Chapter 286 - Qiqi Didn't Do Homework!

Ning Wei had also felt that things would likely be good that way but after looking at Ye Qian who nodded at her lightly indirectly saying that there was nothing to fear her she heaved a sigh of relief.

'How can I be so much worried when he is here, he would not allow anything to happen to the girls. But, I still won't feel better until those men go away from the city.'

Meanwhile, unknown to anyone the people they were worried about were already dead.

The men whom Ye Qian had found yesterday at the old man's shop were the ones about whom the reporter revealed.

So there was nothing to worry about them at all, but of course, Ye Qian couldn't tell Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao about this, since it would arise an even bigger wall of questions in front of him.

First, they would ask how didn't he knew then it would be how was he so cure about and other many things which Ye Qian would rather not say it than to be caught in a hold.

So better than it, it would be easy for him to not tell them about anything.

But he would surely tell it to Yuan Meng and Ning Wei after some time since they would be worried for sure.

He wanted to tell about it to Yuan Meng at night yesterday but seeing that their eyes were almost sleepy from staying awake for him all the time he decided it was better to let them rest as the day was thought for them as well, with the abduction of the two little girls and the other things.

And so the family continued to watch TV but this time the controller was in the little girl's hands.

And it was not much since everyone likes cartoons no matter the age, besides the cartoons were of the old genre and not the new, which were way too out of anyone's thinking.

So the house was bustling with cheers and laughter of the girls and the ladies while many humorous scenes happened on the TV

"Qiqi, have you don't your homework?"

After about half an hour or so of watching TV, Yuan Meng asked with a light voice as she caressed Little Qiqi who had her head placed on her lap.

Little Qiqi looked at her and shook her head.

"No Mumma, Qiqi, didn't do it."

She seemed a little sad like she was going to get a beating, of course, Yuan Meng would always love her and treasure her, but she would not be pampered much when it came to studies.

But she would also not be strict like many parents and would always sit with Little Qiqi and make her understand and do her homework with her.

And it was also not like Little Qiqi was sad because she would get a scolding from her Mumma, but was sad because she would not be able to be with her Papa as the homework she had not done was a lot and it would take a lot of time for her to complete all of it.

"Then when are you going to do it Qiqi, your Miss Ying called me yesterday and said that you must do your homework or you will have to do it twice."

There was a light smile as Yuan Meng said while she caressed her hair and fondled with Little Qiqi's cheeks.

"Hmm."

A small pout appeared on Little Qiqi's lips but she still nodded.

"Mumma, can Qiqi do it after some time?"

After staying for a moment Little Qiqi exclaimed with a bright smile.

Not knowing why Little Qiqi  suddenly exclaimed, Yuan Meng was puzzled.

"Why dear?"

She could understand that Little Qiqi wanted to be with Ye Qian and didn't want to do the homework as it would take a lot of time and she was not worried about it either, since Little Qiqi would always do her it on time and knowing that Ye Qian was back, Yuan Meng knew that the teacher would also not scold Little Qiqi much.

But as to why would the little girl asked to do it later made her wonder.

"Mumma, Papa will bring Little Ya home after some time, so Qiqi will study with her after she comes."

A wide smile appeared on Little Qiqi's face as she recalled while looking at her Papa.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian could only smile with a nod and continued to Yuan Meng as she was looking at him with confusion.

Meanwhile, Little Jia who was sitting next to Ye Qian said.

"Aunt Meng, Little Ya is our new friend, she is in a lower class than that of Qiqi, yesterday when Papa took us to the market we met her in her Grandpa's shop."

"Hmm."

Yuan Meng nodded while understanding why Little Qiqi seemed so happy after doing the homework later.

It is always more fun for the kids to study in a group than to do it alone and being a teacher she knew it very well.

"So when are you going to bring that child?"

She asked after turning to Ye Qian.

"Umm, maybe in the afternoon."

Ye Qian pondered for a moment and said.

It would be too early if he were to get her so soon, so it was better to get her while he went to get some things for the party later.

Now he was only thinking of whether he should cook or order a hotel for the party.

Though he wanted to use some of the Spiritual Energy to help the ones in the old age home it would only be a lot of work if he were to make here everything, but that was not what he was worried about, but bringing everything to there would be a big problem for sure.

"Umm Mengmeng, do we order some hotel to help us with the party?"

Ye Qian asked since it would be good to get some opinion from her since she would know much about it than him.
