Chapter 406 - It Takes A Lot Of Time To Get Ready!

In the living room.

Ning Wei almost staggered and would have fallen on her face if she had not balanced herself after hearing Little Jia's exclamation.

Though it was true in a way, it sounded a bit different when one was to think of it as a completely unaware person.

With how the little girl said, it felt like Ye Qian and Ning Wei loved each other and Ye Qian had gifted her the dress and that was why she was wearing it to show how it looked on her.

But there was no other option.

She had not brought any clothes with her yesterday after they went to her house.

She had wanted to go back to her house if she had not felt that immense pain in her stomach in the morning.

This was what she had planned since she knew that they would be going to the party during the evening while getting back with some clothes for herself and Jia while coming back after some time.

But with the sudden onslaught of the pain in her stomach made her not even move out of the house much less be able to walk to her own house and come back.

This dress she knew was bought by Ye Qian yesterday and she thought of trying it on under Yuan Meng and Little Qiqi's persuasion or she might have worn the same dress which she had worn when she came to Ye Qian's house that day.

But after thinking that it had that weird smell of her body due to the situation from before. (Ye Qian's form changing making her release some of her bodily secretions)

She didn't dare to wear them without washing. 

She feared that the old women would notice the smell and look at her in a weird manner if she were to wear those clothes which were already smelling like her secretions.

Ning Wei stole glances at Ye Qian while her face was still flushed red.

'Sigh, it's good that he is not like others.'

She sighed in relief after noticing that there was no change in his expression even after Little Jia's words, but in fact, there was worry.

'He must be worried since I was about to fall.'

She felt sweet in her head and shook her head lightly seeing the worried look in Ye Qian's eyes.

'I thought that she was still feeling unwell.'

Ye Qian nodded.

Ning Wei walked slowly towards then carefully handed Little Qiqi to Ye Qian who was already extending her tiny hands eagerly.

"You didn't have to bring her like this, what if it were to make you have difficulty." 

Ye Qiam lightly smiles while taking Little Qiqi off her hands.

"I am completely fine."

Ning Wei felt sweet while she smiled.

"As you say."

Ye Qian nodded and then turned his attention to Little Qiqi who was yearning for his praises.

"Wow, my Butterfly looks so beautiful."

"Hehe, Papa, Qiqi wore the dress you chose for me."

The little girl grinned while hiding her mouth which looked adorable and exclaimed.

While there were many of the dresses which the girls chose for themselves along with their mothers, there were some that Ye Qian chose for them.

And the ones that Little Qiqi and Little Jia were wearing right now were chosen by him.

"I know dear."

Ye Qian nodded and then asked with his brows high.

"Where is your Mumma?"

"Mumma was making her hair, she will be coming anytime soon."

Little Qiqi thought and then answered.

"It's taking a lot for her to get ready."

Ye Qian mumbled silently, but hearing he mumbled, the women around him narrowed their eyes and glared at him.

Ye Qian felt a shiver down his spine as he glanced around and saw that all the ladies were glaring at him.

Ye Qian quivered in fear and sat back on the sofa not saying any word.

'Haah, why won't she take more time, she is getting ready for you, I was the same.'

Ning Wei muttered in her heart while she glanced at herself and sighed.

Ye Qian had not said anything to her after seeing her. 

She knew that she should not be feeling like this, but she was feeling a bit jealous and sad while; thinking of this.

And no matter how much she tried to not think about this, this thought would pop in her haet every now and then.

Within less than a minute a woman walked out.

Looking at her everyone's eyes were wide open.

The woman in front of them could only be considered as a fairy.

She was beautiful and was surrounded by a graceful aura which gave off a sense of worshipping her.

'She is really the most beautiful lady I have ever seen.'

Yu Lan and her friends thought while having a sense of admiration in their hearts as they looked at Yuan Meng who was smiling at all of them.

The smile was also enough for her to make most of them wonder if she was even really Yuan Meng or a fairy who looked a bit similar to Yuan Meng.

She was wearing a maroon party dress while a pair of beautiful glistening earrings.

Her hair formed many curls and appeared like waterfalls.

She had a simple hairpin that appeared like a copper stick.

But on her dark brown hair, it only made the ones who look at it mesmerised by the crust of her hairs.

Most of the curls were on her shoulder while others looked like they were floating in the air.

Yuan Meng glanced at all of the people who were staring at her with their eyes with a sense of satisfaction.

No matter how much she showed herself, she was still a woman and would be loved to be praised.

She glanced around and then her sight landed on Ye Qian who was smiling at him with a pleasant shock on his face.

She walked to him and then walked towards him.
