She followed the attendant and entered a booth. It was a four-bunk carriage, but she was the only passenger there. There were oranges, bananas, and all sorts of fruit laid on the table. Although it wasn’t much, it felt like a world of difference to her.

“There won’t be other passengers joining you on this ride. Please make yourself comfortable. We will deliver lunch, dinner, and supper to you later,” the attendant explained before she walked away.

At the airport, Nian Junting received a call from the train company, and they informed him that they had made the due arrangements that he had requested. He breathed a sigh of relief, and he prepared to board the plane in peace.

An Lan couldn’t help but laugh at him. “Mr. Nian, you really go all out for Miss Xu, don’t you? You asked me to put on an act with you and treated me to a trip to Beijing and all. You were so worried about her sitting on a hard seat, it’s not even that big of a deal. If I remember correctly, you used to take trains like that all the time when you were serving in the military.”

“How could she compare to me?” Nian Junting grunted. “I’m a man, I can take hardships.”

An Lan sighed. She was envious of Luosang. It was a blissful thing to be loved by a man like that. She was clear on the fact that she would not interfere with something that didn’t belong to her.

“Mr. Nian, I got it.” Lu Kang walked over with his phone. “I heard that Miss Xu had some conflict with Shi Xiang. He is a very popular singer in Asia right now.”

Nian Junting frowned. “How dare he have any conflict with my woman? Doesn’t he know that she is my girlfriend?”

Lu Kang cleared his throat. “The public knows that you two have broken up.”
