Chapter 229 - Using Scapegoats

In the corridor of the factory, Ye Qian was draped in a trench coat which Yuan Meng chose for him in the mall.

Ye Qian had heard that there were many people with high backgrounds behind this organization and so until he didn't find out them he didn't want to reveal his identity.

Though he had the power to destroy the cameras he didn't know how much the world had progressed in this aspect while he was not here.

So it was better to be careful than to be sorry later.

An Obsidian glow passed on the coat and there was a different shine on the coat now, it was like it was not something worth just 4000 Yuan, but worth millions.

Ye Qian had used his Spiritual Energy to refine it, he knew there were bound to be many weapons here, and though he would not be harmed in the slightest he didn't want the gift which Yuan Meng had chosen for him to be damaged when he had not even tried it in front of her.

Right now, the Trench coat was not like what it looked like before there was a different sheen to it while compared to what it looked like before while if one were to try to cut it with a knife they would not be able to cause even the slightest damage to it much less cut the coat into shreds.

If one were to test its strength, then maybe its toughness would only be less than that of a diamond.

Ye Qian opened his eyes and nodded at the small sparrow which sat on his shoulder once again and nodded her small beak.

She had seen the glint in Ye Qian's eyes and understood that something bad would be happening but she also knew that Ye Qian would do nothing which was wrong, it was her belief or she might not have been felt so close to him when he arrived in the World of Pridid.

All the animals of Pridid had an innate sense of noticing evil and good and so the small sparrow had recognized Ye Qian as a good man who would do nothing wrong.

Ye Qian used his face transforming art and used it as more of a precautionary measure, but he didn't think of one key thing.

The boss of the organization had already seen him though he had also used his face changing art at that time.

Ye Qian walked to the gate and cracked open it right from the floor, he had thought that he would burn this whole factory into ashes so as to avoid any suspicion.

While Ye Qian rushed out of the previous corridor near the doctor's cabin.

The factory was completely silent except for the other portion where there were nearly 200 men holding many sharp and cold weapons with them, while any even had guns in their hands.

There was a complete area of about 200 square meters which was completely jam-packed with the men standing in order.

Right in front of them, the Boss of the organization stood with his face pale but he still tried to cover his fear right in front of them.

"There is a man who had rushed into the factory, we have to kill him at any cost, I suspect that he might be an officer sent by the Government to enquire about the kidnaps of the small b*stards."

While he said in loud his voice seemed to be choking many times while his forehead was dripping with sweat as he thought of the scene that he had seen on his monitor just a few minutes ago.

He had been terrified to his core as he even peed in his pants as every time he thought of the man he saw on the monitor his back would turn wet from fright.

He had been in this underworld for more than 2 decades by now and he had never seen anyone who would be so much cold and frightening.

He had seen many gory scenes which would make anyone's soul turn cold in his 20 years of being in a gang, but this was the first time he saw someone who would be so heartless and didn't even bat an eye as one killed the enemy in a moment what was needed for one to blink their eyes.

While as soon as he stabilized himself, he immediately rushed out of his room and rang the siren not thinking if anyone around were to notice such loud noise coming out of an abandoned factory.

One had to know that the factory was nearly more than 20 kilometres away from the City borders, and even if one were to hear the sound they would only run away in fear that something bad might have been happening here.

"YES"

The more than 200 men with large and bulky bodies roared while waving their weapons in the air.

"Hmm"

The boss nodded while he pointed a few things like the map of the factory and where would the man now be.

He knew that Ye Qian would be coming to him sooner or later, so he had to do everything in haste besides, he had a lot of things to take care of once he had been done with using all these men as scapegoats.

By now he had no doubt that none of those 70 men who had confronted the man had been not dead yet, he had himself seen more than 17 men die within a mere second when the man waved his hand.

All he wanted was to spare for some time and such out of this god-dam place as soon as possible and hide his identity.

He had this fear that even if he were to run away the man would find him and torture him to death, he still had not understood why was the man so much angry with him, he had always been vigilant while doing things, never had he did anything without knowing the background of the people.
