Since Wang Yao learned how to make diagnosis through observing people's faces, he also gained some knowledge in physiognomy. The better the doctor he became, the better he was at physiognomy.

Guo Zhenghe looked outgoing and nice since he always smiled. Most people would think he was a honorable person. However, he was actually a cunning person. People like him were often very calculating and dark inside.

Maybe I think too much, Wang Yao thought.

Guo Zhenghe had a walk in the village. He took his time. He was observing the village with a smile on his face as he walked. His smile was sunning. He nodded and greeted the villagers.

"Who is that young man? He's so polite and good looking," a villager said.

Every villager who saw Guo Zhenghe had a good impression about him. It seemed being good looking was important.

Hmm? Chen Ying saw Guo Zhenghe at the entrance of the lane, but Guo Zhenghe didn't see her. What is he doing here?

She watched him get into the car and drive away. Chen Ying thought for a while before going to Wang Yao's clinic.

"Hello," Wang Yao said.

"Hello, Dr. Wang. Did Guo Zhenghe come here?" Chen Ying asked.

"Yeah. You saw him too?" Wang Yao asked.

"Yeah. What was he doing here? I'm not poking around. I'm just curious," Chen Ying said.

"Nothing big," Wang Yao said with a smile. "He said he just passed this place and suddenly thought about me."

"Did he really say that?" Chen Ying asked.

"Yeah. What's wrong?" Wang Yao asked.

"Nothing, Dr. Wang. I just want to remind you that I like gossiping. Mr. Guo is a very calculating person," Chen Ying said.

"Really?" Wang Yao asked with surprise. He didn't expect Chen Ying had come there just to tell him that. Maybe Chen Ying just wanted to remind him to be careful with Guo Zhenghe. He now recalled that Guo Zhenghe visited Chen Ying's cottage when he was in Beijing. Chen Ying seemed to be a bit scared of Guo Zhenghe at that time.

However, Wang Yao had not thought his path would cross Guo Zhenghe's again. Then, he had saved Guo Zhenghe's life.

"I see. Thank you," Wang Yao said. "By the way, are you and Chen Zhou available tonight?"

"Of course," Chen Ying said with a smile. She had brought Chen Zhou to the village just to see Wang Yao. They didn't have anything else to do.

"Shall we all have dinner together tonight? My treat," Wang Yao said.

"Yeah, but you don't have to pay for the dinner," Chen Ying said.

"That's alright," Wang Yao said with a smile.

"OK," Chen Ying said.

Wang Yao notified his parents before driving Chen Ying and Chen Zhou to the restaurant in the next village.

They ordered a few chef's special dishes including the wild fungi from the hill. The owner had picked the fungi during summer, dried them, and stored them in a dark and dry place. They also ordered free-range chicken and river fish. None of the food was artificial.

"Yummy!" Chen Ying and her brother enjoyed the food.

Some of the food they couldn't have access to in Beijing. Beijing had its pros and cons, as did the village.

The restaurant was quite busy. The yard was full of cars.

"Business has been really good," Wang Yao said.

"Yeah, the hot springs resort has attracted a lot of people," the owner said.

Wang Yao was a regular client. The owner was very familiar with him.

"The hot springs really has a lot of clients," Wang Yao said.

"It's probably because it's new. I don't think there will be so many clients two months from now," the owner said. "I have to serve the clients. Talk to you later. Let me know if you need me."

"OK," Wang Yao said.

"Is there a hot springs nearby?" Chen Ying asked.

"Yeah, they just found it last year. It is located in the village to the east, about 6 miles from here," Wang Yao said.

"Is there anywhere else worth visiting around here?" Chen Ying asked. She had only visited Jiulian Hill when she came there with Song Ruiping and Su Xiaoxue. It was snowing that day, so the view on the hill was quite unique.

"Honestly, there are not many places worth visiting in Lianshan. It is just a small county, unlike Beijing, which is full of tourist hot spots," Wang Yao said. "Jiulian Hill is the most famous tourist spot in Lianshan. The county is named after it."

