"Let's make this a little simple so that we do not waste each other's time," said Anna while emitting a very dangerous aura from her body. And after a slight pause, she immediately added. "If you manage to survive three of my attacks, then I am going to let you off just once."

The corner David's mouths suddenly twitched the moment he heard that. 'Just once? Is she telling me that I am still dead when she sees me after this day?'

He was still in the middle of his thoughts when he saw Anna covered her body with an Internal Qi that looked like a blue-colored flame.

After that, she immediately said. "Don't worry, I'll go easy on you."

David didn't even have time to respond to her words when Anna suddenly disappeared from her spot, which sent a chill that ran down at his spine. 'F*ck you! Going easy on me? Or are you telling me that you are going to kill me real fast?'

Regardless of his thought, he was already moving his body according to his battle instincts. He made a snap with his fingers and created a transparent sphere around him in an instant.

After that, he immediately clasped his hands together and released a silver-colored Mental Energy from his body which quickly reinforced the transparent barrier around him. And that was the exact moment when Anna suddenly appeared in front of him.

But despite how sturdy his barrier, it was immediately shattered the moment Anna threw a straight punch at it.

But even if that was the case, David still didn't panic as he calmly raised his hand and placed his palm at the incoming fist before absorbing the force being sent at him.

When Anna saw how David negated her attack without suffering any injury, she couldn't help but praise the latter's reflex and battle senses. 'Truly worthy of being one of the greatest geniuses among his peers.'

"That is one, big sister," said David while rotating right wrist.

Hearing that, Anna felt that she was being underestimated by this kid. Given that, she started to smirk and said. "Do not get too corky, kid."

After that, she gathered blue-flame Internal Qi on her right-hand fist. She did it until her fist was glowing with bluish-white light. After that, she disappeared once again just like earlier and reappeared right in front of David in an instant while throwing a punch straight to the latter's face.

But right before that fist landed on his face, David suddenly leaned backwards as he tried to dodge that attack.

He felt the cutting sensation of the air current when Anna's punch flew past above him which made him break in a cold sweat. 'I guess she is really trying to kill me.'

He was still in the middle of his thoughts when Anna suddenly took a forward step with her right foot before doing a quick turned around while throwing a downward punch at David.

'Oh, F*ck!' David couldn't help but curse the moment he saw that. Regardless, he still did everything he could to protect himself from the incoming glowing fist; he covered both his arms with a bunch of silver-colored Mental Energy before crossing it in front of his face. On top of that, he created another wall of Mental Energy in above him to lessen the impact of the incoming fist.

David was smashed on the ground very powerfully after being hit by the attack. The ground beneath him created a small crater due to the impact. And right after being smashed for a moment, his body immediately bounced back in the air.

At the same time, Anna used the momentum of her previous movements to do a quick flip while throwing a powerful kick at David's abdomen. And due to how fast her actions, David finally had no time to defend himself from this strike.

Bang!

David was smashed on the ground once again. But this time, he didn't bounce back because Anna's leg was pressing down at him.

After that, Anna stood up and fixed her office coat as if nothing had happened. From the looks of it, she was confident that those attacks were more than enough to knock David out. But surprisingly it wasn't the case.

"Ugh! Come on~, big sister! You clearly said that you are going easy on me. Then why are you so ruthless on your attacks?" said David painfully while embracing his stomach on the ground.

Anna frowned her eyebrows when she saw that. From what she could see, the guy didn't even suffer any kind of injury despite taking that hit directly. 'This guy is really not that simple.'

A moment later, David suddenly sat up straight and looked at Anna and asked. "That was just the second attack, right? But can you let me off the hook this time?"

He then paused for a moment before saying with an innocent face. "I am not sure who is the young miss that you are talking about. But given that I just arrived on this continent and there is only a single time when I exchange some blows against someone, then I am guessing that you are from the Springfield Family, right?"

Anna didn't reply at him and just squinted her eyes. And when David saw that, he immediately felt that she was going to attack on the very next moment. So, to prevent that from happening, he immediately raised both of his hands in the air and tried to defend himself.

"I promise that it was just a misunderstanding! I am only defending myself at that time! Your young miss suddenly turned into a tigress before attacking me! I swear that I didn't do anything at that time!"

Seeing that Anna still didn't want to believe him, David immediately added. "If you still do not believe me then you can bring me to your young miss, and I will prove my innocence."

Anna raised one of her eyebrows before sneering. "Oh~! Is that so? Then come with me and let's see if you are telling me the truth. But if it turns out that you are telling lies – then I can kill you, right?"

David couldn't help but hesitate for a moment after he heard that. He then gulped a mouthful of saliva as he could already imagine his outcome when things suddenly go for the worst. But no matter how unwilling he was, he knew that he had no other choice.

So, all he could do was to release a helpless sigh before agreeing with her. But before they moved out, Anna suddenly asked. "Why don't you clean yourself first with your Metal Energy? You are a talented Mentalist, yet you can't do such a trivial thing?"

Hearing that, David couldn't help but release another helpless sigh before replying. "If only I could do it, then I already did it ages ago. But the foul smell given by the '5-star Demon Skunk' and the stains from the ink of a '5-star Sea Devil' are impossible to be removed with my current strength."

He paused for another moment before continuing. "I don't have any problem if it is only going to battle or kill them. But removing these is a completely different story."

After confirming her suspicion, Anna stared at David for a moment while thinking. 'So, he really did battle those Monster Beasts, huh? His real strength should be as strong as the 'Stars' of each Continent. And since Young Miss is looking for a good sparring partner, this guy should be a perfect candidate.'

After that, she said to David. "Since you 'disturb' a lot of business on this place to that point that they reported you to the military, I am sure that those special forces will not let you off even if I did. And due to that, you are most likely going to be under monitoring after this incident."

She paused for a moment before continuing. "But I heard that you saved young master Shin's life in Michigan City. So, the Springfield Family will surely return the favor."

"For now, you need to come with those guys peacefully for your statement while I am going to report this matter to Master Nathan. Please wait for our people to fetch you on the base and don't make any unnecessary trouble to avoid any problems from arising."

"We know that you really like making trouble for any Underworld Organizations, but this is not a good time to do so. The continent is quite in a mess these past few days, so we can't guarantee your safety if you don't comply with our arrangements; especially if your enemies suddenly started popping out of nowhere."

David stared at her while she was saying all of those. At the same time, he was thinking to himself. 'Looks like they really knew about my habits every time I 'visit' a continent, huh? Fortunately, my master only gave me a single job this time.'

And since he didn't have much choice, all he could do was to agree with her.

Anna was about to turn around and leave David behind, when the latter suddenly called out for her. "Wait! Big Sister!"

Anna halted her tracks and turned at him with a questioning look. Seeing that, David didn't hesitate any longer and asked. "Ahm… before you go, can you help remove these stains and foul smell attached to me?"

Hearing that, Anna started smirking and said. "And why would I?"

After that, he turned her body around and left David who was staring blankly on her back. A moment later, David finally recovered himself and started cursing. "F*ck this life!"
