Walking in the direction of the Formation Hall, Xuan Hao did his best to not get noticed by the different elders passing by them, as it would take forever if he were to stop and be greeted by all the elders passing them on the way there. The sun was still high in the sky, so both disciples and elders were filling up the roads and streets of the Flying Sword Sect.

The only thing making sure that he was not seen by the surrounding elders passing them, was his domain. Hiding him from the view of the elders passing by. Allowing him to walk beside Fang Yu without being greeted by every single elder passing them…

He didn't mind his current position in the slightest. The only demerit was the fact that every single elder would come over to greet him whenever he showed up… Something he could live without, as it did make it quite hard for him to move outside of his mountain.

Luckily, this problem had been solved after reaching the Domain Lord Realm, as he could now hide himself from the elders with the help of his domain. Allowing him to freely move through the Flying Sword Sect without being stopped by someone along the way!

Walking together with Fang Yu, Xuan Hao suddenly remembered the fact that the entrance test to the Formation Hall might only be done during a specific time of the day. Maybe they didn't even do it every day!

"Ah, I forgot to ask, but is there a specified time where you can take the entrance test for the Formation Hall?"

"Hm… From what I know, there is no specific time where they hold the entrance test, I would normally just go up and ask one of the elders and the elder would then conduct the test for me."

Arriving at the Formation Hall, Xuan Hao decided to just watch over Fang Yu from behind as she went over towards one of the elders standing just outside the Formation Hall.

He did not want to accidently influence the elders of the Formation Hall by being there… Having Fang Yu do it by herself would be more suitable, as the elders of the Formation Hall would not give her any kind of favourable treatment or decided to just let her enter because he was there to support her.

In the end, Xuan Hao feared that doing something like that would end up resulting in the sect mission from the system failing…

"Yes!"

"Hah… Follow me, we will do it in the usual location…" Sighing a bit upon hearing her answer, the elder seemed to have already tested Fang Yu in the past.

Whoosh~

Soon, both of them left towards a small area located behind the Formation Hall with Xuan Hao secretly following behind. Devoid of any disciples and elders walking around like the entrance of the Formation Hall.

At most, there were a few elders situated in a corner drinking some kind of brownish liquid together with a smile on their lips as they chatted among each other.

Stopping for a short moment to look over towards the elder and Fang Yu who had just arrived.

"Oh, it's the little girl again! What was her name… Fang Yu? It's been quite some time since she came to try and beat the entrance test last time… Perhaps she finally managed to beat the last part and learned the fire burning formation?"

"Haha, I hope so! It's rare to see any disciples as dedicated as that little girl!"

"Pft, who are you fooling? You are just after her dear grandmother!"

"What? Was I wrong?"

"Haha, you indeed got him this time around!"

Listening in on the three elders chatting together, Xuan Hao heard something quite interesting. Apparently, they already knew about Fang Yu and thought well of her. At least two of the elders did. The last one was questionable… Maybe he should warn Fang Yu's grandmother when he handed her back…?

Having arrived in the small peaceful area located behind the Formation Hall, Fang Yu gazed over at the three elders observing her from the distance out of the corner of her eye before focusing back at the elder that was going to administer her entrance test. Nodding her head as she signalled that she was ready for the test.

"Great! I don't think I have to explain what the test is all about, so let's start with the formation for increasing the temperature in a small area!"

Nodding his head approvingly after seeing how confident and obedient Fang Yu was, the elder took a few steps back. Giving some space for Fang Yu to set up her first formation.

Whoosh~

Not holding back in the slightest after seeing that the elder had moved out of the way, Fang Yu immediately began setting up the formation and within only a few seconds, she had finished and could easily increase the temperature inside of her formation by a few degrees.

"Good! Looks like you improved since the last time I saw you! You can move onto the formation for decreasing the temperature!" Nodding his head approvingly as he inspected the formation, the elder soon gave her the go for setting up the next formation.

"Yes!"

Whoosh~

Following what the elder had told her, Fang Yu undid her first formation and began setting up the second formation for decreasing the temperature inside the small area covered by the formation.

Soon, a second formation appeared in front of Fang Yu, who quickly displayed the use of the formation by decreasing the temperature inside of it by a few degrees.

"It really looks like you have had a breakthrough since last time I saw you, I still remember that you struggled quite a bit to keep up this formation back then. Only just barely passing! But now it looks like you are easily able to do it…"

Smiling at Fang Yu as he nodded his head approvingly at her once again, the elder began to feel like Fang Yu might have a chance to finally break free from her cycle of constant failures and officially pass the entrance test and enter the Formation Hall!

"Now for the last formation… The fire burning formation… Are you ready, Fang Yu?" Having a serious look on his face for once, the elder asked Fang Yu, even using her name.

"Yes!"

Not wavering in the slightest, Fang Yu nodded her head confidently as she answered the elder.

"That is good, then I hope you will show me how much you improved since last time!"

Encouraging Fang Yu one last time, the elder took a few more steps back to give a proper amount of space to Fang Yu.

"Hah…"

Whoosh~

Taking a deep breath, Fang Yu calmed down before she began to set up the fire burning formation. Doing her best to replicate how she had done it when she had succeed for the first time back in Xuan Hao's training ground.

Fwoosh!

A small fire suddenly ignited. Signalling the fact that the formation had officially been set up!

A few seconds slowly passed with the elder nervously keeping an eye on the small fire. Making sure that it did not explode like it had in the past.

"You really did it!"

It was only after a little over ten seconds had passed, that the elder finally calmed down before walking over to inspect Fang Yu's formation with a happy smile on his face.

"Congratulations, Fang Yu, you can now be considered a member of the Formation Hall!"

The elder felt extremely happy saying this to Fang Yu, he knew very well how much it meant for her. After all, he was among one of the elders that had watched how hard she had tried improving over the past years to pass the entrance test and enter the Formation Hall. Other disciples would simply give up and move on to another profession or just focus purely on improving their cultivation.

Not Fang Yu! She had kept trying, until she finally succeeded in entering the Formation Hall today!

The joy and elation Fang Yu felt upon hearing the elder saying that she was now a member of the Formation Hall, was immeasurable!

Back at the corner of the small area, Xuan Hao listened to the conversation among the three elders.

"It looks like Fang Yu will have a hard time in the future…" Muttering this to himself while looking at one specific elder among the three, Xuan Hao left the small area and returned to his former spot in front of the Formation Hall where he had been standing before Fang Yu left with the elder to take the entrance test.
