Chapter 430: An Endless Night to Talk Our Feelings Out

Yue Tingfeng clenched his jaw. “Ma, you… You just don’t trust your son at all?”

Mrs. Yue looked at him helplessly. “My son, it’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s you that… really can’t do it. If Qingsi was that easy of a girl to get, would you still have waited until now? Let me tell you, you’d better marry her before she hits the big time. When that comes, people from all around the world will come after her. There are so many good men out there, and she’s not mentally insane, so why must she choose you?”

Yue Tingfeng held his heart. It was a million blows struck at him by his own mother!

He was so angry that he wanted to spew out blood from his mouth. “Am I really that bad?”

Mrs. Yue sighed and patted his shoulder. “You’re the one who told me that the truth is hard to swallow.”

With nothing else left for him to say, he remarked, “Forgot about it, Ma. I think it’s better if you don’t talk.”

Mrs. Yue ran after him. “How about you down another bowl? Do your very best tonight, so you’ll get…”

Yue Tingfeng turned around abruptly. “Ma…”

Mrs. Yue touched her nose. “I’ll stop talking and go wash the dishes.”

Yue Tingfeng lay on the bed. Yan Qingsi was so soundly asleep that she did not even notice his arrival.

He carried her in his arms and thought about what his mother said. If the concoction really did increase fertility, then… he should at least try it!

However, Yue Tingfeng was dismayed that Yan Qingsi had not slept well for two days. He thought about it and decided to shelve his plans for the moment and allow her to get her rest first.

Besides, he did not feel anything at all as he had just only drunk the medicine. Yue Tingfeng sighed, thinking that his mother had probably bought some fake medicine. Her naïve looks surely made for an easy con.

He did not put much thought into the concoction but he hoped that there were no negative side effects.

When midnight came, however, Yue Tingfeng was awakened by the heat. His entire body was hot and his mouth was dry. All he felt was a fire burning within him.

Half-dazed, he ripped off his pajamas and tossed it wherever. He touched Yan Qingsi’s body and her body was cool, prompting him to immediately throw himself on her.

Yan Qingsi was enjoying her sleep and in her haziness, she felt as though she had been thrown into an oven. The heat was far too unbearable and it was very uncomfortable as her body was drenched in sweat.

Still very soundly asleep, she struggled to break free but was unsuccessful. She felt as though she had become a ball of dough, flipped over and kneaded by someone else.

Finally, she opened her eyes and saw Yue Tingfeng’s stark red face. Beads of sweat rolled down his body and dripped onto her.

She gasped for air and asked, “Why are you so restless in the middle of the night?”

Yue Tingfeng smiled. “An endless night, with insomnia as my plight; let’s find some things to talk about, maybe talk our feelings out.”

Yan Qingsi raised her legs, intending to kick him off the bed but Yue Tingfeng grabbed her ankles immediately.

Her ankles were slender and incredibly beautiful. Yue Tingfeng’s hands were big and his palm was warm, as though the slightest exertion of force could shatter her ankles.

Yue Tingfeng turned his head and kissed Yan Qingsi’s instep. “I didn’t think you’d want a different position. No problem, we’ll get to used to this new position.”

Yan Qingsi stared at him. ‘Damn it, you b*stard…’

After a whole day of rain, the outdoor temperature was very cold, especially at night. It was different in the room, as the heat began increasing in intensity and the entire house seemed to be on fire.

Thee reverse image of their silhouette was projected onto the window curtain. They got so entangled with each other that bodies looked almost indistinguishably fused with one another.

The clock pointed at three in the morning. Yan Qingsi was incredibly tired and she opened her mouth to bite down on Yue Tingfeng’s ears. “You b*stard. Have you had enough?”
