60 Hunting 101

I walk a few yards into the woods and sit down, enjoying the way the sunlight breaks through the trees above. I really do enjoy being in this form... I raise my head and close my eyes, enjoying the slight breeze.

"Ready?" Kian asks making me jump! I turn around to see him in a dark green suit made for hunting with his long white hair braided back into a high ponytail. He seriously doesn't look real... And how did he manage to sneak up on me without me hearing anything!?

He walks over and touches my thick but soft fur as he says "Let's get you something to eat." As he starts to walk, I see a bow and arrow strapped to his muscular back. I'm already regretting this... Can they just let me eat normally?

Why do we have to go kill it ourselves?? I hang my head and drag my paws in unwillingness as I follow behind him. Almost an hour later, I find looking at Kian's ass is making me hungrier. I shake my head and focus as we continue to walk but I was seriously starting to lose it. His ass is yummy, yes, but it was starting to make my mouth drool in the wrong way.

I've never been so hungry in this form before... I growl in annoyance, instantly making him turn to look at me in question. I plop my butt down and bare my teeth at him as my long tail swishes back and forth in irritation. 'I want to eat, now!' I demand with my eyes.

He frowns a little before giving me a breathtaking grin and saying "I know you're hungry but the larger animals are deeper into the woods. Do you want to take a break and see if you can sniff out anything around here?"

I give him a blank look before lifting a paw and pointing it to myself. He watches me with a smile in his beautiful eyes and nods his head 'yes' as he says "Yes, you. You can do it. I believe in you." I snort in disbelief as I slowly stand up, dragging my paws as I try to "sniff something out".

I walk a few feet away before coming to a stop and turning to look behind me. He watches me with his arms crossed and a large, encouraging smile on his handsome face. I sigh and turn back around, slowly lifting my head while closing my eyes.

This can't be too hard, right? I sniff a few times and suddenly pick up a faint smell coming from further away. I focus on the scent and begin tracking it. I'm not sure what it is but I'm fairly certain it's a smaller animal of some kind.

As I walk further into the woods, through some bushes and other questionable things, the scent is finally stronger! I become excited and begin to quicken my pace. I'm doing it! I'm really doing it!! As I come upon the critter, I slow my pace and use caution as I approach the bush it's currently hiding in.

I don't make a single noise as my entire body gets ready to pounce on it. I inch closer and closer... as I slowly slip into the bush... I'm suddenly roaring in pain!! I jump back with a face full of needles as a large porcupine takes off running.

Ow ow ow!! I try to rub them off my face but they are in there good and I'm currently lacking thumbs!! My eyes water as I look towards the escaping porcupine. If I was in my human form I would've zapped that little prick!!

I roar in anger and go to chase after the thing when Kian suddenly appears before me with a look of concern. "Eris! Are you... Oh no." I try to lean to the side to find the porcupine but the little thing was fast!

"Hold still. I'll pull them out for you." He says kneeling down in front of me. I plop my butt down with a huff and pout. This is why I just wanted to buy my food! This is stupid... this whole thing is stupid!

He pulls the first quill out and it causes me to yelp! I growl at him, face full of needles and all but all he does is roll his eyes and say "Why would you go and mess with a porcupine? It's literally covered in sharp needles."

I glare at him and give him my best 'Does it look like I knew what was hiding in the bush?' and 'Do I look like that big of an idiot!?' but he ignores my look and continues to pull out the quills. After removing all ten of them, I was finally free.

Before I even realize what I'm doing, I start licking my paw and rubbing it down my face, effectively cleaning the little blood left over. When I look up, I find Kian watching me with a small smile. "Feeling better?"

I bare my teeth at him again and start walking. It doesn't take long before he's walking beside me as we make our way further into the woods. I'm sure we're a sight to see right now. He's a male elf who doesn't even look real walking next to a majestic Snow Leopard...Yes, I said majestic.

My hunger was really starting to go to my head... As we reach a small creek, he quickly looks around as he says "Let's take a break here before moving in further. We have about three more hours of light."

I want to complain but I'm currently lacking a mouth so I settle for glaring at him in disapproval as I walk over to the water. He either doesn't understand the glare or he just doesn't care...

I stop by the running water and slowly lower myself after looking around for any predators. I lick up the water and instantly feel relief. It's cool and refreshing... When I hear water splashing, I turn to find Kian crouched by the water, lifting a handful of water to his mouth.

Suddenly, I feel really thirsty... especially with the water dripping down his jaw...
