Chapter 363 - Who Is That Little Girl?

'I can tell that they want to protect us, but why?'

Ye Qian thought as he looked around at the small shop that was present on another side of the street.

There was a small noodle cart on the other side of their house with a few men who seemed to be working at the construction site.

But Ye Qian had not seen anyone at the site since the day he came home, and the construction also seemed to have been stopped.

Ever since he came back home, Ye Qian had never heard any sound of any machines or vehicles at the construction site.

It appeared as if it was abandoned and there was some really major reason for that.

Though that Mr Su from the Long Group appeared that day for forcing Yuan Meng to sell the house to them, there was nothing after that.

'Strange, why the construction also seems to have halted.'

Ye Qian shrugged his shoulder which looking at the giant building frames that were propped from eh ground but it looked completely silent.

It also gave off a chilli aura, making anyone feel that there was something dangerous hiding in it.

'It seems like a ghost!'

'Ohh so that's why, but I won't do anything unless it tries to harm us.'

Ye Qian again extended his Spirit Sense all around the construction site and looked carefully.

To his surprise, there was a faint evil aura in one of the buildings.

But Ye Qian was not worried about it as he turned to Yuan Meng who was waiting for him for a long time.

As soon as he turned around, Ye Qian saw that Yuan Meng was looking at him with a judging look and the same was for the little girl, Xiao Ya, in her arms.

"Hehe, Dad, are you hungry, do you want to eat noodles?'

The little girl giggled and asked while pointing at the stall of Noodles on the other side of the street.

"Uhhh, no, I am not hungry."

Ye Qian smiled awkwardly and then turned to Yuan Meng who was looking at him with confusion.

"I will tell you that later."

Ye Qian whispered lightly and then the two started walking into the house.

Since Yuan Meng's hands were busy holding Xiao Ya while Ye Qian was holding the little girl's bag in one of his hands and the cotton candies in his other, Ye Qian could only shake his head as she passed the cotton candies to Xiao Ya.

"Xiao Ya, help Dad carry this for a moment."

Ye Qian asked her.

But before he could say anything the little girls smiled and nodded while taking the candies off his hand.

"Thank you."

Saying that Ye Qian turned around to the door while extending his hand and was about to open the door when he heard a clicking sound.

His lips turned into a smile as he took his hand back.

"CLICK"

As soon as the door was opened two tiny heads poked out from the small gap between the door and the frame.

The two were the little ladies of the house.

"PAPA"

As soon as they saw Ye Qian the door was pulled open by the two and they rushed to Ye Qian.

"Hey my little girls."

"Hehe, Papa, did you bring something for Qiqi and Big Sister when you went out?"

As soon as Ye Qian greeted the two with a pat on their heads, Little Qiqi giggled.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded and continued.

"Okay, let's go in, it is still cold outside."

Though Ye Qian knew that this little amount of cold won't be able to make them feel cold but still he didn't want them to stand out.

"Hmmm."

Though Ye Qian had formed a thin layer of Qi around Yuan Meng and Xiao Ya all the time just like how he did yesterday, that was not the same for the two little girls who were in the house.

And though their bodies can be considered as much more stronger and resistant than compared to the others of their age, to Ye Qian the two were still his little girls.

The two little girls nodded and then turned to Yuan Meng who was standing just behind Ye Qian.

"Mumma brought Xiao Ya!"

Little Qiqi exclaimed and jumped.

"Yes, first let's go, we brought something for you all."

"Yes, Mumma. Yes, Aunt Meng."

The two little ones nodded and then rushed into the house while skipping and grinning.

"Let's go."

Saying that Ye Qian carefully pulled the door again and let Yuan Meng enter first as he followed and closed it.

Ye Qian turned around and saw that Grandma Yan was staring at him with a questioning gaze while she eyed Xiao Ya who was now playing with the other two little girls.

"Umm, Mom that..."

Ye Qian was now having trouble with what he should tell Grandma Yan about Xiao Ya.

Before he had not considered much since it was much less likely that Grandma Yan would say no to Xiao Ya's presence.

Nut now seeing Grandma Yan's questioning look, Ye Qian didn't know how he should say and most importantly what.

Meanwhile, on the sofa.

Yuan Meng carefully placed Xiao Ya on the seat and patted her head.

"Xiao Ya, play with Qiqi and Jia for some time, then Mom and Dad will help you all do your homework."

"Yes, Mom."

The little girl beamed with excitement and turned to Little Qiqi and Little Jia who were standing right next to her.

"Xiao Ya let's play, Qiqi and Big Sister have been waiting for you for so long."

Little Qiqi exclaimed and then pulled the Xiao Ya from the couch.

The little girl was already in high spirits for making new friends and playing; with Little Qiqi pulling her, Xiao Ya quickly jumped and ran behind the two.

She just placed the Cotton Candies that Ye Qian had brought and completely forgot about it.

It was the same for Little Qiqi and Little Jia.
