Chapter 185 - Qiqi Is A Little Traitor!

At the dining table, many people were sitting with different expressions on their faces.

Yu Lan and her friends were looking helpless since they were badly hungry while Yuan Meng and Ning Wei had calm smiles with a rosy shade on their cheeks, the little girls had beaming smiles while Grandpa Xiao had a poker face still showing that he was upset.

While opposite to Ye Qian, Little Qiqi, Little Jia, Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao; Yuan Meng, Ning Wei, Yu Lan, Lin were sitting while Yanran and Mei were sitting on the two sides of the table.

Grandma Yan was giving everyone besides her the Vegetable stir fry which she had prepared.

"Little girls, don't be picky while eating all these vegetables in it."

Grandma Yan said while passing the bowl to Ye Qian to get some for Little Jia.

"Grandma, Qiqi eats all vegetables now!"

Little Qiqi raised her hand and picked the small chopstick's made of plastic and took a piece of taro and brought it to her mouth and ate it.

Meanwhile, everyone on the table chuckled seeing her amusing act.

Little Jia also nodded.

"Grandma, Jia always eats all vegetables, Mom told me that every vegetable is necessary for growth and little children must eat all of them."

Hearing her, Grandma Yan glanced at Ning Wei with her eyes full of praise.

It was really hard for one to make their children eat all the vegetables and it was even hard for a mother to force her child to eat any vegetable the child disliked.

So it was really good to see that and it was even rare in the places like cities where there was a lot of fast food and other stuff to which the children would get easily attracted.

Grandma Yan nodded at Ning Wei with an appreciating look.

Ning Wei felt like she was given a medal of some great work while Grandma Yan smiled at her and felt more proud of Little Jia.

Little Jia has always been the subject of her pride, even in Little Jia's school, teachers praised her for teaching and giving Little Jia proper lessons and education but there was something which she was never able to give her and it always made her feel dejected.

Though Little Jia was the most loved by her teachers she still didn't have many friends which she had known or it was fine to say Little Jia didn't have any friends and that was because she was not as rich as others or there was never someone who would be there to pick her up after her school was released.

Thinking of all these things her heart felt sad, but then her gaze glanced at Ye Qian who was helping Little Jia and all her sorrow left her mind and she started to eat.

Ye Qian placed a big portion on Little Jia's plate and then passed it to Yuan Meng after giving some to Yanran.

Yanran thanked Ye Qian and helped him to pass it to Yuan Meng.

By now everyone was done with getting some of the Vegetable Stir Fry and started eating.

The girls were full of smiles and that was not only for the little ones but for Yu Lan and her friends as well.

The taste of fresh vegetables was really something, though Lin and Yanran had eaten many Vegetable stir fries the taste which this one had was not even possible to be able to compare to the others it was just such above that according to them there was no comparison.

Little Qiqi and Little Jia continued to eat with their small chopsticks without any help from Ye Qian.

Ye Qian was also relishing the taste of his mother's food after ages.

'After so long I am able to eat the food made by my mom.'

He thought after taking his first bite and glanced at Grandma Yan who still had not eaten anything yet.

"Papa, this is really tasty."

Little Qiqi said as she finished the small portion which Grandma Yan had given to her before.

Hearing her Ning Wei, Yuan Meng, Yu Lan, Ye Qian chuckled.

Not knowing why they were laughing, Little Qiqi took the small handkerchief in front of her and wiped her face.

She felt that there was something sticking to her face while she ate and that was why Papa, Mumma and her Aunts were laughing at her.

Seeing her wiping her face the ladies giggles even more for her innocent behaviour.

"Aunt Lan'er, why do you laugh at Qiqi?"

Little Qiqi pouted her lips.

Ye Qian patted her head and continued.

"Butterfly, I didn't make this, it was your Grandma who made it."

"Ohhh."

As though she had gained some enlightenment she nodded and turned to Grandma Yan and giggled.

"Grandma, this is really very tasty, even more, than what Papa used to make for Qiqi."

Little Qiqi words made everyone laugh.

She was obviously trying to butter Grandma Yan, that was known by everyone by now.

Meanwhile, Ye Qian's lips twitched.

'This little girl always changes sides if there is someone powerful enough.'

Grandma Yan was happy and felt proud after hearing Little Qiqi.

She glanced at Ye Qian while taking a spoonful from her plate and brought it to Ye Qian's lips.

Ye Qian's lips trembled but he still opened his mouth and ate it, unknowing to him his nose turned sour and his eyes were filled with tears.

No matter how old you are, you will still be her small child for your mother.

Grandma Yan was sitting beside Little Qiqi since she also wanted to feed her son after so long and she was already eager to feed Ye Qian with her own hands after so long.

For her no matter how much Ye Qian grew, she would always love to feed him, much less now when he was nowhere to be found for so many years.

She would of course give it her all to see her son back and celebrate to her heart's content.
