I told everyone how I wanted to split the party.

Sophie and her friends have conquered 3 C-class dungeons, so they need to conquer 3 B-class dungeons in order to be able to enter an A-class dungeon.

So, Dogora and I will go with Sophie and her party and help them conquer B-class dungeons.

Kurena, Cecile, and Kiel in the meantime will continue to conquer our 4th and final A-class dungeon in the Academy city.

But that would mean that Dogora and I cannot conquer our 4th dungeon, not exactly.

Dogora and I will spend a day and a half from our two days off to conquer the B-class dungeon. And we will use the remaining half a day to catch up with others.

My current party can conquer about four floors of B-class dungeons in a day, even while carrying Sophie and the others’, we plan to conquer six floors in a day and a half.

I had anticipated the possibility of someone joining our party in the future but not being able to enter A-class dungeons. That’s why, I have recorded the route of the dungeons we have conquered so far in my Grimoire. 

Naturally, I can’t split the party without splitting my summons. I want both sub-parties to have sufficient amount of summons. I can do this without reducing the three Summon Squads.

However, because of Sophie and others joining my party, my plans have been thrown off.

It mainly affects the development village my father Rodan is in charge of.

I was thinking of helping out with the village that will start forming this April in a big way, but I’m afraid I’ll have to scale it back. At least until the two sub-parties become one, the number of summons that I can send to the village will be minimal. Even so, it will be much faster than cultivating the land with just serfs.

With Summon Squads, a Cultivation Squad, and summons for two parties, my summons are in full operation in many fields. In addition to this, there are also summons guarding the base and the mansion in the city of Grandver.

Currently, Allen and his friends are at the starting point of the transition into the Class B dungeon.

“Merle, is the dungeon in the Baucis Empire the same as here?”

“Yeah.”

The day after the welcome party, I had the three of them officially join the “Abandoned Gamers” party at the Adventurer’s Guild.

The following week, today, which is the Academy’s holiday, we will begin our raid.

Merle seems to be as friendly as she looks. She’s not shy, and it’s nice to see her fitting in with the party.

They(other races) wear hoods when they are in the city. I hadn’t seen any Dwarves or Elves before too, perhaps because we don’t publicly accept other races in the Kingdom, or perhaps being from another race, they attract too much attention. They seemed to be concerned about being seen, so they were wearing hoods.

I think it is a tradition in the Academy, where the best students take care of the foreign students until all the students get used to them.

The Elves will become the future healers for the Central Continent, which lacks healers. Other than teaching students that other races exist and they live in another continent, I think there is another meaning in inviting Elves and Dwarves in the human Academy.

I’m pretty sure it is to give the human students a feeling of camaraderie so that they can fight together better against the Demon King’s army in the future.

I summoned Frans  that are 2.5 meters tall and look like Cassowary. I had told them beforehand that we would be riding a large bird to conquer the dungeon, but they were still surprised when Fran appeared in front of them in an instant. I wonder if the reason why Formar unconsciously became Sophie’s wall was because he is her escort.

“My goodness, Master Allen! Are we going to ride them?”

Sophie stepped forward to block Formar.

“Well, yes. I’ll show you how to.”

I decided to show them how to ride Frans, slightly taken back by Sophie’s forward reaction. Fran folded her legs and let me get on her with her belly on the ground.

Merle sees this and excitedly uses her short arms and legs to ride another Fran.

Formar supported Sophie as she got on. And when Formar got on his Fran, I gave the signal.

“Let’s begin! We’ve got two floors to conquer by noon!”

We began our attack on the B-class dungeon.

A few hours later, we started preparing lunch at the start of the 3rd floor. Our lunch doesn’t require cooking consisting of: bread, dried meat, dried potatoes, and fruits.

If we want to cook well, it’s faster to go back to the base.

“I’m sorry. I’m useless.”

Merle apologetically called out to me.

“Huh? No, I think it’s fine. There are no Golem soldiers here.”

Right now, Merle is fighting with a spear and a shield, but to be honest, she is almost useless.

We are mainly fighting with my summons, Sophie’s Spirit Magic, and Formar’s bow.

Merle has been asked to be the front line wall with Dogora, but Dogora seems to have clearly seen the difference between her and him. So he is basically handling it all by himself while also hunting down magical beasts.

Merle has the Talent “Magic Rock General”.

This Talent seems to allow her to control Golem soldiers.

Without the Golem soldiers, she is like a fish on land.

It seems that the Baucis Empire produces Golems as magical tools for the entire nation to ride and control.

And she couldn’t bring those precious Golems to the Academy, and Merle apologized for not being able to help without them.

I know a Mage in the city of Grandver who knows a lot about the battlefield. He was a retired Academy magic instructor. I asked him about Merle’s Talent Magic Rock General and found out some shocking facts.

It is a Talent that allows the person to control a Golem.

He also said that there are different ranks of strength for Golems, and each has different requirements of Talent.

And according to him even a Dragon is no match against a Mithril-class Golem. The Golems seems to need the mana of its pilot, and although it has a limited operating time, it achieves its best results in local battles.

He also said that thanks to these Golem soldiers, the Baucis Empire has been able to repel the invasion of the Demon King’s army.

In exchange, Merle does not have any skills other than controlling Golems. If she doesn’t have anything and doesn’t show her willingness to participate in the battle, she won’t get any experience, so I gave her a weapon and a shield.

The spear and shield she is carrying are both made of Adamantite.

I told her that she could keep these, and she froze. They cost over 1000 Gold coins each after all.

“That said, we’ve got the Crown Prince staring at us, so we might be in trouble.”

“Don’t worry about it, Master Allen. I’ve sent word to Her Majesty through Theodosir.”

I’ve already told them about how we are being targeted by the Crown Prince because of the Granvelle Family.

We have also told them how we would probably be sent to the fiercest location.

Sophie said she would take care of it, but that might be a nuisance.

“Theodosir?”

I gave a look that said, “Who are you talking about?”. After all, I don’t know anyone named Theodosir.

“Oh, he’s the Principal of this Academy.”

This was the first time I heard the Principal’s name. It seems that for Sophie, the Principal is someone she can call by name. I think the difference in position is pretty clear.

In the Five Continent Alliances, there are three people who are called Leaders; The Emperor of the Giamut Empire on the Central Continent, the Emperor of the Baucis Empire, the Dwarven Empire and the Queen of Rosenheim, the Land of the Elves.

The allies of the remaining two continents are not as powerful as these three.

And even less powerful are the small and medium-sized nations such as the Latash Kingdom, which is not even a member of the agreement. They don’t need to worry about a Crown Prince, who is not even the head of state.

“It’s just that we may be sent to separate battlefields.”

“Indeed. It is up to each country to decide which battlefield to send its citizens to.”

Both Sophie and Merle seemed to know about the Demon King. Of course, they would be told about such an important thing before being sent to another continent for studies.

The ruler of each country can designate the battlefields to which they will send their citizens. The Five Continents Alliance can only request it.

So, the Crown Prince can only decide the battlefield of the Latsh Kingdom’s citizens, me, Kurena, Cecile, Dogora, and Kiel. Sophie and Merle might be sent to a different battlefield after graduation.

“Anyway, why do you call me ‘Master Allen’, Sophie?”

“To call me or not to call me that is your decision. But did I do something to be called ‘Master Allen’?”

Dogora and Merle, who were listening to the conversation, were also surprised along with me.

Sophie seemed convinced when she saw Allen fight with his summons, and with a twinkle in her eye, she told the story of that moment.
