The Saber-toothed Tiger King wagged its tail in a friendly manner at Shen Fei and the others. Then, it walked around the Black Sun elegantly. It went in front of the Black Sun and growled a few times.

“Is it asking you if you’re willing to let it come with you?” Shen Fei asked the Black Sun.

The Black Sun shook its head slightly. The Saber-toothed Tiger King suddenly showed a regretful expression, then lay on the ground and licked the Black Sun as though it was begging.

“Graar…” The Black Sun let out a strange cry, like it was telling the Saber-toothed Tiger King to stop pestering it.

At this, the Saber-toothed Tiger King growled twice in a low voice. It then stood up, and walked back into the depths of the forest.

“Sigh…” Shen Fei sighed.

“Graar?” The Black Sun looked at him with a confused expression. It did not understand what Shen Fei meant by that sigh.

“You are the Saber-toothed Tiger King’s final obsession. It won’t stop until it reaches its goal,” Shen Fei said.

The Black Sun nodded and did not prompt him for more explanation.

“Roar!” The Saber-toothed Tiger King let out a low roar of anger before it disappeared fully into the forest depths.

“Graar!” The Black Sun let out a strange cry.

The Saber-toothed Tiger King responded from a distance with another deep and angry roar.

The Black Sun, as though it was provoked, suddenly leaped up and dove at the Saber-toothed Tiger King. The Saber-toothed Tiger King roared loudly and its entire body exploded with metal-attribute spiritual Qi that emitted a dazzling golden light. The golden spiritual energy churned, and a fearsome aura spread out, causing everyone to become extremely frightened.

The Black Sun was not to be outdone, and it, too, released its own golden spiritual energy.

Within a split second, there was an explosive sound that echoed through the area. The two spiritual energies collided, forming a storm that swept all over the place.

The Saber-toothed Tiger King was violently catapulted away.
