The preparation for those arrays was long. A few hours after he started making arrays, Jeanne and Anna came back, bringing bottles full of monster blood.

He made around a hundred arrays around them. They were in the ground, trees, or anywhere he thought well hidden. Alex was planning to lure those soldiers to this place and kill them.

Unfortunately, Ngina informed him that he saw a reinforcement. It was another one thousand soldiers. From the look of it, they became wary about Alex's existence.

It turned out they were another scout group that was sent to check the surrounding. But from their way back, they found the other group that Alex had destroyed.

But after a moment of confusion, the group decided not to send any search party. After all, all of those two hundred people were Martial Grandmasters.

If they recklessly investigated it, they might be obliterated by whoever that killed that group. They decided to wait for other reinforcement for safety.

The next day, the war started again. As expected of Leoz, he killed many people as usual. But, things were starting to get interesting.

The three Martial Lords accompanied by a hundred Martial Grandmasters and a thousand soldiers charged toward the battlefield.

When Leoz saw that, he couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows. His instinct was telling him that something might happen today.

Not long after that, he found out that his instinct was right.

"Make sure no others can interrupt us." One of the Martial Lords ordered.

"Yes!" The other soldiers moved out to make space for Leoz and three Martial Lords.

With so many soldiers charged at the mercenary camp, they started pushing back the mercenary camp. The mercenary camp had another Martial Lord beside Leoz, but he was intercepted by one of the three Martial Lords from Zhou Kingdom.

Leoz was surrounded by two Martial Lords.

"You are strong. I don't know why you joined their mercenary camp, but if it was for money. Come and join us, Zhou Kingdom will dominate this kingdom soon. If you joined us now, you could get all the money you wanted.

"I could certainly see that your power is not like the other Martial Lord in this camp. Join us, and swear your loyalty to us."

Leoz only smiled, "Is that all you want to say for your last word? I don't care about money, as for my loyalty, Zhou Kingdom is not qualified for that."

"You are a fool. I will make you regret rejecting this invitation." The Martial Lord said as he pulled out his spear. He released his Spiritual Energy.

When the Southern Kingdom's armies felt that, they immediately saw a battle between Martial Lords that would soon start.

As one of the commanders from the Southern Kingdom, Putri obviously saw Leoz's figure. She was shocked that she could see him again.

He was the guy she met back in Shades Town when she was coming back to the sect with Song Yu. Back then, that yellow haired guy was only a 6-Star Martial Master. But all she could see was that this guy was on the same level as the other Martial Lords.

She was shocked by that. She never knew about the identity of the masked Alchemist. Only Song Yu who knew about that mask. If she knew it was Alex, she might only say..."Alright."

Alex was classified as a special case in her mind, so after she knew Alex had a Pure Fire Element, she considered everything Alex did is normal.

But, in this situation where she didn't know Leoz's real identity. To see him again as a Martial Lord, it was truly shocking. She heard that Mercenary camp had gotten two Martial Lords in their ranks, so the kingdom didn't send their Martial Lords first as they wanted to utilize those two Martial Lords.

In other words, there was no Martial Lord in Southern Kingdom's camp. They had yet to move out of the city.

Zhou took advantage of that and attacked Leoz first. They took two days to confirm that the Martial Lords from the Southern Kingdom won't move.

On this particular day, they decided to attack and make irreplaceable damage to them.

The Southern Kingdom wanted to reserve their strength and utilize others' help first, but they didn't consider the damage that will be done by doing that. At least, they should send out a Martial Lord to oversee the situation.

Sadly, Leoz was pincered by two Martial Lords.

"Spear Blake."

"Silent Darkness."

"Thunder Cut."

Unfortunately, their clash was unexpected. Leoz was going strong at the moment, and the two were barely able to contain him. He was reserving his power this whole time so he could unleash it at this moment.

Sadly, those two Martial Lords obviously surprised with Leoz's true prowess. In other words, Leoz made them underestimate him.

"Thunder Break."

Leoz shot out a big lightning bolt toward one of the Martial Lord. He tried to avoid it, but he lost his balance.

Leoz swung his sword against him. He tried to block it but to no avail. Although Leoz's attack was not connected, he was blown away by that attack.

"Boom!"

He crashed to the ground. The other Martial Lords immediately swung his sword to stop him, so Leoz won't attack the other guy.

"Old Second, help old third and finish that 1-Star Martial Lord as soon as possible and come back here. I will hold him alone in the meantime." He shouted to the man on the ground.

"Are you going to use that?" The man that crashed to the ground just now shouted back.

"Go now!" He ordered him without answering him.

"Do you think you can hold me alone?" Leoz snorted while narrowing his eyes toward the one who blocked him just now.

He took out a red pill from his space ring and swallowed it. As soon as he took it, blood came out from his eye socket, down to his cheek. His eyes started becoming red, and the white eyes disappeared and changed to black.

His energy started to spike.

'3-Star peak.'

'4-Star Martial Lord.'

'5-Star Martial Lord.'

'5-Star Martial Lord peak.'

He suddenly disappeared. Leoz was surprised to see a sudden increase in his strength. He was also shocked by the change of appearance.

