10 Ch. 10 'Bieger Academy'

Niken's heart pounded as she entered the class she was about to take. She began to breathe freely as soon as she sat on the designated desk.

Niken was indeed very nervous about strangers. However, she would spend a year with all of them, so Niken had to force herself to get used to it.

She began to look around. Some were studying, some were listening to music, some were gossiping, and someone was even sleeping?

Niken's gaze fixed on the sleeping figure on the table. His desk in the corner and his face was facing the wall. He had the same black hair like her, so she got curious about him.

After all, most hairs in the classroom were rather brown-reddish or blonde.

"Don't bother about him." Niken turned around in surprise when she heard a voice beside her.

"Hi, are you the new kid? My name is Karyn, the wind Elementalist. You?"

"Ni... Niken. My name is Niken. I'm a water Elementalist. Nice to meet you."

"Niken? What a unique name for a water Elementalist." murmured Karyn.

"?? Did you say something?"

"No. Nice to meet you too." They both shook hands with each other, smiling. "So, is this your first day?"

"Yeah, this is my first day."

"Cool! Do you know how the system works here?"

"No. Do you mind to explain some to me, please?"

Karyn began to talk about various kinds of the academy system. Each of the Sun and Moon buildings had six different levels. Level A to D plus level S and SS.Before entering this school, each prospective apprentice will be tested for their energy and knowledge mastery.

Niken remembered the entrance exam she took in. As expected, she entered a D-class as she was weak as an Elementalist.

On the contrary, her twin brother got in with a high score and entered an A-class. She was sure her brother would try to upgrade his skill and enter the S-class.

The S-class was full of students who had mastered his strength of elemental energy perfectly. They could accept any mission given.

For example, a mission as a bodyguard, or catching wanted criminals or driving away bandits in someplace, etc. The task itself was dangerous.

As for the SS-class, no one knew what kind of mission for them. But some rumors say the SS-class had only four members.

The four of them were the most potent Elementalist. Which means they were the legendary Elementalist knights. Until now, no one knew who the SS members were.

"Wow, I feel like I've been studying in this school for a long time."

Karyn laughed at that. "Sorry, I spoke too much. Once I speak, nothing can stop me. I hope you don't mind. "

"No worries." Niken's answer was relieved; apparently, her new friend wasn't as frightened as she thought.

Maybe she could hold on one year. Who knows she will grow fond of this place very soon.

Meanwhile, something was interesting happened in the Sun class.

Richard, who entered the A-class, was immediately told to practice attacking several targets that had been provided. It was evident to everyone; the instructor wanted him to show off his skill.

Well, since Richard liked to practice and wanted to get stronger, he didn't mind. He observed the flying target.

At first, Richard found it was difficult as he used to practice on unmoved targets. This time he had to hit the moving target and not the usual one. The flying target!

The target was some small black ball that was activated by metallic elemental energy. They were flying around, which making Richard hard to aim his fireballs.

He waited patiently to observe their movement pattern. A few moments later, he fired his fireballs accurately and hit all his targets.
