Chapter 1388 - I’m Not Gonna Share the Quilt with You

Mo Liuxi stayed silent.

Nian Junting added, “Also, did you know that your Weibo account can show people in your location? Your account clearly shows that its user is basing in Xia City.”

Mo Liuxi still didn’t say anything.

Really? He didn’t know about that. He mainly used Facebook before.

The look on his gorgeous face grew even more sullen than before, and he couldn’t control it.

“It’s fine, though. Yan Su went to college in Xia City. She had a lot of suitors back then, so she might not suspect you,” Nian Junting kindly tried to comfort him.

Mo Liuxi honestly did not want to say anything to him.

“So tonight, can you share a room with Jiang Yuning?” Nian Junting asked.

“Sharing a room with Professor Jiang isn’t a bad thing,” Mo Liuxi responded with a cold face. “We’re both men, no big deal.”

As he suddenly changed his attitude, people all looked at him in surprise. None of them asked any questions, though. After all, as long as he agreed to share a room with Jiang Yuning, the problem could be considered solved.

While waiting for the elevator, Luosang sneakily dragged Nian Junting closer to her and asked him, “What did you say to Liuxi to make him agree?”

“It’s a secret between us guys,” Nian Junting said with a mysterious smile.

Luosang snorted. She was glad to see the relationship between her husband and brother growing closer and closer, though.

After going upstairs, people went to their rooms.

Mo Liuxi and Jiang Yuning had to share a room. Mo Liuxi threw himself onto the bed once he got into the room. After spending a while lying there, the weird silence in the room made him raise his head to find that Jiang Yuning was scowling at him.

Mo Liuxi thought Jiang Yuning was upset because he had taken up too much room on the bed, so he hurriedly moved slightly to the side and said, “You can lie down here.”

Jiang Yuning shook his head and said softly, “You just got off the plane. A lot of people sat in your seat on that plane. You are now carrying countless germs, but you lay on the bed with your clothes on. It’s unhygienic…”

Groan. Mo Liuxi didn’t know what to say. Why me?! Why me?!

After he finished talking, Jiang Yuning opened his suitcase, took out a sheet and a quilt, and started making the bed for himself. After spreading the sheet, he folded the quilt neatly and put it on the side, and then said, “This is my quilt. I’m not gonna share it with you.”

Mo Liuxi kept quiet.

…And what makes him think I’d want to share his quilt with him, huh!?

The more he thought about his current situation, the unhappier he became. So, he texted Yan Su—’We’re already in Hang Zhou. Do you know with whom I’m sharing a room? Nian Xi’s boyfriend. This is so lame. They made me share a room with a guy.’

Five minutes later, Yan Su replied to him—’I was practicing singing just now and didn’t see the message. Isn’t that nice? You always told people you’re gay.’

Mo Liuxi was amused. Could they still chat happily?

A minute later, Yan Su sent him another message—’I heard Nian Xi’s boyfriend is a scientist. He should be very knowledgeable. I think you guys can have a nice talk.’

Mo Liuxi replied—’What’s to talk about? He’s a thirty-year-old nerd.’

Yan Su—’You two can talk about science. That theme seems popular now. As a director and a screenwriter, you should learn about all sorts of people, even nerds.’

Mo Liuxi found her words made sense, so he turned and said to Jiang Yuning, “Professor Jiang, what project have you been working on recently?”

Jiang Yuning thought for a moment, then said, “High-energy particles. Among all high-energy particles, only electron e and proton p can reach high energy by accelerator acceleration method. The other high-energy particles, such as charged ± meson…”

“Oh, right.” Mo Liuxi buried his head in his arms and said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Forget it. I think I need to rest.”

Blinking his eyes, Jiang Yuning stopped talking. He fixed his eyes on the door, waiting for Nian Xi.

Mo Liuxi hid under the quilt and texted Yan Su again–‘I tried talking to him. I didn’t understand one word he said. Will you come over for dinner?’
