Chapter 139 - A Delusional Psychopath (2)

Joreen had suspected at one point that Kyle was coming onto her but she hadn't thougt it was this bad that he had began to imagine things.

"Move out of the way. I don't know what you are talking about and I am not interested in knowing. If you have a problem with Reen, you should sincerely apologize to her and leave me out of it."

"So you can go be with that bastard?" He snorted. "You like me Jo." He said confidently.

"You've always given me the signal. We are meant for each other. If you are doing this because you are angry, I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding. But I won't continue to watch you and that man flirt with each other while pretending to be 'related'."

Joreen opened her mouth in disbelief. "You... are so delusional. How... did you come to this conclusion?" She asked in disbelief.

His face furrowed in anger and he took a step towards her which made her take one backwards. They kept moving in that pace until she had nowhere else to go unless she broke the wall behind her.

He smiled victoriously and brought his face closer with the intention of kissing her. What he received instead was a hard slap that made him move backwards.

"HAVE YOU GONE NUTS?! Do you really want to get punished for this stupid prank you are pulling right now?"

She didn't wait for him to answer before she tried to hurry towards the door but he dragged her back and slammed her back to the wall which caused her to wince in pain.

"PRANK?!" He asked incredulously.

Her phone began to ring inside her coat's pocket. She tried to reach for it but he was quick and took it out from the pocket.

The caller was 'Uncle Hoy the bully' She had saved his name like that a year ago but hadn't changed it.

"How sweet." He snickered derisively.

His hand hovered above the 'end' button before he paused and smirked. "I think you should take the call."

She looked up hopefully.

"If you want me to let you leave, just answer and confess to him. Tell him the truth."

"What... truth?"

"That you love someone else. No need to say my name. Tell him you want to put an end to the silly flirting between you two."

He handed the phone to her. "Don't do anything silly. Just do as you are told and I'll let you go. If you try anything silly, we are both going to take that window over there and jump together like Romeo and Juliet. I'm sure the water won't be as cold as when Romeo drowned in it by himself."

'It was Jack stupid idiot!' Joreen cussed him in her head as she looked at the large glass window.

She shuddered from fear and nodded in agreement to his terms.

"Good girl." He gave her the phone and just before she could take it, he withdrew his hand and narrowed his eyes, "Don't try anything silly. I can be crazy when I want to be."

She gulped and nodded obediently. When she eventually answered the second call, he put it on loud speaker.

"Where are you?" Hoy asked immediately.

"T..aking... a stroll.."

"Why are you stuttering? Are you cold?"

"N...o.. fineee."

Kyle glared at her, reminding her about what she was supposed to do.

"I... want us... to... end whatever is happening between us... I... like someone else..."

"Huh? Who?" She could hear the confusion in his voice. At this moment, doing what Kyle wanted was the best. He seemed to be in 'crazy mode' right now. If she eventually leaves here, she was going to deal with him for this.

"It... doesn't matter. I... want.. to.. always be... with him like... right now."

Kyle smiled, feeling pleased.

"Is the phone on loud speaker?" Hoy asked.

"Y...es.."

"So... you want us to end what's going on between us? What about all the memories we had here? Have you... forgotten all the places I took you to inside this ship?"

"We didn't have any good memories here because you were always going to gym rooms and staying for up to 4 hours. You didn't have time for me and you always smelled like a janitor whenever you get back from there and you know how much I hate that smell."

Kyle tried to suppress his laugh. She was even doing it better than he had thought. She truly liked him after all.

"That is all you have to say to me?" Hoy asked.

"That is all! Nothing else. If you want me to leave him, we are going to jump into the sea together."

"Fine! You can stay with him for all I care! Good luck!"

Kyle took the phone and ended the call immediately. He began to laugh. "That was so good baby!" He said as he turned off her phone.

"I have done that. Now, let me go." She demanded.

"Not so fast baby. We still need to talk." He smiled mischievously and used the back of his hand to touch her face.

"My brown sweet girl." He said softly while giving her a lecherous look.

Her eyes immediately widened. "You... sent those chocolates?" She asked, remembering the words in the note.

"Who else do you love my darling?" He snickered. "I'll get you more chocolates since you returned the first one out of anger and jealousy. You really are cute." He pinched her cheek gently while smiling at her.

*******

Hoy was practically running towards the elevator while he dialing Mr Ping's number. Of all times, why did he have to be on the deck when he made that call?

Immediately Mr Ping answered, he asked,

"Where are you? What floor?"

"Second."

"Go up. Check for any janitor's room around the gym room in the 4th floor. I think Jo is in trouble. And be careful, whoever is with her there is probably going to make them jump out the window." He said impatiently as he tried to reach the elevator which was about to close.

He ended the call immediately and reached the elevator but he was too late since it was already counting. He was lacking patience and that impatience made him take the stairs.

He was going to kill the son of a bitch that was threatening her. His mind told him it was Wei Yong.

He had immediately noticed something was wrong when she was stuttering like that but claimed she wasn't cold and all of a sudden, wanted to end things with him while claiming she loved someone else and wanted to always be with him like she was 'right now'. The only boy she was close to here was Long Lijun and he had done some check to know the boy played for a different field so he was out of it.

It was going to take quite a while to get there, but he hoped Mr Ping would since he was closer.
