"What a Jerk!" Xing Yin mumbled to herself as she watched the obnoxious man disappear from her eyes' sight. She then rolled her eyes out of irritation. Seriously? Out of the hundreds of thousands of people in the city, why did she have to come across with that Zhang Chenric? Why was the owner of the motorcycle that man? Why can't it be anyone but him? While she searched for answers,enmity started to well up in her heart. But before this hate can expand and ruin her mood for the evening's party, she noticed her father, CEO Xing walking towards their table and was accompanied by a man who seemed to be of the same age as him. Was this businessman her father's new found friend? She hurriedly calmed herself down and fixed her appearance. She must not look annoyed or irritated or her father might misinterpret her emotions. Xing Yin inhaled deeply before she secured the hairpins that kept the strands of her hair in place. She then crossed her legs as she sat primly in the upholstered French armchair with a tailored seat cushion and rested her arms on its padded armrests whilst she waited for her father and his friend to get closer.Soon after her father and his friend were just only some few steps away from the table's location, she stood up and conditioned herself to give them her warmest greetings."Chairman Han, I would like you to meet my daughter, Xing Yin. Xing Yin, meet my new business partner Chairman Han." CEO Xing said as he introduced the two people to each other. "Good evening, Chairman Han. I am pleased to meet you. My name is Xing Yin." Xing Yin said as she extended her soft and delicate hand to shake the chairman's hand. "The pleasure is mine, Miss Xing!" The man said as he shook hands with Xing Yin and smiled warmly at her. "I envy you, CEO Xing! You are so lucky to have such a beautiful daughter." The chairman instantly praised Xing Yin's beauty."Thanks, Chairman Han. But you are even luckier than I am. You are blessed with a son." CEO Xing's reply somehow made Xing Yin feel uncomfortable. She wasn't unaware that her father wanted a son instead of a daughter like her.Of course, he wanted a son who will carry the Xing surname, not a daughter who'll change her surname right after her marriage. "Haha Let us just say that we are both lucky to have been blessed by wonderful offsprings." Chairman Han then said as to lighten up the unsettling mood he himself brought upon the three of them."Let's have a seat first. By the way, where's your son?" CEO Xing asked as the three of them sat down in the colorful Bergere. "I just sent him a text not too long ago and I'm still waiting for his reply." Chairman Han said as he threw a quick glance at the screen of his cellphone. "Your son must be a busy man. To be able to have his own company at an early age, I must commend him!" CEO Xing showered Chairman's Han son with praises."Hahaha! You flatter me too much. But honestly, he doesn't entirely own the company. He has a wealthy business partner backing him up." Chairman Han told CEO Xing the truth. "I see. But still, he's a business minded person, exactly what I am looking for a future son in law." CEO Xing said as he gave his daughter a side glance. However, Xing Yin wasn't paying attention to their conversation. She was busy thinking about what kind of punishment she'll receive from that troublesome Zhang Chenric. Soon after she sat down the upholstered chair and the two businessmen engaged themselves to a conversation, her mind started to drift away from the party as her head played a multitude of possible horrible scenarios of Zhang Chenric's punishment.First in her list was Zhang Chenric will force her to kiss his feet and make her beg for his mercy. However, Zhang Chenric didn't seem to be someone who'll just be satisfied with such light punishment. He'd probably do something much evil as to make her wear something inappropriate or something embarrassing like a sailor uniform or a bunny costume. But what if Zhang Chenric desired something more extreme than her first two ideas? What if he wanted to sexually abuse her and turn her to a sex slave?!Xing Yin's face flushed red as dirty thoughts of Zhang Chenric doing naughty things to her flooded inside her head. She then swallowed an invisible lump in her throat when she remembered how Zhang Chenric was too close enough for her to breathe his scent.Upon realizing that her latest idea of Zhang Chenric's punishment seemed to excite her and electrify all her veins, Xing Yin scolded herself inwardly. 