"What about Haiqu?" Chen Ying asked.

"It's a coastal city. You guys can go to the beach. I can't really think of anywhere else," Wang Yao said.

Everything appeared interesting on the internet. For example, the introduction of a hill and a cave in Haiqu seemed fascinating online, but the so-called hill was just a few soil bumps. It was even smaller than the hills in Lianshan. The so-called cave was simply formed by several rocks, which might be man-made. The spots were actually boring and disappointing.

"We plan to look around the next few days," Chen Ying said.

"Good. Chen Zhou's condition is very stable now. It's good to walk around," Wang Yao said.

"Hey, what's in this dish?" They suddenly heard someone complaining.

"What happened?" The owner of the restaurant immediately attended to the client.

Wang Yao, Chen Ying, and Chen Zhou just finished eating and were about to leave.

"Look! My son started to vomit after eating your dishes," a man in his 40s shouted.

They had just been to the hot spring resort. Since they didn't want to cook and saw someone online recommended this restaurant because of the quality of dishes and prices, they decided to have dinner there. However, his son started to complain about a stomach ache after eating and then started to vomit. This really upset the middle-aged man.

All the people in the restaurant heard him shouting. They all came to watch what was going on.

The middle-aged man's wife grabbed her husband. Apparently, she didn't want him to make a scene. However, the man ignored his wife. He was afraid of nothing and no one.

The owner was anxious. He didn't want the reputation of his restaurant to be ruined. If people knew his restaurant had poor food hygiene, no one would visit his place again.

"I..." The owner didn't know what to say.

Honestly, all the dishes in his restaurant were fresh apart from the dry fungi he picked last year. In addition, his restaurant had been very busy lately, so the food was consumed quickly. He didn't think any food had passed its expiration date.

"All the food here is fresh. I've never had any complaints before. Is it possible that he vomited for other reasons?" the owner asked.

"What other reasons? He's been fine and happy until now!" The man stood up. He was over 5-foot-9 and looked really strong. "Let me tell you, I'm pretty sure your food made him sick!"

"What's happening?" Wang Yao came along. He was about to leave, but saw the owner in trouble.

"Who the hell are you?" the man rudely asked.

"I'm a doctor," Wang Yao said.

The man stopped complaining. He gave way for Wang Yao to see his son, who was still complaining about stomach pain.

Wang Yao squatted down to check the food on the ground and the child's pulse. He then took a look at the dishes on the table. He immediately knew what was going on.

The man had ordered wild fungi, fish, fried eggs, chili chicken, and goat stripe.

"The food here has no problem. Your son's got a problem," Wang Yao said.

"What?" the man grumpily asked. "It has nothing to do with my son! Is the owner here your friend?"

"Let me finish," Wang Yao calmly said.

"Your son had a lot of ice cream when you were at the hot springs resort," Wang Yao said. "Am I right?"

The man was surprised. His eyes were wide open. He didn't answer.

Wang Yao could see the leftover ice cream in the food the boy vomited.

"You are right. He had two ice creams and a bottle of iced coke," the boy's mother said.

"Too much cold food stimulated his stomach. He could have vomited without eating anything here. Then, you ordered these dishes, wild fungi, chili chicken, and goat stripe. Chili food also stimulates the stomach. That's why your son is like this," Wang Yao said.

"I see," the boy's mother said.

"You are so professional," one of the customers said.

The other customers all seemed to agree with Wang Yao.

"What? You guys must know each other!" The boy's father scolded.

"What you need to do now is to take your son to the hospital. Get him some proper treatment instead of shouting here," Wang Yao said.

"Well, we should leave!" The boy's mother carried the boy and walked toward the door.

Her husband grabbed his coat and followed them.

"Go away!" Wang Yao was standing in front of him.

The man pushed him, however, he bounced and hit the wall. "What the hell!"

"Seriously? Did he just pretend to fall?" The bystanders were all shocked.
