Chapter 189: Overpowered (a)

The serpentine devils roared out to suppress their anxiousness and armed themselves with bows and arrows.

"Kill!"

"Oh no, you don't!"

They were about to release their arrows when at that very moment, a gigantic shadow draped over them. Before they even knew it, Grace had reached them!

"Devastation of Wind!" She opened both of her mouths and inhaled, gathering as much air as she possibly could in them. The suction force was so strong that some of the devils lost their footings and fell forward. Before they could touch the ground, though, she released the breath in her mouths at them.

Swirling winds that looked like tornados rushed out and smashed into them. The impact ravaged the cliff along with the serpentine devils. The ones who took the hit got blasted apart, dying in the blink of an eye while the shockwaves caused many to fall off the crumbling cliff and plunge towards the beasts down below, plunge straight towards their death.

"You deranged beast!" Benjamin was no joke, and he immediately manifested his superpower and demonic blessing, causing a dark spear to appear in front of him, electricity buzzing around it made it appear more ferocious.

"Die!"

A thundering reverberation defeated all sorts of sound as a purplish-black ray of light charged towards Grace. The spear moved with such speed that even Grace couldn't clearly see it because Benjamin had discharged 300 units of energy from his body and smashed it at its back to increase its speed! Yes, he was a magic grandmaster! The barrier spirit only allowed magicians in the channel opening stage to enter. However, there was no rule against a person advancing to the grandmaster stage after coming inside! The five strongest serpentine devils used this loophole to their advantage, thus becoming the magicians with the highest evolutionary stage. And that's why they were 200% overconfident in completing this mission.

"Not on my watch!" Before the sharpness of the spear could harm even a single scale on her graceful body, Elliot appeared in front of it, stopping it by pinching it between his fingers. Benjamin's eyes widened so much that they threatened to pop out of his sockets.

"R-Ridiculous!" He stammered, finding it hard to believe that Elliot managed to stop his strongest and fastest attack with extreme ease.

"You! What the heck are you?!"

Elliot smiled and said, "A dead dog doesn't need to know."

Immediately after, he turned the spear's sharp side towards him.

"Huh?" Benjamin's eyes widened in horror, a dreadful feeling climbing up in his spine and clutching the back of his neck in a vicious grip.

"Have a taste of your own medicine!"

Elliot grinned as he returned the spear buzzing with electricity back to Benjamin. However, he had used every bit of his strength to do so. He was physically as strong as a Magic Grandmaster. So, it's not hard to conclude that Benjamin failed to catch it. Furthermore, it took away one of his hands.

"Ugh! My hand!" Benjamin cried out loud as blood surged out of his recently created severe wound profusely. Throbbing veins appeared on his temple, and redness flushed his face and scarlet eyes. He had lost his right hand, the one he used to shake his stuff! It was his precious friend that made many of his nights pleasurable and memorable! The mental pain at the loss of a man's right hand was more than the physical pain.

"Oh, man, you scream like a sissy. It's pretty distasteful and itching me to wring your neck, you know?" Elliot said as he started to walk up to him, one step at a time. Hundreds of enemies surrounded him, yet he was acting like he was taking a stroll in a garden.

Hundreds of pairs of scarlet eyes turned towards him, each brimming with hatred and killing intent. Where the hell had this person come from, and why was he so damn strong?

"Take revenge for our leader!" Bravo exclaimed.

"As long as we have his head, it's our win."

"He will grow up to become a pain in the ass for our brethren. We must kill him, here and now."

Dozens of Serpentine Devils charged ahead as one and attacked him. Suddenly, earth wrapped around Elliot's legs, immobilizing him. Right at that very moment, four people charged at him from each side, dark swords tinged with green poison held in their hands.

"Give up your head!"

They leaped towards him with such force that they left behind a footprint in the ground and reached close to him in an instant. However, before they could swing their weapons at him, Eliot smirked, and right then, wings opened behind him, smashing into the eight of them. It happened so suddenly that they weren't able to guard against it, and they got embarrassedly thrown away.

"You fools are courting death!" Grace angrily dived down towards them, stamping her flesh on them, turning them into meat paste. How dare these peasants attack her mastering her presence?! She was mad, extremely angry.

"Awolowo!" By that time, the alpha, along with the rest of its pack of nightmare wolves, had climbed up the cliff. And they instantly pounced on the serpentine devils closest to them. There were several hundreds of them, so the disorganized and disheveled serpentine devils fell prey to them.

On the other hand, Grace swept the ones that tried to gang up on her master.

Thanks to her help, Elliot had all the time in his hands to have fun with Benjamin.

"A thousand men using a thousand weapons to kill a single boy! Yet, still failing! How disgraceful! Did you think I was easy to bully?"

Elliot said to Benjamin, who stepped away from him in horror. He was 30 years old while Elliot was a boy in his teens, yet there was such a drastic difference in their strength! A boy? He was more like a devil in a human skin.

A gust of wind swept across the ravaged cliff, and suddenly Elliot vanished from Benjamin's gaze. The very next moment, cold, inhuman-like hands clamped around his neck, along with that, chains wrapped around his limbs, immobilizing him.

Benjamin didn't even realize what just happened before it happened because Elliot had used such explosive and graceful footwork that they reached beyond the limits of his comprehension.
