I quickly crawl back and away from his legs before standing on my own shaky legs. I look over to the high priestess' body and realize that she's dead. Where the hell are all the other witches? As if reading my thoughts, the demon stands up and says "The others were all killed to summon the other demons."

I turn to look at him and ask "How many demons were summoned?" He smirks at me and shrugs as he looks around the greeting room with a bored look. Were the other two witches fake? An illusion? I want to smack him straight out of Xander's body but instead, I grit my teeth and ask "How do I get your body?"

His eyes light up with delight as he turns to me with a wide smile and says "I thought you'd never ask! We just need to go to the oldest cemetery around and once we're there, I'll do the rest." I narrow my eyes at him and say "That doesn't sound suspicious at all..."

The demon smirks and says "It's up to you. I don't mind staying in this body... it's not bad." I grit my teeth as I say "Give me some type of guarantee. Your word or something, that if I get your body for you, you'll leave his body."

The demon watches me closely before slowly nodding and saying "Okay" He cuts his palm and holds his hand out to me with a straight face. "A blood promise," he says with that same serious face.

I wonder again for the hundredth time, if what I'm doing is right or not as I cut my palm and take his hand. My palm starts to burn as I bite my lip to keep from crying out but the pain makes me lightheaded.

As my knees give out, he pulls me to him and holds me against his chest as he says "Don't worry, dollface. I won't let you fall on my watch." I look into his dark red eyes with conflicting emotions. He looks like Xander but I can feel how different he really is...

"What's your name?" I ask in a whisper as I continue to look up at him. He watches my eyes as he says "Kian" Something deep inside me shifts at the name but I quickly push away from him when I realize the burning on my palm has stopped.

I look down at my palm and see a black marking of some kind as Kian says "Shall we go?" I nervously swallow and say "After I burn this place down." He arches a dark eyebrow at me as I walk over to the wall and set it on fire.

This place was basically a portal to the underworld and I need to put an end to it. I don't want anything else coming through these portals even if I did come too late. As I walk out of the room, Kian follows me out with an amused smile on his face. Well... Xander's face.

As we make it back to the Range Rover, I stop to look back at the burning house and make sure that my wards are in place. I don't want the fire spreading and I don't want humans to see the fire and try to put it out.

Once I know everything is indeed in place, I turn back to the car and wait. Kian looks at me in confusion before pointing to himself in question. I sigh and walk back over to him, digging into his front pocket and pulling out the keys all while he watches with a smirk.

I walk over to the driver's door and get in. He quickly walks over to the other side and climbs in with amusement. I sigh and ask "Have you ever been on earth?" He slowly nods and says "Once... a very long time ago."

I sigh again and show him how to buckle in so he doesn't kill Xander. Instead of going back home, I go to the largest and oldest cemetery and pull up with a sigh. It was now two in the morning and I was beyond tired.

Why does everything keep going wrong? As I turn the engine off, I turn to find Kian watching me with a blank look. I blink a few times and ask "What?" He shrugs and asks "Is this it?" I nod and hop out of the Range Rover.

Kian follows me and says "Once inside, don't speak." I stop to look at him but he just keeps walking and walks straight past me without saying another word so I sigh and follow him in silence. After several minutes, I expect to find a large grave or something but he stops next to a large tree.

Confused, I almost ask him what he's doing before I remember not to say anything. I'm doing this to get Xander back... doing this to get Xander back... Suddenly, a cold breeze moves past me, instantly making me shudder as I look up and see several spirits watching us from a distance.

I sigh and sit down on the ground as I look back to Kian. Only to see him still staring at the old tree like he's trying to memorize every piece of bark on it. Suddenly, he disappears! I jump up and run over to the tree and start looking around like an idiot.

Had he tricked me!? Oh no... what if he kills Xander!?? I start to panic even more as time continues to pass without any signs of him. I pace back and forth in front of the tree before walking circles around it. I want to call out for him but his words from earlier stop me.

The spirits are still standing in the distance, silently watching so I try to calm myself. He's still okay... Kian's gonna come back... I look down at my palm and nervously lick my lips. He's got to... When I hear a noise, I look up to see a man throw Xander... Kian... I don't even know at this point, down on the ground.

The man's in a solid black suit but I can't really make out his face as I ease over to Xander. "Let's go, dollface." The man says picking Xander back up and throwing him over his shoulder like he weighs nothing! I sigh in relief and follow him back to the vehicle, all while trying to get a better look at him.

When we finally make it back, the dim lights from the parking lot makes it to where I can finally see his face. He couldn't be real... I stop dead in my tracks and watch as he throws Xander's limp body into the back seat before turning to look at me.

He straightens his suit and locks eyes with me over the hood of the Range Rover. Same dark red eyes but he looks like a dark demi-god... he looks like... "An angel? Or should I say a fallen angel?" He says with a dark smirk.
