Chapter 418 - The Person Backing Yuan Meng

'Ohh a spicy one."

Right after the nurse banged the door in anger. Yang Kun narrowed his eyes and licked his lips once again before turning to his father.

"Ahem about that man, do you know who he is or anything related to him."

Mr Yang cleared his throat without saying a word about Yang Kun's lecherous behaviour.

There was no way that he would say something because it was him who made him like this.

"No dad, but her previous husband's name also started with the surname Ye."

Yang Kun thought before recalling the name which was mentioned in the file.

"What was the name you read in the file again?"

He asked nonchalantly.

"Here it's written that the man with her was Ye Qian."

Mr Yang said while handing the file to his son.

"Hmm, this is the same man if I were to remember."

"I had got some information about her from the office back then, and it also had the same name as her file."

"So what do you want me to do now?"

After a moment of thought, Mr Yang asked.

"It would be better if we were to wrap him once and for all."

"But I feel that there is something wrong with the situation. ARGH"

Yang Kun said while trying to sit properly.

There was no injury on his body but it still ached a lot.

"Take some rest."

He said while turning to the Doctor and continued.

"When will he be discharged?"

"Mr Yang, you can take young master after a few procedures right away."

The Doctor quickly said while extending his hand, but seeing Mr Yang glaring at him he didn't dare to get it right away.

With that, Mr Yang walked to the side of the room and dialled a number while fishing out his phone.

"Yes, it would be better if he is not seen again, ever."

"I will send you their address."

Saying that he started at the photo of a man.

Or more accurately the photo of Ye Qian.

While arriving back to the Star City, he had inquired a lot of information about Ye Qian with the help of some of the police officers who wanted to get acquainted for a long time.

He had right away got the information about his son's accident even before the Doctor had called him and the person who called him was none other than the Police Director.

After knowing the details about everything he had used his wide network to find the information about Ye Qian and Yuan Meng.

Though he felt that he had seen Yuan Meng somewhere, he was not able to accurately say where it was, but after Yang Kun's specification, he remembered about her.

"A person who had been missing for years or considered dead suddenly appeared out of nowhere and there his family is completely fine with this?"

He mumbled while looking closely at Ye Qian's image which was taken by the police officer from the files of the dead people.

He walked back to the Yang Kun who was staring at him and said with a playful smile.

"You will have her in a few days."

"Thanks, Dad."

Yang Kun grinned, he would have jumped from the bed if not for the still aching pain in his body.

"Young Master Yang, you need to rest for a couple of days before going back to work."

The Doctor suggested while carefully taking the police report which he had made.

Yang Kun only glanced at him with slight disgust and grunted.

"Thanks, Mr Yang, I will take my leave"

Swallowing the anger, the Doctor said before turning around and walking out of the ICU. and sighed in relief while walking back to his office.

"Dad, but I asked Uncle to help me pressure Yuan Meng out of the school."

After the Doctor left Yang Kun informed thinking that it would be better if he were to tell his father.

"Do you think; I would never have tried to do that?"

Mr Yang smiled wryly.

"Huh?"

"You are my Yang Bo's son; I would of course help you if you want a woman."

Mr Yang sat on the stool while looking into Yang Kun's eyes and continued.

"But every time I tried to force the Board of Directors or bribe them, it would result in nothing."

"In fact, they even didn't take the money."

He said while shaking his head.

"Who in their right mind would deny of getting money."

Yang Kun thought before his eyes widened as he muttered with a gasp.

"Is there someone who is backing her and they are even more powerful than us Dad?"

He was not an idiot to not understand that if one even denied accepting money for a favour.

In fact, he himself was given his job in High School after bribing a tremendous amount of money.

And he clearly knew that even if there was nothing you had except riches, you would be able to get anything if you want.

But there was always something that his father thought to him about.

"Do you remember what I used to say?"

Mr Yang asked after a moment of thinking.

"Hmm, even if you have all the riches of the world, you won't be able to beat those who have higher background and power behind them."

Yang Kun muttered in a daze.

"You mean to say that Yuan Meng has such a powerful person backing her that none from the Board of Directors dare to do anything to her?"

Mr Yang smiled dryly and then shook his head.

"I got to know from then that there is not only one but two of them who are backing her."

"Who?"

"The first person is, Chief Long of the Long Group."

"Though he is similar in the power to which we have, he has little to no power outside the City, doesn't he?"

Yang Kun asked.

"Yes, it's true indeed; the Board of Directors won't dare to give me face if it was only that brat, but there are still other ones."

"And the Board isn't even willing to say who it is."
