Chapter 103 - There's A Hidden Meaning

Mo Rao did not feel that anything was wrong and took off her shoes to change.

When she was changing her shoes, she was a little unsteady and subconsciously reached out to support herself. Shen Feng quickly reached out.

However, Fu Ying hugged Mo Rao’s waist from behind. “Be careful.”

He acted like a good husband.

Shen Feng froze and retracted his hand with a cold expression.

Mo Rao felt that the hand on her waist was burning, making her heart flutter. She lowered her voice. “Let go. I can stand steadily!”

“After you finish changing, I’ll let go. If you fall, my heart will ache.” Fu Ying said this on purpose for Shen Feng to hear.

Mo Rao felt disdain.

Did he need to act like this?

Men were all liars!

After Mo Rao changed her shoes, Shen Feng brought Mo Rao into the living room. He had no intention of preparing a pair of slippers for Fu Ying.

However, Fu Ying did not care. This was his grandmother’s house and he was not a guest.

After changing his shoes, Fu Ying realized that Mo Rao had gone to the kitchen. He immediately followed her.

“Grandma, it smells so good!” Mo Rao was hugging Liu Yun’s arm and acting cute. Her voice was soft.

“How can the food I made for you not smell good?” Liu Yun felt happy when she heard her way of address.

Mo Rao looked at the kitchen full of ingredients and was really hungry. She swallowed her saliva. “Wow, I wasn’t very hungry at first, but when I saw these ingredients, I started to feel hungry.”

Liu Yun understood immediately and quickly instructed Shen Feng, “Did you hear that? Rao Rao said that she’s hungry. Shen Feng, come and help. Prepare the food as soon as possible.”

Shen Feng smiled gently. As he walked over to wash the vegetables, he deliberately sighed. “Sigh, when I came just now, I also said that I was hungry. Grandma, you weren’t so proactive then.”

“You’re a man. How can you compare to the delicate little Rao Rao?” Liu Yun glared at Shen Feng before smiling at Mo Rao dotingly.

Shen Feng nodded repeatedly. “Yes, yes, yes. Grandma is right.”

Seeing that the three of them were chatting amicably, Fu Ying felt out of place. He could only walk in. “Grandma.”

Seeing Fu Ying, Liu Yun was not as enthusiastic as before. Instead, she acted a little cold. “Yes, you’re here too.”

In the past, Liu Yun liked Fu Ying very much and always spoke to him with a smile.

Today, she was acting unusual.

Mo Rao did not dwell on it. She looked at the dumplings at the side and rolled up her sleeves to wash her hands. Then, she volunteered, “Grandma, I’ll go make dumplings!”

“No, I’ll do it later. Go sit and play with your phone for a while.” Liu Yun immediately stopped her. She could not bear to let Mo Rao do it. Anyone would like her fair and smooth hands.

Although Fu Ying was a scumbag, during the three years Mo Rao had been married to him, she hadn’t done much. In terms of material things, her life was very comfortable.

However, her relationship was a mess!

“Let me do it.” Fu Ying saw his chance and immediately rolled up his sleeves.

Mo Rao’s eyes were filled with surprise. She had never known that Fu Ying knew how to make dumplings!

Not to mention the three years Mo Rao had been married to him, from when she was adopted by the Fu family, she had never known that Fu Ying had culinary skills.

He usually did not do any chores and left them to the servants.

Fu Ying skillfully wrapped the dumplings.

Mo Rao said, “I didn’t expect you to know how to make dumplings.”

“When did I tell you that I don’t know how to?” Fu Ying looked up and asked Mo Rao as he wrapped the dumplings.

Just because he didn’t do it didn’t mean he didn’t know how to.

It was just that he usually did not have the time or mood to do this.

Mo Rao thought about it. That was true. Fu Ying had never cooked anything for her and she had never asked. How would she know if Fu Ying knew how to cook?

However, Qu Ru definitely knew because Fu Ying must have cooked it for her.

Liu Yun was a little surprised to hear their conversation. “Rao Rao, you’ve never eaten food Fu Ying cooked?”

“No.” Mo Rao shook her head. “But it doesn’t matter. Perhaps the food he cooks isn’t to my liking. After all, he specifically learned it for someone else. He must have learned it according to her taste and preferences.”

Fu Ying looked at Mo Rao again, his eyes filled with displeasure.

Mo Rao pretended not to see it and said to Liu Yun, “Grandma, I’m going to the washroom.”

“Go ahead.” Liu Yun nodded.

After Mo Rao left, Liu Yun asked Fu Ying unhappily, “Fu Ying, did you hear what Rao Rao said just now?”

Fu Ying nodded. Of course, he could tell what she was implying.

It was not that he did not know, but he did not want to do it. Liu Yun rolled her eyes. “You’re really hopeless.”
