When I pull the car in, the house lights turn on, including the porch lights. Harris slowly stands up and glares at me as I get out of the car with all my goodies. I kick my car door shut and walk over saying "What can I do for you, Harris? Isn't it a little late to be doing house calls?"

I know why he's here but as always, deny deny deny. He continues to glare as he says "I was waiting for you, Hallows. You seem to be mighty busy lately." I walk up to my door and smile when the house unlocks it and swings it open.

Harris jumps back and reaches for his gun before mumbling about haunted and cursed houses. I smirk and walk in as I say "Come on in, Harris." He grunts and cautiously walks in but when the house slams the door shut behind him, he nearly jumps out of his shoes.

I bit my lip to keep from laughing as I place my loot onto the dining room table. I turn around to see him looking around my house with interest but he keeps his mouth shut. This is the first time he's ever been in my house.

He's slightly older but you can see he takes care of himself. If anything... he kinda reminds me of what a father would have been like. I lean against the table and ask "So, what brings you here?" He clears his throat and walks over to me asking "What did you say you were doing in the park again?"

I pretend to think and tap my chin before saying "I went for a walk. I love when it rains and thought it'd be nice to take a stroll." He hmphs at me and narrows his eyes before pulling out my charm. Identical to the one I'm currently wearing around my neck.

I make a surprised face and say "You found it! Oh, thank goodness. I slipped and lost it that night." He gives me a knowing look before tossing it to me. I catch it with ease and place it in my back pocket as he says "Look, let's cut the bullshit. We both know you weren't there for a 'stroll'. Every time there's a mass murder or something big happening, you show up and everything goes poof!"

I smile at him but I don't agree or disagree with anything he says causing him to sigh. The grey hair at his temples are really the only indicator that he's getting older. "Eris... just tell me if you killed whatever was hunting and killing those women so I can close the case."

Wow... he used my first name. I stare at him in silence for a few seconds before saying "You can close the case. The Wendigo was killed." His mouth suddenly drops open in shock as I walk into the kitchen. "Would you like some coffee?"

He finally snaps out of it and quickly follows me into the kitchen asking "Wendigo? Aren't they further North? What is one doing way down here in the South? Are you sure it was a Wendigo?" I pop the lid shut on the coffee machine and hit 'start'.

I turn around to face Harris and say "I've been around for a while, Harris. I know what a Wendigo looks and smells like." He slowly nods his head and frowns as he gazes down at the floor, no doubt trying to make sense of it.

I turn and pull down to mugs before asking "Cream? Sugar?" He waves his hand absentmindedly and says "I like it black." but doesn't look up. I smirk and pour us both coffee before handing it to him and asking "What's bothering you, Harris?"

He looks up and takes the cup with hesitation. He gives in and takes a sip and looks at the coffee in shock. I chuckle at his reaction when he says "This is the best damn coffee I've ever had..." he then clears his throat and looks at me with conflicted emotions. I lean against the kitchen counter and wait while sipping my hot coffee. He finally breaks and sighs before saying "Witches have been dying... and we can't find a single damn clue."

I arch a dark brow at him and nod my head as I say "Yes, I've heard." He perks up a little and asks "What else have you heard?" I bit my lip and stare at him before coming to a decision. I slowly nod my head and say "How do you feel about working together on this? Off the books, of course."

He watches me for several seconds before saying "Screw it, what do you know?" I smirk at him and take another sip of my coffee as I say "I just found out that it's not just witches that have been getting killed... the Vampires are being attacked and killed as well."

His wide eyes grow even larger before his eyebrows come together in confusion. "Wait... where did you here this? I haven't heard anything about Vampires being killed." I nod and say "I heard it from Ambrose, the head Vampire himself. He's hired me to find out who's killing all his men."

Harris frowns even more as he asks "He hired a witch to find a witch and vampire killer?" I snort and chuckle a bit as I say "Yeah, something like that. Do you have a map with all the locations the witches were killed at?"

He gives me a look and says "That's police intel..." My smirk grows as I say "I guess my map of all the Vampire deaths is MY intel. Besides, I have no problem getting the information on the witches' deaths. I was planning to do it tomorrow."

He sighs and says "Fine, you win. You always freaking win." He sets his mug down and pulls out his phone. After hitting a few buttons, he turns the phone around for me to take a look. "Interesting..." I say looking at all the red dots.

Harris looks at me with hope as he says "What? What's interesting?" I suck on my front teeth before lifting my left hand. With a snap of my fingers, the map of all the Vampire deaths appear. I set my mug down and unfold the map.

I show Harris the map as I look over the red dots again. He sucks in and says "They're all in the same spots! Just different times." I nod and say "It looks like I'll have to go hunting again."
