Chapter 180 - Play Grandma's Games!

Meanwhile, after Grandma Yan walked out of the kitchen she was greeted by the two little girls as they ran to her.

"Grandma, sit with Qiqi and Big Sister."

Little Qiqi looked at her with puppy eyes.

They had eaten the Egg Rolls and were not as much hungry as before and since their Papa was busy with making food for them they were even happier.

They had been wanting to play something but didn't know many games.

After seeing their Granma coming out the two got an idea.

Grandma might know a lot of games.

They quickly rushed to her wanting her to play with them.

They had asked Grandpa as well but he didn't know much of the girl games as well.

But now that Grandma was out they would ask her to play with them.

"Ohhh, did you two miss your Grandma so much in just this time?"

Grandma Yan's face brightened seeing the two little ones, though she was a bit disappointed and felt bad about the things that happened before, it was not to the limit that she would feel sad for long.

She was just feeling bad that her son was hiding something from her, but she also felt that there might be a reason for that or he would not behave like this.

Seeing the two coming to her Grandma Yan extended her hands and caught them.

"Grandma, Qiqi missed you a little bit."

Little Qiqi grinned.

"Hehe."

"I see Qiqi, you are getting naughty now."

Grandma Yan pinched Little Qiqi's nose and scolded but it didn't seem like a scolding.

"Hehe, Grandma, Qiqi is always nice, Qiqi is not naughty, Qiqi only wants Grandma's love."

Little Qiqi grinned.

"Alright now, come let's play, you two might be bored like hell with that old hag beside you."

Grandma Yan glanced at Grandpa Xiao who was still reading the newspaper and snorted.

She then held the two girls and walked to the couch.

"You Old hag, can't you play with the girls for a while."

Grandma Yan glared at Grandpa Xiao and then sat with e two little girls.

With that, she didn't further ponder on the topic and continued to lay the old games Grandma Yan used to play with her friends when they were small.

The two girls sitting beside her were flabbergasted to hear the games which Grandma Yan recalled, for them, it was like a new world was being introduced. 

Seeing their face full of smiles, Grandma Yan knew that the girls might have never heard of these games ever, since they were not even played by the small girls in the town now, much less a big city like the Start City.

"Wow, Grandma, the games you told Qiqi and Big Sister are so nice."

Little Qiqi's eyes were shining as she looked at her Grandma.

"Hehe, just studying is not enough you also need to play if you want to grow."

Grandma Yan ruffled Little Qiqi's hairs with pride.

"Yes, Grandma Jia will always keep that in mind."

Little Jia nodded.

"Big Sister, we shouldn't waste time, lets play the game with Grandma, which she told at first."

Little Qiqi exclaimed and sat with her legs folded while facing Grandam Yan and Little Jia.

"Hmm."

Little Jia nodded and sat just like Little Qiqi.

Meanwhile, Grandma Yan was grinning from ear to ear.

It was not like she knew a lot of games, but these were some of the most which she used to play with her friends till they grew 13 or sometimes even more than that.

But nowadays the games she saw the small girls used to play were too lame and didn't help in much development of the thinking of the small children.

She tried to teach them how to play the games she knew, and with time they did like them, but after some time, the parent's of the girls scolded them not to play such backward games.

To this, Grandma Yan could only shake her head noticing the narrow-minded thoughts of the parents.

But she was happy that at least her granddaughters loved the games, this was more than enough to make her happy.

With that, the three continued to play the games.

After about 10 minutes, the other girls, Lin, Yanran, and Mei also joined them and played.

For a long time, they were watching as the two little girls and Grandam Yan played and this piqued their interests.

After about 10 or so minutes they also couldn't control themselves and asked them if they could join them in playing.

Of course, the little girls and Grandma Yan were more than happy some more to play with.

With that, the whole living room was bustling with the sounds of giggles, songs, words, and loud voices.

And the people who enjoyed it the most were the two little girls since they had just learned and they were already more excited to play and with the addition of their Aunt Lin, Big Sister Yanran and Mei, they learned a lot.

The game was basically to use different words and say a word with the end letter of the previous word.

So by this one would think of the words and their vocabulary would increase, and since the girls were still a lot small, this would help them a lot, to increase their memory power and thinking.

Soon their giggles and chatters could be heard even on the road outside the house.

While the 5 people continued to play their voices and giggles were even heard on the road.

But the people standing guard were not affected in the slightest and continued to stay vigilant all the time looking around the whole house.

If it wasn't for their breathing one would believe in them being robots or statues.

And the people were standing ramrod even in this chilling cold.

It was like they didn't feel any of the chilly air around them.

"Commander, we have found some, their behaviour is very suspicious."

A cold voice sounded from the walkie talkie of the Commander.
