Chapter 332 - Can't Let My Son-In-Law Eat That Food!

Now, all she was left with was no more than her mother in law and this Aunt Qin.

Many a time, Yuan Meng even had thought that it was because of her ill-luck, whoever ever tried to love her as a mother would die.

And that was also why many in her family called her a witch, she still remembered that all her cousins and all her friends always made some distance between them.

But whenever she thought of all this, a pleasant voice of a woman rang in her ears.

"Memei, don't ever think that you are unlucky, you are the luckiest one, just believe that everything that happens will have a good reason for it, and always try to be what you really are."

That was the voice of her mother which still continued to ring in her ear, she still remembered that she was 5 or 6 years old and she was in a hospital room.

There were many specialized types of equipment surrounding a woman in her mid 30's.

The lady was holding a little girts hands as she caressed her face and gave a peck on her forehead and said these words to her.

And that was also why she closed her heart for all those years until she finally met her mother in law.

She had completely isolated herself from loving someone and even making them her mother.

The last time she did was to her Aunt, Ji's mother who also dies in some mishap, later a shadow was cast on her little heart making her feel that whoever loved her would have a misfortune coming on them and this made her lock herself from all the people in her family.

And that was what she also felt after she heard of Ye Qian's sudden disappearance.

For a whole month, after Ye Qian went missing, she was hearing some whispers in her ears.

"See, you are a witch, making all the people who love you will always die in misfortune."

"You didn't even leave your husband, what a witch."

"What a poor fellow, died an unnatural way, just because of this witch."

That was what she heard for the whole month after she learned of Ye Qian's disappearance.

"No I am not a witch, you are the bad people, why would I want the person who loves me to die?"

"You all are lying to me."

"Qian'er has promised me and our baby that he will come soon, so he will."

But she still felt that there was a slight hope that Ye Qian was just missing and there was no harm to his life and that was also the reason for her to push herself all these 5 years, or if she had known that Ye Qian had died back then, she would for sure have gone into a trauma.

Yuan Meng shook her head and tried to let go of her traumatic memories back then.

'What has the past anything to do with me now, I am already happy that Qian'er is back for us and he is more wonderful than before, but if only I could have more time to spend with him, it might be so much delightfully.'

'Ahhh, what am I thinking, if Qian'er told me that he might be able to cure this problem then he must really know how to, so I will only live a happy life with him forever, I will always believe him.'

She determined in her heart and turned to Ye Qian who was still behind her and was staring at her with a simple yet affectionate smile.

One could completely see the love in his eyes and even the will he had just to be with Yuan Meng no matter whatever was to happen.

After a few seconds of non-stop staring of the two, Aunt Qian snickered.

She understood that maybe she should have come a bit later.

"Cough, should I give you two some private time to spend?"

Aunt Qin coughed and smiled cheekily while trying to tease the two.

She knew that though the two seemed to love each other a lot, there was no way that they would not be shameless to do such a thing, she had known Yuan Meng for some time, albeit it was not much but she still had a thorough understanding of her heart and behaviour.

"Ahh, no... no Aunt Qin, you are misunderstanding something!"

Yuan Meng exclaimed after hearing her teasing words and quivered like a puppy. 

"Hehe, don't worry, let's start to eat first, or the food might get cold, I made it all just for my Son-in-law."

Aunt Qin walked to Ye Qian and placed her hands on his shoulder while making him sit on the table.

"Aunt Qin, you, why did you bring so much food, besides, don't you get sick and feel uneasy when going to the kitchen because of all the smoke?"

Yuan Meng widened her eyes and said in a displeased tone.

She was obviously worried about Aunt Qin's health since she was having some problem with breathing and with such condition if she were to go and cook all by herself, then for sure her health would only get worse.

"Hehe, little girl, I am fine now; don'; you see, I have been doing some special exercise and have been taking some Chinese medicine for all this time, and now I am almost fine."

She smiled at Yuan Meng and felt warm in her heart after seeing how much Yuan Meng was worried about her even after not meeting for so long.

'She hasn't changed even a bit all these years.'

Thinking of this she continued in a haughty smile.

"Besides, it can't be that I will let my son in law eat the food prepared by those men."

While saying that it felt that she seemed to be proud and had an aura of fearless surrounding her.
