The two individuals who walked in were different from what I had expected. Both of them were elves, and the male seemed to look at me with scorn. I could tell from the way he looked at me that he considered themselves better than us.

The thing that was perhaps most obvious about them was that they were siblings. One was a male, the other a female. The male was a swordsman, this was obvious by the long sword on his hip. He moved with the gracefulness of a practiced swordsman. He had long blond hair bulled back into a bun. He had the signature pointy ears of an elf, and had bright green eyes.

The girl seemed to be a mage of some sort. In her hands was a long wooden staff. It was decorated with letters of the ancient elvish literature. Upon closer inspection I noticed that she was actually not a pure blood health, it was obvious by her bountiful chest, and curvy body. She had the same long hair as her brother, but her ears were less sharp in comparison. Her eyes were a sapphire blue in color.

I looked at them and nodded. "A mage and a swordsman, You will be good assets to our team. My name is Yuri Morningstar I am what is called an Arcane Assassin. My spells are rather unique, being limited to bone and poison types. I have ranged spells, Area of effect spells, and I just obtained a close combat spell and ability that will help out immensely."

I gestured to Hylia who was currently on my shoulder. "This is Hylia Morningstar, my wife. Do to certain circumstances she was forced into this form. She used to be a divine warrior for the Goddess of War. But now does not have a class do to her form. She is an archer."

The woman smiled at us. She seemed far less arrogant than her brother. "My name is Sierra Everbright, and I am a novice wizard. I know a variety of spells, but focus most on fire type spells. My brother is a rare swordsman class called the Magic Swordsman. He is unable to cast any spells, but can imbue his sword with his magical energy, creating a much stronger and faster blade. His name is Micah Everbright."

I nodded at them. "We have a few days until the battle will start, I think it is essential that we use this time to understand each other and their abilities. It is not the most prudent for us to do practice battles, as we cannot use our abilities to their utmost. Does anyone have any ideas?"

Micah sneered as he heard my words. "Did you not listen to the vice guild master at all? The dungeon has been opened especially for this. We have a limited time to work out our team formations, so it is best to figure it out through battle. There is no wait time, so we could theoretically grind the dungeon until the time the battle comes."

My mother had actually not mentioned any of this to us, but I did not pay it any mind. She had looked exhausted and her mind was obviously elsewhere.

The elves left their belongings in the living room as we headed towards the dungeon. I noticed the that the streets were unusually empty, and when I mentioned it Sierra informed me that the civilians had all been relocated to emergency shelter underneath the city.

When we arrived at the dungeon we noticed that it was incredibly busy. There were around 100 groups of four coming and going from the dungeon. This must have been the entirety of the rank D adventurers in the city. The cyclops guard quickly checked our badges before letting us in. Our team name had been assigned a generic temporary name "Team 4".

The team numbers were apparently numbered by rank, our team being the fourth most powerful. I do not know how they came up with the classification, but I had to assume it would be accurate.

We had to wait in line for around 15 minutes before we were able to enter the dungeon. This was not because of a limit to how many people could go in, as they were all sent to different instances, rather because the people that lined up before us were simply to many.

Finally it was our turn to enter, and I felt the familiar tingle of displacement as we entered an instance.

When I had finally gotten my bearings I realized we were in an ice covered laberynth. The roars of beasts could be heard over the bone chilling howls of wind. By body began to shiver as condensation formed in the air from my breath. Of course we got a cold environment.

The elves were not fairing any better, But Micah arrogantly began to walk forward. Sierra looked back at us before quickly following behind her brother. I entered stealth and began to walk behind them. I guess it was time to see what these two could do.

Micah did not once look back, but when Sierra did she could not see me. She mentioned it to her brother, which caused him to give out a hmmph. "What else can you expect from a Dark Elf and a spider. We are obviously paired with them to carry them after all the spider was once known as the vice guild leaders niece."

I could not help but mentally mock them, Hylia was quick to join me. Sierra seemed to have a good head on her shoulders, but was being dragged down by the arrogance of her brother.
