I was surprised by his stats and level.

Upon noticing my gaze Kir asked, "My lord, Is there something wrong?"

I sat in silence before responding "Kir, can you teach me how to fight?"

He kneeled and said, "I would be honored to my lord."

For the next couple of days, Kir would teach me how to wield the knife better and what to do in a few fights. He told me that I could only learn from experience. Also, I learned the name of the woman who I saved, it turns out here name is Anna. While we were on the road to the next city or town the system gave me a new quest.

'New Quest! Training

Train for 2 hours a day with Kir Kanos until you beat him in a 1 on 1 duel.

I mentally asked the system "What do you mean a draw of my choosing?"

'I will allow you to choose the era."

"Does that mean that If I want items from the clone wars era I would get those types of items?"

'Yes, Do you wish to accept the quest?'

"Yes," I told the system.

For the next few days, I trained with Kir and as you might have thought, he kicked my ass. Even when he used the same amount of strength as me he still was too strong.

After a week on the road, we finally could see a city. While marveling at the sight of the massive city Anna informed me that this one of the large cities within the Kingdom that we are in, which reminds me, I have yet to ask about this kingdom.

I asked Anna and she told me some minor information about the kingdom.

"The Kingdom that we are currently in is called Sania, most of the nobels are corrupt in some way or another, The Demi-humans are treated as slaves and are not permitted citizenship," she told me.

When I found out that demi-humans were being enslaved and that this Kingdom still had slavery I felt disgusted.

When we drew closer to the gate into the city I had the rancor stay here so he would not cause any danger to the cities inhabitants. When we got near the gates the city guards stepped forward and said "Halt! Please show us your identification or pay for entrance." I then pull out a gold coin and hand it to the guard and he lets us in.

I realized that we were low on funds and when I asked Anna where we should go to get some Gold Coins she said that we should go to the local Adventurers Guild Hall and become an adventurer and do some quests.
