Wang Yuvin paused for some time to find his voice, took a deep breath then retorted.

"Nah. You can keep your shares to yourself, Chairman Xu. I have a bright future ahead of me and I would not dare exchange that only for some company shares. I'd rather create my own Hideout than stain my reputation with blood. Totally not worth it."

"Are you sure with that? What if the people you need to kill are bad people? Still no?"

"Your condition goes against my morals. I'm sorry and thank you for your time. I'll be leaving now." Wang Yuvin was about to get up from his seat when the chairman suddenly burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! I like you, lad. You are brave and did not hesitate to show defiance! Well, you passed my test! Congratulations!"

Chairman Xu complimented Wang Yuvin, smiling as if he found a gem in a pile of rubble.

"You know what, lad? You were the very first person to say no to me. In the past, people would hurriedly agree with my condition." Chairman Xu said as he gave out a bitter chuckle.

Wang Yuvin, slightly shocked, was still at loss for words with the sudden turn of events. What was happening now was utterly unbelievable, really shocking. With just like that? He will be able to own 30% of The Hideout? This was too good to be true!

"Huh! Fools. I will never let a person with a corrupted mind take over my share of The Hideout." Chairman Xu declared proudly as he signaled the head manager to bring him a pen and a piece of clean paper.

However, to his dismay, no matter how hard his eyes scanned the room, the head manager was nowhere to be seen.

"Why is the head manager not around?! Where is he?" Chairman Xu asked angrily as he stared daggers at his subordinates who were hiding behind the bamboo blinds.

"What are you kids waiting for?! Find the head manager and bring him here!"

"Calm down, Chairman Xu. The head manager probably just went out to check the main hall." Wang Yuvin said with calmness as he unconsciously averted his eyes from the irate chairman and directed them to one of the CCTV monitors.

There was nothing unusual on the footage except that the crowd inside the main hall was stationary.

'Why are they not dancing?' He thought to himself as his eyes carefully examined the scenario being shown on the monitor.

Based on the crowd's arrangement, it seemed like they were spectating something. And since they were on the dance floor Wang Yuvin assumed that they were just watching a dance showdown. However, when he looked at a different monitor, it was showing otherwise.

As his eyes automatically changed their focus, it was when Wang Yuvin started to get a hold of what was happening inside the main hall.

The crowd was indeed spectating a showdown. However, it was not a dance battle but a fistfight in which Qin Rong was in total control of the brawl.

Wait, who?

Wang Yuvin squinted his eyes, staring seriously at the screen, making sure if the guy was his friend.

After a critical observation, he then realized that the guy was really Qin Rong.

Without delay, he excused himself from the meeting and dashed his way to the main hall, leaving behind a confused Chairman Xu.

"What's going on?! Where are they disappearing to?" Chairman Xu remained clueless until he saw what's on the screen.

"Send the security in!" Chairman Xu growled as he headed to the main hall as well.

The sudden burst of pain jolted Kim Yang's knees causing him to drop to the ground. He was sweating profusely and his lower lip was already bleeding due to the punches he received.

Seeing his friend's sorry state, Yugo decided to step into the fight and help Kim Yang. Driven by impulse, he grabbed an empty bottle of beer and moved behind Qin Rong. He then raised his hand to hit him with the empty bottle.

Much to his surprise, a strong force tightly grabbed his wrist which caused him to drop the bottle to the floor.

The shattering sound of the bottle alerted Qin Rong as he quickly turned his body around to see what was happening behind him.

"B-bro?" Qin Rong huffed and stared at Wang Yuvin whose hand was firmly gripping a man's wrist.

"Bro, step back. You already endured too much. Let me take it from here." Wang Yuvin said without taking his eyes off Yugo.

Kim and Yugo exchanged glances as if they were mentally talking to each other. Both were stunned when they recognized who the guy was.

Yugo who was feeling nervous some moments ago was now brimming with excitement the instant he remembered their bets earlier that day.

He then forcefully withdrew his wrist from Wang Yuvin's grip. However, the more he struggled the tighter the grip became, making him shriek of the spreading pain.

"Aghh! Let go of me! Fight fair coward!"

The instant Yugo's words reached Wang Yuvin's ears, the latter immediately freed the former from his tight grip. Taking that as an opportunity to strike back, Yugo attempted to roll his hand under Wang Yuvin's wrist to pull him backward and down. Unfortunately, Wang Yuvin's quick reflex allowed him to slap Yugo's hand before it can reach him. He then grabbed Yugo by his collar and pulled him near his face as he stared at him with eyes full of bloodlust.

"Fair? Was grabbing a bottle and sneaking up behind someone fair to you?"

Yugo wanted to move, but his body was too scared to even blink his eyes. Never in his sheltered life, he saw a pair of eyes with such intense bloodlust that his entire system was screaming 'This guy's a danger!'
