Chapter 252 - A Handsome Thief!

Ye Qian stopped by a few blocks away from his house in the air and looked below.

On a cold night, there was no one on the road with the only exception of a few dogs sleeping by the lamp poles.

Ye Qian carefully looked around and didn't find anyone so he flew down while carrying the small boy in his hands.

The little sparrow was hiding in his best pocket while looking all around her with her tiny eyes continuously peeking from here to there and from the sky to the land.

This was a new experience for her and even a new world and now she would be staying with Ye Qian here all the time so she was interested to know much more thing about this colourful world and its beings.

The little girl from before was really nice and even gave her something delicious and sweet to eat and she was very happy with her.

So she wanted to know if all the people in this world were nice or not.

Though she had seen many men with corrupted hearts in the factory she knew they were no more now. So she wanted to learn a few more things about this world and she wanted to eat even more food in this world.

The small bits she ate were surely tasty but they were not enough to feed her stomach.

It would be only a joke if it would be able to make her stomach full.

She was a phoenix after all. 

That was just like a new experience for her and she liked its taste very much and was eager to find many such eatables of this world.

Ye Qian landed on the roof of the house.

After placing his hand on the boy's head Ye Qian got to know that the boy didn't stay far away from his house and so he intended to get him in the last and after that, he would go back to his house.

Ye Qian looked at the house.

The light's were switched off and there was only a man in the house.

Ye Qian scanned the house carefully and noticed that though there was a lady in the house as well she was too much skinny and seemed to be weak and was most likely sick.

"My child where are you mom is waiting for you."

"CLICK"

The lady mumbled in her sleep as tears dripped from the corner of her eyes even as she was sleeping.

Ye Qian sighed and shook his head.

The woman seemed to have gone into trauma after her son was lost and that was why she was sick.

But the man also didn't look too good, his eyes were swollen and there were bruises all over his body.

Ye Qian scanned him carefully and saw that the injuries were likely to be caused due to heavy beating.

He was awoken by the mumbling of the lady and quickly switched the lights on while looking at the lady and sighing.

"Dear, why do you have to make yourself suffer so much, aren't we trying as hard as we can o search for our boy."

Saying that he filled a glass beside the bed and helped the lady to sit carefully and drink some water.

"Snifff"

She sobbed while drinking a few sips of water and then wiped her tears.

"We will find him soon, but shouldn't you also be in good health so that you can cook his favourite food."

The man tried to encourage her with a few light words and a simple smile.

But his expressions sure said otherwise.

"Hmm"

But the lady didn't have her attention and just nodded.

It had been more than 2 weeks by now since their son had gone missing and they even went to the police a few times but all they received was a few harsh scoldings and threats to not speak of all this in the media.

And all they said was that they were searching for their son and the report had been filed so it will take some time for it.

And a week ago when she went alone to the police station she was slapped by one of them and was left unconscious for a whole day and then after that, she fell ill.

Later her condition turned further grim as her body continued to get weak each day until she was now completely resting on the bed.

Her husband also went to the police station a couple of days ago but he was beaten till he had many bruises all over his body.

Seeing him limply walking into the house she had again fallen unconscious.

She didn't know what kind of sin she had done for experiencing such things.

First, her son was kidnapped, then she fell ill and now her husband was also beaten up by the police and that too for asking why they beat her.

The atmosphere of the house turned silent with sadness filling the room.

The man's face fell again while the woman held the glass of water in her hand and stared at it.

"GGGRRRRR"

Ye Qian opened the door of the balcony and with light steps entered the house.

The couple was already sad and devastated now they even thought that they were going to be robbed.

But still, they could do nothing.

The man stared at the man who had opened the door and walked in.

But much to his surprise, the thief was smiling at them with a genuine pity in his eyes.

The woman also looked at the thief and didn't know what to say.

'This thief is so good looking that he might even get some role in big movies, then why do such robbing jobs?'

But then she saw that his eyes were looking at them with sympathy.

If it was someone else she might have thought that the person was mocking them.

But the man seemed to be genuinely sympathizing with them.
