Su Run whimpered, “Leader, if I knew you were so good, I would have introduced my cousin to you back then.”

An Lan immediately recalled that she had seen such a person sitting beside Xu Bohan in the past. It was Xu Bohan’s judge assistant.

“Hello,”she quickly shook his hand, “Is your presiding judge off duty?”

“When he was about to leave, the secretary came over at the last minute to talk to him about the court hearing in the afternoon. It should be soon,” Su Run said with a smile, “Are you guys going on a date? Oh right, remember to eat something delicious tonight. The presiding judge didn’t even eat lunch, he only ate bread. He’s been in the reference room investigating cases of medical fraud.”

An Lan was stunned. She was a smart woman and immediately understood that Xu Bohan was doing this for her, “So busy that he didn’t even have time for lunch?”

“It has been quite busy ecently,” Su Run explained, “There’s a judge in the hospital who’s on maternity leave. The workload of each judge is much heavier than before, and the Chief Judge doesn’t want to waste his work time on personal matters, so he can only use his lunchtime.”

An Lan’s heart trembled. She knew that Xu Bohan had a lot of work to do, but she didn’t expect it to be so much more. Furthermore, under such a busy situation, he would come to her every night, and he was also so attentive towards her parents’ matters.
