Chapter 273 - Less Worried For Them

Ye Qian sat beside Grandma Yan as she handed him a plate full of apple slices.

Ye Qian smiled slightly but still didn't reject her and took the plate of her hands and took a piece.

"Papa, you are so late."

Little Qiqi shook her head while a small pot hung on her lips.

"Huh?"

Ye Qian was taken aback, he knew that he took a lot of time to get back and then there was Yu Lan who cried a lot but he didn't quite understand why did Little Qiqi seem like he had missed something important.

"See, Qiqi and Big Sister made the little sparrow, eat a lot of food and she was also very happy."

Ye Qian understood that the two little girls had attracted themselves to the small sparrow a lot and didn't want her to go away after some time.

Although they also felt it like that, they also thought that the small bird would not stay with them for long before she would fly away for searching for some real friends for her.

The children nowadays knew about this since they were thought about the ways animals behave and there were many TV channels for that like DISCOVERY and Animal Planet which gave much knowledge like such to the kids.

And the two little girls had definitely seen some documentary related to birds and their immigration and other things, and so thought that the sparrow would go away after some time, no matter how much they loved her. 

Understanding the thoughtfulness of the two little girls, everyone in the room nodded in acceptance.

Ye Qian shook his head lightly and continued.

"You don't have to worry, you little sparrow will always stay with you and even go to your school with you to learn a few more things like you."

The two little girls were delighted to hear their Papa's first sentence and were about to cheer up with the little sparrow but then they heard his other words and were confused.

How would the little sparrow come with them to their school?

The two looked at each other in confusion and raised their tiny eyebrows.

"Papa, how will the little sparrow come with us to school?"

Little Jia asked while scratching her chin.

There was rarely anyone who would bring pets to school as it would cause much trouble and many teachers would also be distracted if the pet were to be with them.

Of course, no one had ever brought their pet to their school before this either and no one had even heard of it.

Yuan Meng and Ning Wei were also astonished by Ye Qian's words and wanted to know what he meant by what he had said to the two little girls.

Meanwhile, the one in question who was about to go to school stood there without even knowing what Ye Qian was talking about.

Of course, the sparrow was smart and could understand human language but that didn't mean that she would go to some kid's school, it would to so much embarrassing for her.

But that was another fact if she had thought this with the way her phoenix mind thought, but she was still the little sparrow of the two little girls and she chirped in delight while she flew on Ye Qian's shoulder.

Ye Qian lightly patted her head and brought a piece of apple to her which she pecked on as he continued.

"The little sparrow will also come with you to your school and won't disturb you when teachers teach you, but you will have to play and eat with her when you have a lunch break."

Ye Qian thought that maybe this would really be helpful, since the incident that happened yesterday, Ye Qian was really worried about the two little girls.

He still couldn't say this to anyone else, and there was no way he would be able to allowed to be with them.

And even if he were to allow the Samsara Crown to go with one of them, he would still be worried about the other one.

This was the only thing that made him worried and now with the small sparrow who was a Phoenix, there was no way that any harm would befall the little girls.

And with that Ye Qian would rest his mind and heart and not be worried about them the whole time.

Though there were Yuan Meng and Ning Wei again, he could still give them the charms which were still with him and they would be able to use them in a precarious situation if they ever arise when he was not beside them.

Ye Qian sighed in his heart, now that he had fallen back to the Nascent Soul Mid Stage and if things were to go like this more and he were to not find a source of Spiritual Energy, then his Cultivation would only continue to constantly drop and he would not be able to do anything to stop it.