Leoz immediately raised his sword. The Martial Lord suddenly appeared in front of Leoz and swung his sword against him. Leoz raised his sword to block it, but the power was tremendous. It was his turn to get blown away and crashed to the ground.

Although he didn't receive any injuries, he was surprised by the sudden rise of strength. If he fought three people like this, it would be too hard for him, and he might even lose.

The sudden increase in strength was that abnormal. Lightning started sparking around his body. He wanted to end this fight as soon as possible, possibly before the other fight ended.

He raised his hand toward the Martial Lord.

"Thunder Ring!"

A yellow ring suddenly appeared on his hand. He shot out that ring and before it reached the Martial Lord. The ring suddenly expanded.

There was only him and Leoz in that ring area. The ring was like a stage for fighting. After expanding, the circle started glowing, and thunder started sparking to the ground or to the sky, making a cage with the thunder as its bars.

Obviously, it was to trap both of them inside so the Martial Lord couldn't escape. Leoz rose from the ground and jumped toward the Martial Lord with his big sword.

Leoz used every ounce of his strength to push him back. Fortunately, he succeeded. He blew the Martial Lord to the cage.

"Argh!"

He was stung by the lightning on his back. Surprisingly, the lightning was not functioning as cage's bars, but it also held some offensive effects.

Leoz didn't stop there. He swung his sword once again.

"Thunder Cut."

A sword wave flew toward the Martial Lord. The Martial Lord immediately dodged to the side with smoke rose from his back. It was the injury after his back got roasted by Leoz's lightning.

They clashed for a few minutes, but Leoz was not able to kill the Martial Lord.

At that moment, the other two had come back, but they were blocked by Leoz's Thunder Ring.

"Old Third, let's attack this together."

"Yeah."

"Splitting Spear."

"Thunderous Claw."

An illusory spear and a giant claw formed by lightning flew toward Leoz's thunder ring. But, to their surprise, they didn't break the cage.

They looked at each other solemnly before nodding their head. Both of them swallowed a red pill. Soon after, their appearance became the same as the Martial Lord inside the cage.

"Splitting Spear."

"Thunderous Claw."

Their cultivation also increased to 5-Star Martial Lord. They sent the same attack to Leoz's thunder ring. But with their new prowess, Leoz's thunder ring was not able to hold down these two attacks.

The cage broke, and Leoz had yet to kill the other one.

"Splitting Spear."

"Thunderous Claw."

They sent another one to rescue their comrade. His condition was a bit miserable. In this few minutes' fight, Leoz started getting an advantage on him.

Leoz exploited very skillfully and made many wounds on his body. If they didn't appear for another few minutes, this guy would be dead.

Sadly, it didn't go his way. Leoz clicked his tongue. He would need to fight three 5-Star Martial Lords with his 3-Star Martial Lord cultivation. It was hard even for him.

If it was two, Leoz might be able to handle it. But to fight with these three, he wouldn't be so sure. He was wondering if he would meet other people like these three. The answer was that red pill.

If there were many people like this, this war might turn to worse.

It made the Spiritual Energy inside the Martial Lord's body become unstable. The pill released the latent potential inside their body and forced them to come out.

He observed the fight between Leoz and one of the Martial Lords closely. He observed the red energy inside his body. It made the Spiritual Energy rampage, and Alex was sure he wouldn't last for another five minutes.

The red energy tried to eat the actual Spiritual Energy inside his body. Alex speculated that if it was successful in eating all of the Spiritual Energy. That person will be crippled if not died.

After Leoz's thunder ring broke, Leoz fought with all of them. He was suppressed by those three while trying to make a chance to finish one of them at a time.

"Alex, what are you going to do?" Anna came to him and asked. "Are you going to the battlefield?"

"... If we showed up on the battlefield, what about the soldiers in this forest? We need to kill those one thousand and two hundred people in this forest. We won't know what happened if we didn't do that.

"Their number will keep increasing if we didn't do anything. So, I want to decrease their number before they can join up. We will let Leoz handle everything on the battlefield."

"I see. But Leoz is currently in trouble."

"Yeah, I know. That's why I want all of you to get ready in your position to intercept the enemy. I am sure they know the existence of the group in this forest. So, I will show myself and help Leoz from this forest."

"Are you going to set up yourself as bait?"

"Yeah, so get ready," Alex smiled as he took out two spears and grabbed them on each hand.

"Understood."

After acknowledging Alex's plan, Anna immediately disappeared and informed others.

Alex took out Leoz's card and said, "The spear guy."

On the battlefield, Leoz couldn't come up with a way to win in a short time. Those three Martial Lords kept charging at him and suppressed him.

He was struggling, and no one can help him at the moment.

Yeah, no one, until he heard a voice ringing on his head.

"The spear guy."

It was Alex's voice. He immediately grinned. These three Martial Lords, if they needed to be identified. The first one would be the sword guy, the second one would be the thunder guy, and the last one was the spear guy.

"Why are you grinning?" The thunder guy was frowning when he saw Leoz grinning.

"No, you three will die here."

"What!" All of them became enraged.

On the side, Alex covered both his spear with Spear Intent and Fire to enhance their attack power. He took a deep breath before throwing those spears.

"Spear Throwing Art, Spin Throwing!"
