Chapter 223 - True Gate Of Pridid

Right now Ye Qian stood just a step away from the real Gate of Pridid.

He nodded while looking at the gigantic gate which was covered in flames while many animals were carved on the gate.

'This seems like a real Gate of Pridid.'

'The one I went on before must be only an imitation of it, so that one could be used as a first test.'

Ye Qian thought as he prepared himself for suffering more pain than what he had faced in the lake.

But with the first step which he took, he felt a soothing sensation covering his whole body.

His charred leftover muscles were getting covered with the light cast out by the Gate, but there was no pain he had faced like the last time.

Instead, as the wisps of fire landed on his thin muscle threads they started to regenerate back.

But this speed was much shocking.

Ye Qian felt wary while he continued to walk through the Gate.

In no more than 108 steps he was out of the other side of the gate, but now he was just as fine as he was before with even his hairs having grown back the same length they were before.

Ye Qian was surprised but still sighed in relief.

He had yet to find a way to Cultivate on Earth and if he were to use the remaining Spiritual energy it would only be a waste but now he didn't have to worry about it.

But as he walked out of the other side, he was covered in fire, not like it was harming him or something.

In fact, the fire acted as a robe covering most of his body while still giving him a comfortable feeling.

To him, the fire was nothing but just like a normal piece of clothing and had no effect on him.

"Now that you have also passed the trials, there will be something which I must pass onto you."

While Ye Qian carefully studied the Flame Clothes draped around himself, the figure stood up from its throne and walked to him.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded while giving him a slight bow, he knew that this was a custom and the person in front of him had still helped him in a way or other so he was bound to give him some respect.

"Since you know that I am a God, you must have also found out that I am nothing but a trace of consciousness left behind in order to take care of this world and select for an Inheritor."

The figure waved his hand and a small rock appeared next to Ye Qian, while he pointed at it as if telling Ye Qian to sit.

Ye Qian nodded as he walked to the small sparrow and picked it up while gently caressing her lower neck.

"CHIRP CHIRP"

The little thing chirped a few times in delight while she pecked Ye Qian's palm a few times and rubbed her head on it.

Ye Qian chuckled lightly while nodding at the figure who was standing with his hands behind his back while waiting for Ye Qian to sit as he wanted to continue.

After Ye Qian sat on the rock while the small sparrow snuggled on his hands while settling on his lap.

Ye Qian turned to God and continued to listen to him.

"Hmm."

The figure nodded as he continued.

"You see once you are the only one who has passed this trial until now, but that doesn't mean that you have complete control over the Pridid, in fact, it's the complete opposite to that."

"Since you have got the power of whole Pridid, it will be always be bound to you and you can't call it like when you could do it like always."

Though Ye Qian couldn't completely understand what the figure was saying, he still linked a few words which were familiar to him and tried to understand them.

But still, the Figure would use mostly his Divine Sense which helped in overcoming the language barrier.

Ye Qian felt that the language was still 10 percent similar to that of the Heavens.

"Now that you have obtained the Pridid Robe, you also have the power to summon all the creatures of Pridid, but be aware that you must only summon those whom you can have complete control over them, and with that Nascent Soul Late Stage cultivation of yours don't try to summon anyone who is higher than a Serpent, and that large serpent is the limit you can have control over."

"And while you may be still be confused as to why am I still here?"

The figure turned his back to Ye Qian while glancing around the fire mountains which had started to form again.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded while he stared at his back while noticing the melancholic mood of the figure.

"You see, it been about a million years since I have been staying here, but there was rarely anyone who was able to accept the Power of Pridid which was left as an Inheritance by my real self but then too, even if one were able to accept it no one had ever been able to cross the first trial which was the Flase Gate."

"But there was one who was able to, but when he was called here to accept the final trials, he had this false acceptance that he was the one ruler of the world and he would never be found guilty and with the increase of his power, his pride started to well up in his heart, which was the reason why he was burnt without a soul, even when he was just a few steps away from Lake of Pridid."

The figure sighed as he glanced at the small crevice which was the only thing remaining of the large Lake of Pridid, since it had started to get back to its initial state after Ye Qian walked out of it.

Ye Qian glanced around the world and noticed that there was something different now when compared to went he had come here.
