Chapter 370 - Finding Needle In A Farm Full Of Hay

Thinking of all this Brother Chen shivered as the fine hair on his body stood up and his scalp also felt numb.

Never had he felt so dreadful and afraid in front of anyone.

But this simple yet calm looking man gave him the feeling of as if he was standing in front of a beast who would have the ability to even rip apart men in a blink of an eye.

Brother Chen felt that not only was the killing intent of Ye Qian so much concentrated but it was so much in quantity as well that it had started to materialize itself in various kinds of images behind Ye Qian.

And those images were not something that Brother Chen could understand, but one thing was for sure.

The more he looked at them, the more dreadful he felt.

"Uncle Chen, Uncle Chen, what do you mean by that?"

The voice of the woman sounded a few more times as Brother Chen continued to stand there in a daze as he remembered the scene which he saw at night yesterday.

"Young Miss, are you sure that your Brother-in-law is normal?"

"Huh?"

"What kind of question is that?"

Ji's confused voice sounded from the other side.

She was definitely thinking if this Uncle Chen's mind was fine or not.

"Umm, I mean he seems like something and feels like something completely different."

Brother Chen explained as he tried to know from Ji.

Since Ji had known Ye Qian for a long time, then Brother Chen was sure that she must know something or the other about him as well.

"No, Uncle Chen, I think you have thought something wrong, that guy is barely able to beat someone and only on rare occasions will be hurt, anyone."

"He is always calm and sensible, he doesn't even understand if any woman were to flirt with him."

"Hehe, even I don't know how he survived like this."

Ji's light giggle was heard as she broke into a pearl of laughter thinking about Ye Qian and his behaviour once again.

"Alright."

"I will notify you if there is anything suspicious."

Brother Chen sighed and shook his head as he thought of what his Young Miss was talking about the man and what he was watching with his own eyes in front of him.

"Thanks a lot for taking care of my Big Sister, Uncle Chen."

Ji thanked them while she ended the call.

'Do we even need to be here, it's just like we are of no use.'

He muttered in his heart.

"It's no problem, this is Old master's will, we should abide by it."

"Besides, Big Miss has never asked for anything and nor does she want anything from you guys, but why are you still behind her."

Brother Chen sighed and sat on the bamboo stool while he ate a few noodles.

"We need to be careful when the party begins, maybe they will send a couple of men to harm Big Miss from the shadows while taking advantage of the crowd during the party."

Brother Xiao finished his bowl and his eyes narrowed as he thought.

"Yes, though I have determined that there won't be many people, there will be 60 or so for sure."

The guys in front of him nodded and one of them noted down.

"I don't know why none of them has yet tried to do anything to the Big Miss, but this calm atmosphere is a lot worse than if there were a few of men who had come to trouble Big Miss."

"Yes, I also think the same, does Brother Chen mean that they know that we are here and so are unwilling to harm Big Miss?"

The young man said while rubbing his chin.

"This might be, there have been little to no movement which would make us suspicious that it was those two fellows who were behind the situations."

Brother Chen marked while waving his pen on the small notepad.

"That is indeed true, those hoodlums from before didn't seem like there was any relation of them with those two."

The young man nodded while the one beside him continued.

"Indeed, and from the looked of it, they seemed to have coveted our Big Miss, it was good that we dumped them away, I just wanted to break their bones till they were pebbles."

He gritted his teeth in anger.

"Haha, don't worry, Big Miss is indeed beautiful and there are bound to be many men trying to pester her, but see, she has not wavered all this time."

Brother Chen laughed out and glanced at the house which although looked small than the Mansion of the Yuan's but was still kept tidy and clean.

Though there were some cracks here and there due to the weather and loss of the layer of paint.

He then continued.

"Still living in this house with her daughter for all these years, and now her husband is back."

"Indeed I have never seen anyone with such perseverance and boundless faith in someone else."

The young man looked at awe and respect in his eyes as he thought of how his Big Miss might have handled all this by herself.

"But, you two brats, you won't be able to find someone who is as good as our Big Miss, so try your hardest to find someone who is good for you later on."

Brother Chen blurted while patting the two young men on the back with such strength that they almost fell on their faces.

"Hehe, Brother Chen, that ...."

The two turned around and smiled wryly.

"It's quite hard to find girls these days, and even harder to find someone like our Big Miss."

The older looking one chuckled to which his other brother nodded and continued.

"Yeah, Brother Chen, you telling us to find a wife for us is like, asking for us to find a needle in a haystack."

"And finding someone like Big Miss will be like finding a Needle on a farm filled with haystacks."
