Chapter 103 - 103 Trapping Him In The Wormhole

103 Trapping Him In The Wormhole

The more Lear spoke, the angrier he became. Once again, he raised his hand and smacked the Golden-winged Roc’s head.

After being smacked by Lear, the Golden-winged Roc shook its head, looking like it was in extreme pain.

“What are you still doing?” Lear pointed angrily at the black dot in the distance that was getting smaller. “Hurry up and catch up to them!”

Whirr, whirrr…

The Ancient Great Dragonfly quickly landed on an empty spot. It lowered its body and let its wings descend steadily to the ground.

“We can’t continue like this!” Luo Ying frowned, holding Li Ruoying in her arms tightly as she walked down from the dragonfly’s wings.

More blood flowed out of Li Ruoying’s neck. In just a short while, her pale face was as white as paper. It was as though she would be gone with another light flick.

Luo Ying, without thinking too much, quickly tore off a part of her clothing and used it as a bandage to tie it around her neck.

Luo Ying wrapped Li Ruoying’s wound in panic. However, no matter how she did up the bandage, the bleeding seemed unstoppable, and it continued to flow out from Li Ruoying’s wound.

Looking at the blood soaking up the bandage, Luo Ying stopped what she was doing in despair.

“Damn it, if only there were hemostatic drugs here…”

“You mean this?” Upon hearing this, Shen Fei immediately took out a bottle of pills from his storage ring and handed it to Luo Ying.

These pills were something he had found when he was taking supplies from the mayor’s mansion, precisely to deal with such unexpected situations. “What do you think of this?”

“Let me see.” Luo Ying took the small medicine bottle, and as soon as she removed the cork, a strong medicinal fragrance promising strong healing power spread out from the mouth of the bottle.

“This… can be used, and I think the effect will be good!”

Luo Ying quickly put the medicine bottle over to the wound on Li Ruoying’s neck and flicked it gently. Light green medicinal powder fell directly onto Li Ruoying’s neck, and the wound instantly condensed into a hard green scab, stopping the wound.

Luo Ying looked in surprise at the wound on Li Ruoying’s neck which had stopped bleeding. “It works! Thank you for your medicine!” She quickly wrapped Li Ruoying’s neck carefully with another piece of cloth.

“It’s good that it can be used.” Shen Fei reached out to pick up the medicine bottle and was about to put it back into his storage ring…

“Wait.” Luo Ying suddenly grabbed Shen Fei’s hand and looked at him with a sincere gaze. “Can you give me more of the medicine in the bottle? I can pay twenty thousand to buy five grams of that powder.”

“You don’t have to buy it. Just take the bottle.” Shen Fei passed the used medicine bottle to Luo Ying. He still had at least a hundred bottles like this in his storage ring.

“Many thanks!” Luo Ying looked at the small medicine bottle in her hand excitedly and carefully put it into her pocket.

The way she looked at Shen Fei instantly changed. She originally thought that Shen Fei was just an average yet competent junior. She did not expect him to be so generous.

It seemed that he was the young master of a big family in the city he was from.

Thinking of this, Luo Ying discreetly glanced at the ring on Shen Fei’s hand.

It was a pity that although she was quite interested in him, it seemed he was already engaged.

‘I wonder who’s the lucky woman.’

Rustle!

A sound suddenly came from the grass in the distance. Luo Ying immediately looked at it warily.

‘Someone’s approaching!’

“Don’t be nervous.” Shen Fei lightly patted Luo Ying’s back. “It’s not an enemy.

“You’re faster than I thought.” Aloy pushed aside the grass and waved at the two of them. “Since you’ve found them, hurry up and come with me.”

“There’s no rush.” Shen Fei firmly shook his head. “If you want to go back, you can go back first. I still have something important to do here.”

“You’d better hurry up,” Aloy frowned and looked worriedly at the jungle in the distance.

The longer they stayed in the wormhole, the more active the exotic beasts were. The danger level would also increase by several times. If this continued, even more dangerous existences would wake up in the depths of the wormhole.

By then, it would be difficult to get out.

“There’s no hurry. It won’t take much time to kill him anyway.”

After saying this, Shen Fei raised his head and looked at Lear—still in mid-air—with a hint of killing intent in his eyes.

He had never thought of exterminating Lear. But the older man had challenged his patience time and time again, and he almost implicated Luo Ying.

‘This son of a b*tch has to die!’

Looking at the brand new beast under Lear’s feet, Aloy frowned, and her eyes focused on it.

‘In such a short period of time, Lear actually tamed another beast? And judging from the beast’s appearance, it was at least Duke-rank! It had terrifying speed!

It seemed that her previous judgment was correct: Lear definitely could not be left alive!

But…

Aloy looked at the docile Golden-winged Roc under Lear and her thoughts wavered a little.

If she were to kill him directly, his beast taming technique would disappear with him.

If they had been able to master the technique of taming exotic beasts earlier, humans would not have lost so badly!

Lear indeed deserved to die, but only after he was drained of all his value!

“I know you hate him.” Aloy placed her hand on Shen Fei’s shoulder as she kept looking for an excuse in her heart.

As long as she could trap Lear in this wormhole, she would be able to use the observation equipment she had set up here in advance to continuously observe Lear’s way of taming exotic beasts!

If she tried a few more times, she might be able to tame those beasts freely like Lear!

“Shen Fei, think about it before you act.”

He’s the organizer of this year’s examination, and carries a surveillance crystal with him. If anything happens to him, the video recording of his death will immediately be broadcasted to others. If that happens, even I can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to get out of that unscathed.”

Upon hearing this, Shen Fei immediately frowned. “So you’re saying that I can’t do anything to him?”

“It’s just that you can’t directly attack him.” Aloy smiled as she looked at Shen Fei. “I happen to have a trick that can not only take revenge on him, but also spare you from any punishment!”

“Huh? Then tell me.” Shen Fei looked at Aloy with a curious expression.

“We just need to trap him in the wormhole and make sure he can’t come out.”

At this, Aloy pointed at the pathfinding crystal on Shen Fei’s wrist.

“Almost all of us need to rely on this crystal to distinguish the direction of the wormhole. Then, as long as we find a way to break Lear’s crystal, he won’t be able to get out of here!”
