Chapter 302 - Are We Going On A Date Like This?

Ye Qian shook his head and said.

"I will be completely fine in just a moment."

Saying that he took her hand into his and took a deep breath while closing his eyes the moment he opened his eyes there was a flash of blue light which vanished in a fraction of a second but Yuan Meng was able to notice it.

As soon as he opened his eyes, a smile appeared on his lips and he said to Yuan Meng. 

"See I am alright now."

Saying that Ye Qian handed her the phone which he had been holding for a long time in his hand and seemed to have vibrated for a few times and noticed that it was nothing but the message of the bills.

Yuan Meng took it from his hand and glanced at Ye Qian from head to toe and then beamed with a smile while she extended her hand to his head and adjusted his hair.

"See how much worried you were for me, even your hair is a mess now, how are we going to date with such a look of yours."

She chuckled lightly and continued to adjust his hair while the surrounding people had their eyes burning with jealousy while looking at the couple.

The woman and the man seemed to love each other so much that they looked like a couple that seemed to have come from another world.

'What a loving wife and a caring husband.'

A few women who seemed to have also come to take a glance at the accident sighed in their heart while looking at Yuan Meng who was busy shaping Ye Qian's hair.

"There you go, now you look even more handsome."

"Haha."

Yuan Meng raised her brows as to why he laughed but after a moment she nodded and took his hand in his and started to walk to the other side of the road where a taxi seemed to have stopped.

Ye Qian opened the door and Yuan Meng walked into the car followed by him.

"To the Metro District."

Yuan Meng said to the driver as Ye Qian turned to her with a big question mark on his face.

She understood that he didn't know anything about the places after many have changed their locations and many have also shut down due to certain reasons.

The driver nodded and started the car.

Within no more than 10 minutes the car stopped on a road which was bustling with many people and there were many shops and restaurants which also seemed to have a speciality of their own.

Though the place was no more than 20 minutes of walk from their house if they were to take many shortcuts which Yuan Meng knew, she still wanted to have a proper date with Ye Qian and so didn't insist on walking there on foot.

She knew that even if she were to persist on going there by walking Ye Qian would also deny it and would still take her with a taxi.

Knowing that Yuan Meng didn't even speak about walking there besides she was still happy about all that was happening.

Her life had changed for the better and she was living a life which she had always been dreaming of.

And with her parents in law also coming to the house made her even happier.

Though she knew that maybe there was a chance that she won't be able to stay with them for a long time she was still happy that she was able to live so happy for the time she lived for and even wanted to enjoy the few days which were remaining of her life.

Ye Qian passed 30 Yuan to the driver and walked out while helping Yuan Meng.

"Thank you."

Seeing him treated like that of a Queen who was walking out of a Palanquin, Yuan Meng grinned and walked out.

She turned to Ye Qian and asked.

"Do we go to the restaurant first or do our date?"

Her voice was very low and almost seemed like a whisper.

Hearing her Ye Qian nodded and said.

"We should first give our order for the party then we will be able to date without any worry after that."

Yuan Meng's eyes brightened after hearing his suggestion and she nodded like a pecking chick while grinning from ear to ear.

With that, the two left to the nearest small restaurant which didn't look grand or luxurious but there was a lot of crowds there.

Ye Qian was astonished by the fact that there were barely any people near their house and he had thought that it was because of the news of the criminals, but here he felt that his guess was wrong.

Ye Qian didn't ponder over it and walked with Yuan Meng as she led him into the restaurant.

Ye Qian didn't know why, but Yuan Meng brought him to an alley by the small restaurant and then knocked on the back gate.

Though the alley was filled with most of the scrap stuff and various trashcans were placed, the place was kept clean and tidy when compared to what other restaurants had.

Though the trash bin was near them Ye Qian was barely able to smell the rotten smell of the trash placed in it.

He praised the people who worked here since it was really hard for one to keep such a place clean.

Usually, a restaurant would only keep their tables and other decorative pieces clean which would normally attract the customers who were always in search of a serene yet beautiful place.

While there would barely be any cleanliness in the kitchen and the way they handled the food and other things used in it.

But here although the restaurant seemed to be a bit old and didn't even seem to have any attractive decor to attract the customers there was a bustling crowd who wanted to enter it and with what they had seen.
