Chapter 405 - I Will Get A Job!

Ye Qian was wearing a simple T-shirt, a pair of Jeans and a jacket that Yuan Meng and Ning Wei selected for him yesterday.

Since there was no other option for him to wear any of his old clothes.

Ye Qian would only use the new ones that were thought of just yesterday.

All of his old clothes were either short or looked too old fashioned.

And he didn't want Yuan Meng or the little girls to think that since they were wearing something nice and he was still wearing some old clothes which were not even perfect for his size.

Ye Qian had already placed all of their clothes in the cupboards of the bedroom after he arrived at night.

While the clothes which were for him were kept with him along with the money and other stuff in the Samsara Ring.

"Son, is she the little girl that Meng want to have?"

Grandpa Xiao sat close to Ye Qian and asked while looking at Xiao Ya who was playing with Grandma Ya.

"Hmm, yes dad."

"Your mother talked to me about it, we don't really have anything to say in that matter, but just take care of the child."

"Yes dad, don't be worried about that, Mengmeng and I will treat her the same as Qiqi and Jia."

"Hmm, have you decided to do some job now that you are back?"

Grandpa Xiao asked with a serious face.

"I know that the little girl had been really working hard and always used to send a bit of money to us, but after seeing the condition, I know that it had been really hard for her."

Grandpa Xiao sighed while looking at the photo that was hung on the wall of the living room.

It had four people.

It was the same photo that was hung in their bedroom.

It was the photo of Ye Qian and Yuan Meng's marriage.

"SIGH"

It would have been better if the little girl had stayed with us, even if the money we get is less in the town, it is still enough since the expenses are not as much as the cities.

"But we were also worried about the child's studies, so allowed her to go."

"But now that I think of it, I shouldn't have allowed her to come here."

He sighed once more and then stared at Ye Qian sternly.

"What have you thought of doing later?"

"Dad, I will find a job to help Mengmeng take care of the house."

Ye Qian said with a serious face.

He could understand why Grandpa Xiao was thinking like this.

Now that he was back, he would have to take some responsibility for Yuan Meng and Little Qiqi.

And he shouldn't be staying like this all the time at home.

Well that was what any after would think after seeing how the situation was.

He had seen Yuan Meng talk about work and since Ye Qian had appeared back now, it was his responsibility as the man of the house to take care of things related to such.

According to Grandpa Xiao who was from a simple family, Ye Qian should find a job and help Yuan Meng to get the family back to how it was before.

Just like what a simple man would do for his family.

And in a sense, Grandpa Xiao's thought seemed right to Ye Qian.

Well, this was what he had been doing before he died so there was no problem if she were to find a job to help Yuan Meng stabilize their situation.

'Even if I was able to get a lot of money while selling charms to that girl, I can't rely on that for long.'

'Maybe there is a chance that next time I go out to sell charms, no one would believe in my words.'

'Maybe what Dad is saying is right; I should help Mengmeng for the time.'

'I can always find a way or other to get more money, but for the time being, just so as to help her out and not make her life like before, I must find some job for the time.'

'I am not worried about myself, but I will have to help Mengmeng, Wei and the little girls to start cultivating, though Mengmeng has that emerald bone, I still have to understand about it.'

'Wei will need a lot of time and resources if I were to help her start cultivating.'

Ye Qian thought and glanced at Little Jia who had her head rested on his arms while she pursed her lips while looking at the door every now and then.

'I need to find a way out for her as well, and it should be before anything happens.'

"CLICK"

Ye Qian's train of thought was shuffled when he heard the sound of the door being opened.

Everyone looked at the room and saw that it was none other than Ning Wei walking out while holding Little Qiqi in her arms.

Ning Wei was also behaving just like Xiao Ya when she had walked out of the room.

She had a light blush on her cheeks as she took a peek at Ye Qian every now and then while still having her head low.

"Aunt Wei, Qiqi will go to Papa herself, you don't have to pick Qiqi up."

Little Qiqi smiled while waving her tiny hand at Ye Qian excitedly with a beaming smile on her face.

"Hmm."

Ning Wei nodded while she brought her head up and glanced at Ye Qian who was smiling at them with a gentle look in his eyes.

"Wow, Mom looks really beautiful in that dress."

Little Jia exclaimed while she glanced at Ning Wei with her eyes wide open.

"Hehe, it's the same dress that Papa chose for Mom."

Little Jia giggled as she remembered and pointed out.

"Umm, that..."

Ning Wei staggered as she almost fell while slipping on the floor.

The way Little Jia said, it sounded that Ye Qian had gifted Ning Wei the dress.

And though it was indeed true, it still made her feel something else making her cheeks scarlet.
