Chapter 975 - Yan Su Is Mr. Lu’s Girlfriend

Once the film was over, Yan Su zipped her jacket to cover her chin and put on her mask. It was crowded when they left the screen room. Lu Kang guarded her with one arm, in case someone bumped into her.

“Mr. Lu,” someone called from behind.

Lu Kang turned and saw Qiao Xue and Secretary Yuan, who also worked in his company. Qiao Xue looked at Yan Su. Her face was a little pale.

As a girl, Yan Su easily figured out how Qiao Xue might be feeling. She dropped her eyes and pulled her mask slightly upward. She regretted coming out. He glanced at Qiao Xue, who had remained silent, and asked, “Are you here for the movie?”

Qiao Xue looked at his back with disappointment. She always knew Lu Kang had someone in his heart. She thought that she still had a chance since he didn’t have a girlfriend. After seeing Yan Su, she guessed that she had no chance at all.

“Don’t give up,” Secretary Yuan said. “You two work in the same company every day. You’ll always have a chance.”

Qiao Xue shook her head and said, “That’s impossible. Didn’t you see how pretty his girlfriend’s eyes were? I bet she’d look stunning without that mask. And her body, and her bag. I think she’s younger than me.”

Secretary Yuan burst into laughter and said, “Come on, you’re one of the pretty girls in our company. Mr. Nian even asked you to pretend to be his girlfriend once!”
