Chapter 227 - A Phoenix!

In no less than an area which was 50 square meters.

A blurry figure of the fire god's false self was remaining while Ye Qian was standing in front of him with his eyes wide open.

If one were to see clearly one would see an image of a ball of fire was getting bigger with every moment.

That was the "Small Sparrow", but Ye Qian was not shocked by its behaviour as he seemed to be ready for it and tried to use the Pridid Fire which he had just got.

If he were to use any other weapon of technique, he didn't know if it would stand a chance again this humongous bird.

But things didn't turn out as he had thought them to be.

The bird which was flying to him started to decrease in size as it came closer to Ye Qian.

At 100 meters away of it was 4 meters in height and 5 meters wide, later by the time it was just 50 meters away from the ground it was not even half of its size.

"SHRIEK"

By the time it was 5 meters away it was just the size of not more than 30 centimetres.

The bird shrieked one again as if in delight and sat on Ye Qian's shoulder.

Ye Qian smiled wryly as he shook his head.

Now he understood why it was so crazy to fall.

This little one wanted to meet him in such haste that he thought her of being gone berserk.

He had really not thought about how simple the bird's heart was when she met him and it would still be the same, just like a small child.

Ye Qian smiled white turned to her and scratched her lower neck which was white in colour white the remaining body was made of fire.

"PURRR PURRR"

The thing closed her eyes and purred in delight after being caressed by Ye Qian just like before.

It was indeed the reason that she wanted to get to Ye Qian as quickly as possible that she descended in such a hurry.

But if she knew that Ye Qian had almost thought her of being berserk then she would have fore sure pouted her lips.

COUGH! I meant, she would turn her head away from Ye Qian and act like any other woman who would pout.

Well, that was the same in every species be it a bird or an animal or a human, women were bound to feel bad if someone thought of them like it.

But there was no way the "SMALL SPARROW" would know of this.

That is unless.

"Haha, you nearly made me think that you went berserk."

And this happened, all went drowning.

SIGH, Ye Qian sure is dumb.

As soon as Ye Qian chuckled lightly while caressing the "SPARROW's" head.

But his words brought a completely different side of the small lovely sparrow.

The "SMALL SPARROW" eyes which were happy just a second ago flared up while she narrowed them and pecked Ye Qian's head a few times.

"AWWW"

"Hahaha."

"You sure are like Mengmeng and Wei."

Ye Qian cried at first then chuckled while bringing it from his shoulder in front of him.

Ye Qian had a soft smile on his lips as he saw her.

One could definitely see that the Sparrow was not really angry with him but was just annoyed cause all it did was a few pecking on Ye Qian's head while she pulled some of his hair but none of it was to cause Ye Qian any harm.

And how could the Sparrow hurt him?

He loved her so much as to even deny the power of this whole world and gave it to her.

But she was a female who had her pride so she closed her eyes and turned her head away from Ye Qian while with her cheeks puffed.

One would definitely be amazed at how the bird looked.

Ye Qian carefully studied the "SPARROW".

There were a few feathers that were arranged like a crown and five more tail feathers that were a meter in length.

Ye Qian's eyes widened as he recalled what the "SPARROW" now looked like.

"She is a PHOENIX now."

Ye Qian exclaimed with his eyes and mouth wide open.

Who would have thought there would be a Phoenix right now in front of Ye Qian?

Not even Ye Qian would have ever dreamed of it.

That was because Phoenix's would always stay have the same population since they were proud of themselves and would only find a partner who was more powerful and had something which would make the female Phoenix interested in them, and rarely would that ever happen though.

Ye Qian had never heard of any Phoenix even in the Greater Heaven much less in the Lesser Heaven and they were even thought of as only mythical beings even there.

But there were many Dragons in the Heavens but none had ever seen a Phoenix in Epochs.

Much less Ye Qian who had been in the Greater Heaven for less than nearly 4700 Years.

Meanwhile, the figure behind Ye Qian shook his head while noticing Ye Qian's way of behaving.

'Now I know how he isn't corrupted by evil thoughts; he won't understand it at all.'

The figure waved his hand and the world which had been no more than a few square meters by now stopped to disintegrate.

"Boy, be what you are, power is nothing but a mere facade which leads to demise, I have seen many men coveting power only to die while obtaining it."

"Now, you should also go, I can't stop this anymore."

The figure continued while waving its hand in the air and Ye Qian and the Phoenix in his hands were covered in a dome of fire.

Ye Qian gave a slight bow to the figure in gratitude while the bird in his hand also gave a thankful look at it.
