102 Tug of War

The moment the car had stopped in front of the mansion's main entrance, Wang Yuvin quickly reached out for the its door and opened it. He was slightly shocked to see his sister's head resting on Qin Sho's lap. With a worried look on his face he can't help but ask, "What happened?"

Almost forgetting his manners he added, "Thank you for bringing my sister home."

"I think it would be best to ask your sister that question when she wakes up." Qin Sho answered promptly as he swung Wang Reiji up in his strong arms.

"Please show me the way, I'll take her to her room." Qin Sho stood firm and straight as if Wang Reiji's weight meant nothing to him.

"We had caused you too much trouble already. I will bring her in her room, thank you." Wang Yuvin, seemingly against Qin Sho's proposal, tried snatching his sister away from Qin Sho's arms.

However, Qin Sho's grip on Wang Reiji's legs and shoulder tightened as he pulled her body closer to his.

"No, it's fine. I will take her to her room." Qin Sho insisted,

"No, I will bring her upstairs." Wang Yuvin suddenly became aggressive, as he grabbed on to his sister's legs and shoulder,.

'Are they playing tug of war all of a sudden?!' The conscious Wang Reiji silently asked herself.

Before things escalated, she then decided to end her pretense to walk herself upstairs.

"I will do it myself!" Wang Reiji then successfully freed herself from Qin Sho's grip as the two men watched her in silence.

"Thank you so much, Sho. I will make it up to you next time." As soon as she got on her two feet, Wang Reiji lowered her head down and expressed her gratitude to Qin Sho.

"It's not a big deal at all." Qin Sho replied with a smile.

"Let's get inside first. We already prepared some snacks and refreshments." Wang Yuvin said promptly.

Qin Sho was about to accept the invitation when he remembered the video his brother sent. Reluctantly, he turned down the invite so he can head home quickly to talk to Qin Rong.

"Thank you for your generosity. But we have to go now. I have a meeting at 7 am tomorrow."

"We understand. Thank you again and sorry for all the trouble." Wang Reiji lowered down her head again.

Qin Sho replied with a smile as he turned his back away from the siblings and went back inside his car.

As soon as Bai and Europa were outside, they immediately headed towards the staircase. However, Europa became worried that they left Misha behind. She then struggled to get down from Bai's arms that were already starting to numb from Europa's weight.

"Little Miss! What are you doing?" Exhausted from running while carrying Europa in her arms, Bai was forced to put Europa down the floor.

"Misha! She's afraid of mouse!" Europa said, her voice full of worry. "We need to go back and take her with us!" Europa cried.

"I will go back to take Misha. You go down and run to your uncle, okay?" Bai said as she tried to negotiate with the little girl.

"Okay." Europa agreed as she walked nearer the stairs.

Bai then held tightly on her remaining knife dagger and went inside the room to hunt for the big mouse.
