else.”

Yernia waved her hand in dismissal.

Besides her, two other women would have loved to dance with them.

Jennan should dance with Marchioness de Bellet and Cassian should ask Vihani, instead.

“If you dance with me once, I won’t bother you anymore.” Cassian’s suggested sweetly.

Yernia was tired of the fight between the two of them from morning until now.

She had no idea what they were fighting about in the first place.

“Well, as expected.”

As Yernia held Cassian’s warm hand, he smirked in satisfaction.

“Just one song.”

“Yes, come here.”

Feeling bad, Jennan gave her an awkward smile.

He looked bothered when he returned to the Marchioness de Bellet.

Cassian caught Yernia’s waist as soon as he saw her pay attention to the opera singer.

“You should focus on me, Yena. We were supposed to dance.”

“I won’t step on your feet, so don’t worry.”

“I would feel even better if you step on me.”