'How dare you! Xing Yin, the only child of Xing Peter and the Xing Airlines' heiress get thrilled by impure thoughts about that jerk?! Are you fantasizing him?! Stop it this instant you little filth!'Not wanting to think about Zhang Chenric anymore, Xing Yin decided to excuse herself from the two businessmen to get herself an ice-cold drink that will kill the heat creeping slowly into her system."Excuse me, gentlemen. I would just like to see what's on the buffet table as well as get us refreshments." Xing Yin said smiling as she gracefully strode towards the buffet table."There's no need for you to do that. Just call someone to bring us drinks. And as for the menu, you can just ask my secretary about it." CEO Xing said,forcing Xing Yin to stay put and to remain in her seat. "Just let her do what she wants, CEO Xing. Besides, isn't it sweet how your daughter wants to personally bring us refreshments? I would really love to have such a sweet daughter in law in the future." Chairman Han replied as he gave Xing Yin a wink. 'Sweet? Who's sweet? And what daughter in law are you talking about?!' Xing Yin panic inwardly when she heard the words daughter in law.Was her father trying to hook her up with the businessman's son?! Uh-oh! Another major disaster was about to hit her hard right after the other.Was she cursed? Xing Yin can only take a lung of air as she smiled faintly on the two patriarchs and proceeded to get away from them as quickly as possible. She then directed herself to the buffet table, looking forward that the delicious meals will comfort her and make her forget all the misfortunes that came her way.As she indulged in the savory taste of every food put she placed on her plate, she failed to notice that a set of envious eyes had been following her from the moment she had stepped inside the banquet hall up to this point when she had decided to munch her meal.----------------------Zhang Chenric wore a smile of victory on his face as he walked out of the banquet hall. He dropped by the reception area to express his gratitude to the manager before he headed straight to the parking lot. As he moved toward the parking lot, Zhang Chenric took his phone out and dialed Lee Qingya's number.After only two rings, the person he was trying to connect to pick up his call."Lee, give the maid her month's worth of salary, then instruct her to pack her things and enjoy a month-long vacation with her family." Zhang Chenric's voice was clear and stern."Huh? Why so sudden, young master? Who'll do the household chores?" Lee Qingya asked as he got confused about the task Zhang Chenric gave him."I hired a new maid. I'll be picking her up tomorrow."Zhang Chenric replied as he got inside his car."Okay! Got it, young master. Anything else you want me to do for you?""That would be all for now. I'm hanging up." Zhang Chenric ended the call to start the engine of his car.Soon, he was on his way out of the hotel parking and unto the road back home.As he drove his way to their house, he began to think of how he can make Xing Yin's life miserable for a month.Actually, the new maid he referred to was none other than Xing Yin. He decided to make her his personal maid for a month, 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. And of course, that's for free. He won't be paying the heiress since it was a punishment she had to face. "Let' see... Hmm, maybe I should ask Lee's help to make things difficult for that headstrong heiress." Zhang Chenric mumbled to himself as he started to think of many silly things to annoy Xing Yin.For some unexplainable reason, he started to crave for Xing Yin's amusing facial reactions. He found her more attractive when she looked embarrassed, mad, or shocked. That's why he can't wait to make her his personal maid. So he can annoy her 8 hours a day, 7 days a week for the entire month.After minutes of driving on the road, Zhang Chenric had finally arrived at their house. He went straight to inside his study room and ordered Lee Qingya that he must not be disturbed for he had to do something of importance.The instant he sat down in the swivel chair, he picked up his pen and started listing down tasks that Xing Yin had to accomplish during the entire duration of her stay as his personal maid.On top of his tasks for Xing Yin was for her to take his dog, Bandit for a morning walk around the vicinity. Next was for her to buy him pastries and she had to make sure that everything was freshly made. Then, he'll make her clean all of their cars. Of course, he had to check on her from time to time to watch her get annoyed. "Can she cook? Should I make her cook us food?Hmm, maybe I should ask her to buy us groceries first?" Zhang Chenric contemplated making Xing Yin cook food for them or buy groceries instead."From the looks of her, she seems to be ignorant of household chores and can only make herself look cute and pretty at all times." Zhang Chenric can't help but belittle Xing Yin's capabilities. "Oh, well. Looks like this is going to be fun!" Zhang Chenric said as he added both cook lunch and buy groceries tasks on Xing Yin's Day 1 list as his personal maid.
